TOPIC: PREPARING FOR A POST ISRAEL MIDDLE EAST.
I'll be the first one to admit I never heard of this 82 page paper which has been drafted, but already accept by every Defense Department the United States has, according to what I heard on the Bill Deagle show today. This whole scenario depends on President Obama getting re-elected. The whole things is based on Netenyahu being snubbed by President Obama when he comed to the U.S. to visit the U.N. and make a speech. If Mitt Romney is elected, the whole thing is different because Mitt Romney is right behind Netenyahu, and President Obama wants to work with diplomacy. You will hear this all detailed out by Texe Maars.
Here are the shows so you can listen for yourself.

Indefinite Military Detention Of US Citizens Signed Into Law By Obama
President Barack Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act of 2013
on Wednesday, despite
his own threat to veto it over prohibitions on closing the Guantanamo Bay
Civil liberties advocates had roundly criticized the bill over Guantanamo and
a separate section that could allow the military to indefinitely detain American
citizens on suspicions of supporting terrorism. Just as he did
with last year's version of the bill, however, Obama decided that the need
to pass the NDAA, which also sets the armed forces' $633 billion budget for the
2013 fiscal year, was simply "too great to ignore," according to
a presidential signing statement released in the early morning hours
Members of the human rights coalition that
had urged Obama to follow through on his veto threat blasted his decision as
a cave to congressional Republicans.
"President Obama has utterly failed the first test of his second term, even
before inauguration day,” American Civil Liberties Union Executive Director
“His signature means indefinite detention without charge or trial, as well as the illegal military commissions, will be extended.”
"It's the second time that the president has promised to veto a piece of a
very controversial national security legislation only to sign it," said Shahid
Buttar, executive director of the Bill of Rights Defense Committee. "He has a
habit of promising resistance to national security initiatives that he
ultimately ends up supporting and enabling."
After the president issued his veto threat in November, a House-Senate
conference committee made one minor change: it shortened the length of the
bill's prohibition on transferring Guantanamo detainees to the U.S. to one
fiscal year, instead of the open-ended ban in the original Senate version.
Obama's signing statement did reiterate his opposition to restrictions on
when he can move prisoners out of the Guantanamo camp. Such statements signal
how a president plans to put a law into effect but do not have the force of law
themselves, leaving future administrations to make their own interpretations.
As Politico's Josh Gerstein notes, however, Obama’s recent signing statement significantly toned down his promises to reverse parts of the bill he objected to. Last year, Obama’s signing statement said his administration had “worked tirelessly to reform or remove the provisions” he found objectionable. Obama’s latest statement made no such claim.
Obama also allowed provisions of the law that require his administration to place certain terrorism suspects into military custody to stand without comment, though the administration’s interpretation of that section of the law renders it nearly irrelevant. Under procedures released by the White House in February, the military custody requirement can be waived in a wide variety of cases, including if the suspect’s home country objects to military custody; if the suspect is arrested for conduct conducted in the U.S.; and if the suspect is originally charged with a non-terrorism offense. The administration also claimed the military custody requirement didn’t apply in cases where the suspect was originally arrested by state or local law enforcement, when a transfer to military custody could interfere with efforts to secure cooperation or confession or when a transfer would interfere with a joint trial.
Obama's signature caps an intense sequence of events for opponents of indefinite detention. In November, a bipartisan group of senators amended their chamber's NDAA bill to prohibit the military from detaining American citizens on American soil. But when the House and Senate met to reconcile their versions of the NDAA, that amendment was stripped out behind closed doors.
"The president seemed to have nothing to say about that," Buttar said. "The whole process, quite frankly, was a reflection of the worst parts of Washington -- the institutional dysfunction, the lack of historical memory, the unwillingness to consider relatively limited reforms that would make these powers responsible and limited."
Outside of Congress, civil liberties groups are pushing forward with a lawsuit against the indefinite detention provisions of the NDAA on the grounds that they are unconstitutional. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg denied their efforts to reinstate an injunction against indefinite detention on Dec. 14, but the case against the law is still proceeding in the Second Circuit Court.
Demonstrations and political pressure around Guantanamo, meanwhile, will also continue. Civil liberties groups argue that despite the provisions in the NDAA, the president may still be able to close the detention camp or at least free some of the inmates there. Still, they were disappointed by his signature.
"It's not encouraging that the President continues to be willing to tie his own hands when it comes to closing Guantanamo," Dixon Osburn, the director of Human Rights First's Law and Security Program, said in a statement. "The injustice of Guantanamo continues to serve as a stain on American global leadership on human rights."
Jan. 11 marks the 11th anniversary of the prison camp's opening there.
Michael McAuliff contributed reporting.
(Obama said when he signed NDAA the first time that he did Not Like
it and would never use it, Then after some Patriotic Congressmen got
NDAA removed now Obama (AKA Berry somebody ?) is signing in NDAA again
making arrest of U.S. Citizens with no evidence, no warrants, no charges
and indefinite imprisonment by the army with no right to a lawyer, a
trial or a phone call telling anyone where you are legal !) In the U.S.

We’ve been trying to keep you aware of what has been taking place with the talks concerning the 2013 version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). We’ve covered the Feinstein amendment, which effectively did nothing, except to empower Congress to authorize the military at their whim to violate people’s 4th, 5th, and 6th Amendment rights. But now the talks are all done and the legislation is headed for Barack Obama’s desk to be signed into law soon, just as it was nearly one year ago today, including provision to use the military to indefinitely detain US citizens.
Previously, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) voted for the Feinstein amendment to the NDAA. But then there came the hashing out of language in the bill and Paul blasted Senator John McCain (R-AZ) for stripping away the amendment.
“We had protection in this bill. We passed an amendment that specifically said if you were an American citizen or here legally in the country, you would get a trial by jury,” Paul said. “It’s been removed because they want the ability to hold American citizens without trial in our country. This is so fundamentally wrong and goes against everything we stand for as a country that it can’t go unnoticed.”
The problem with Paul’s assertion is that there was no protection for anyone, whether they are a citizen of the US, a permanent resident or a visitor. Rights that are supposed to be protected under the Constitution be damned! Neither the NDAA, nor the amendment proposed protected one person who is on American Soil.
Paul called the NDAA an “abomination.”It is that, but so was the Feinstein amendment and even more so because it was deceptive at its core.
The Senate easily passed NDAA 2013 by a vote of 81-14. The next stop is Obama’s desk.
UPDATE: People are asking when the House passed NDAA for fiscal year 2013. The links have been provided. This one comes from the one at the end of the article, “Obama’s desk.” They passed it first in May and then the final passage took place one day before the Senate passed it; December 20.
UPDATE: Additionally some have asked for the language in the bill. Here is section 1033, which I provided a link to in the article. You can also read my comments and others on the article I wrote concerning this amendment and how it uses language to appear that it does not give authority to indefinitely detain citizens, while at the same time it gives power to Congress authorizes it. Congress gave their authorization (unconstitutional as it was) last year in Section 1023 of the 2012 NDAA.
SEC. 1033. PROHIBITION ON THE INDEFINITE DETENTION OF CITIZENS AND LAWFUL PERMANENT RESIDENTS.
Section 4001 of title 18, United States Code, is amended–
(1) by redesignating subsection (b) as subsection (c); and
(2) by inserting after subsection (a) the following:
‘(b)(1) An authorization to use military force, a declaration of war, or any similar authority shall not authorize the detention without charge or trial of a citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States apprehended in the United States, unless an Act of Congress expressly authorizes such detention.

America Planning for a
Post-Israel Middle East?
By Franklin Lamb
August 28, 2012 "Information Clearing House" ---- Congresswoman Illena Ros-Lehtinen will have her hands full as she makes the political and social rounds at this month’s Republican National Convention. Illena, is the only female committee chair in the House of Representatives and arguably Israel’s most ardent agent. She is a constant thorn in the Obama administration's side, regularly castigating the president for playing "political games with U.S. foreign policy” and being “soft on Iran” and undermining the legitimacy of Israel. Ros-Lehtinen is a congressional cheer leader also for her Jewish voters in Florida -- a key battleground in the rapidly approaching US presidential election. Most recently, Ros-Lehtinen helped shepherd through Congress yet another bill tightening sanctions against Iran while calling for US military action against the Assad regime in Syria.
The Congresswomen’s focus will likely not be on pushing the republican’s talking points regarding her party’s nominee, Mitt Romney the former “moderate Massachusetts governor” who she is aware is unlikely to win the White House. Nor, according to a source at the Democratic National Committee, frantically putting together final touches on their own Convention, to be held the week of September 3 in Charlotte, North Carolina, will Ileana spend much time with or promoting Mitt’ running mate, Congressman Paul Ryan. Ryan, an Ayn Rand (author of The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged as well as founder of the Objectivism movement) follower, regularly tells audiences that “Ayn Rand’s teachings have been one of the most profound philosophical influences of my life.” Well, except for religion and abortion and a few other matters, as Ayn, who passed away in 1982 was an avowed atheist and strongly pro-abortion, the opposite of what Ryan tells audiences he is.
Rather, Ros-Lehtinen will be meeting with local, national, and international Jewish leaders in this must win state where she has been assigned the task of reassuring them that the Republican Party is Israel’s best friend and that a recent US government draft report urging a US re-think of its relationship to Israel is the responsibility of none other than Barack Obama, and it reveals his true disdain for Israel.
Helping her smear the White House with the findings in the draft analysis will be William Kristol, publisher of the neoconservative Weekly Standard and Director of the New American Century, an “Israel first” Washington-based lobby “promoting joint Israeli and American political and military leadership across the globe, while bringing democracy to the Middle East”.
So what is all the fuss about?
It’s a paper entitled: Preparing For A Post Israel Middle East, an 82 page analysis that concludes that the American national interest in fundamentally at odds with that of Zionist Israel. The authors concludes that Israel is currently the greatest threat to US national interests because its nature and actions prevent normal US relations with Arab and Muslim countries and, to a growing degree, the wider international community.
The study was commissioned by the US Intelligence Community comprising 16 American intelligence agencies with an annual budget in excess of $ 70 billion. The IC includes the Departments of the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Defense Intelligence Agency, Departments of Energy, Homeland Security, State, Treasury, Drug Enforcement Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Security Agency, National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, National Reconnaissance Agency and the Central Intelligence Agency commissioned the study.
Among the many findings that Ros-Lehtenin and Kristol and other unregistered agents of Israel will likely try to exploit politically between now and November 6, by using them to attack the Obama Administration. A sampling of the findings includes the following:
• Israel, given its current brutal occupation and belligerence cannot be salvaged any more than apartheid south Africa could be when as late as 1987 Israel was the only “Western” nation that upheld diplomatic ties with South Africa and was the last country to join the international boycott campaign before the regime collapsed;
• The Israel leadership, with its increasing support of the 700,000 illegal settlers on the occupied West Bank is increasing out of touch with the political, military and economic realities of the Middle East;
• The post Labor government Likud coalition is deeply complicit with and influenced by the settlers’ political and financial power and will increasingly face domestic civil strife which the US government should not associate itself with or become involved with;
• The Arab Spring and
Islamic Awakening has, to a major degree, freed a large majority of the 1.2
billion Arab and Muslims to pursue what an overwhelming majority believe is the
illegitimate, immoral and unsustainable European occupation of Palestine of the
• Simultaneous with, but predating, rapidly expanding Arab and Muslim power in the region as evidenced by the Arab spring, Islamic Awakening and the ascendancy of Iran, as American power and influence recedes, the US commitment to belligerent oppressive Israel is becoming impossible to defend or execute consistent given paramount US national interests which include normalizing relations with the 57 Islamic countries;
• Gross Israeli
interference in the internal affairs of the United States through spying and
illegal US arms transfers. This includes supporting more than 60 ‘front
organizations’ and approximately 7,500 US officials who do Israel’s bidding and
seek to dominate and intimidate the media and agencies of the US government
which should no longer be condoned;
• That the United States government no longer has the financial resources, or public support to continue funding Israel. The more than three trillion dollars in direct and indirect aid from US taxpayers to Israel since 1967 is not affordable and is increasingly being objected to by US taxpayers who oppose continuing American military involvement in the Middle East. US public opinion no longer supports funding and executing widely perceived illegal US wars on Israel’s behalf. This view is increasingly being shared by Europe, Asia and the International public;
• Israel’s segregationist occupation infrastructure evidenced by legalized discrimination and increasingly separate and unequal justice systems must no longer be directly or indirectly funded by the US taxpayers or ignored by the US government;
• Israel has failed as a
claimed democratic state and continued American financial and political cover
will not change its continuing devolution as international pariah state;
• Increasingly, rampant and violent racism exhibited among Jewish settlers in the West Bank is being condoned by the Israeli government to a degree that the Israel government has become its protector and partner;
• The expanding chasm among American Jews objecting to Zionism and Israeli practices, including the killing and brutalizing of Palestinians under Israeli occupation, are gross violations of American and International law and raise questions within the US Jewish community regarding the American responsibility to protect (R2P) innocent civilians under occupation;
• The international opposition to the increasingly apartheid regime can no longer be synchronized with American claimed humanitarian values or US expectations in its bi-lateral relations with the 193 member United Nations;
The Draft ends with language about the need to avoid entangling alliances that alienate much of the World and condemn American citizens to endure the consequences.
Interestingly, it notes
Iran as an example of a country and people that have much in common and whose
citizens have a real interest in bilateral associations (here an apparent
reference to Israel and its US lobby) not determined by the wishes of other
countries and their agents. It also highlights the need for the US to undertake
“the repairing relations with Arab and Muslim countries including the
drastically curtained use of drone aircraft.
The coming days will clarity the success of Israel’s in making an issue of the finding in the soon to be published daft report and the degree to which the Republican Party will gain for its findings in the race for the White House.

Largest Ever Naval Exercise in Middle East
The United States and its allies began their largest ever naval exercise in the Middle East on Sunday, September 16, 2012, designed to demonstrate their ability to counter a potential Iranian naval blockade of the vital Strait of Hormuz.
The massive show of force has once again brought the threat of war to the region; raising the prospect Israel will launch a pre-emptive strike against Iran, which has already promised retaliation.
An armada of military hardware from 25 nations, including aircraft carriers, destroyers, submarines and minesweepers has descended on the Persian Gulf as Western policy makers desperately try to convince Israel that diplomacy and sanctions designed to halt Iran's nuclear program need more time to work.
The massive show of force has once again brought the threat of war to the region; raising the prospect Israel will launch a pre-emptive strike against Iran, which has already promised retaliation for any attacks against its nuclear facilities.
On Sunday, the Associated Press quoted Iran's top revolutionary Guard commander Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari as warning that: "His country's missiles will ensure 'nothing will remain' of Israel if it takes military action against Tehran over its controversial nuclear program."
Predicting a joint U.S./Israeli attack, Jafari added that he was also prepared to strike American bases in the region.

Show 3: Bill Deagle, John Moore, Alexandar Bachman, and Christine Consolo 9-21-12 (earthchanges special) http://www.greatdreams.com/blog-2012-3/0921123.mp3
The last show covered a lot of ground besides the politics coming up. Alexandar Bachman has published a paper about Chinese subs off the California Coast and underwater UFOs. The youtube.com video I saw said it was about alien wars, which I find to be hogwash. But that scenario fits into the scenario of the fake UFO attack we call Project Bluebeam, which I wrote about the other day. http://www.greatdreams.com/blog-2012-3/dee-blog285.html
Christine talked about the sink holes appearing in Louisiana, which we also reported on before. The holes are growing and are man-made problems, nothing really mysterious, but still dangerous.
I'd like to throw in a few videos by a preacher I ran across today on youtube.com who fits into another page I wrote about the coming election.
