WHERE ON EARTH DO WE FIND SIN?

Oh, what is sin in this mundane sphere?

Where does it start in this ball of dust?

The Scriptures teach us "Ye must not do"

And again they teach us "that we must".

They teach us ever, "The Law Of Love"

Love one another if we would win.

Then where on Earth or in Heaven above,

If we love one another can we find sin?

We must not covet our neighbor's goods.

We must not covet our neighbor's wife.

We must "prove all things' and hold fast the good.

But "ye must not lust" oh, not on your life.

Now I ask you again in this cloud of dust,

Where the natural law is to multiply,

Is the mating call not the call of lust?

If we answer the call, do we have to die?

T'was the money changers that Christ condemned,

And tossed from the temple to borrow and loan,

To the outcast woman, he gave his hand,

And He 'without sin" must cast the first stone.

And never a stone was cast that day,

The hearts of men were heavy with gold,

They stood on the corners to loudly pray,

And laid up their treasures to rust and mould.

It seems to me in this state we're in,

Where man forever must stand and wait,

That the Love of Gold is the deadly sin,

And to place a crown on your own bald pate.

God never intended that man should rule,

His fellow men or the Universe,

When he tries to do it, he is only a fool,

And truely inherit's Adams curse.
