SPECIAL MEDITATION AGAINST THE WAR IN THE MIDDLE EAST

Dear Friends,
We, the undersigned, ask that you join us and the rest of the world in shifting the energy between the Middle East and the United States from a place of fear, anger, and conflict to a place of love, peace, and understanding.
The power to transform this energy lies within each one of us. Research in quantum physics is proving that we can control events with our thoughts. The more people who participate, the stronger the transformation will be. The government (and military itself) has been experimenting with meditation and it's ability to manifest events in the world for 22 years now.
"The Office of the Secretary of Defense officially chartered the
Pentagon Meditation Club (PMC) in 1976. The PMC is a private
association of military and civilian personnel who meditate so
that all elements of society will be influenced to live in harmony,
love, and peace."

We ask that you join Marianne Williamson www.marianne.com James Redfield, and Neale Donald Walsh in a moment of silence beginning on Saturday, February 21, 1998 at 6:00PM EST. These silent moments will continue at the same time each day for a total of 7 days.
In agreement with LightShift 2000 www.lightshift.com, we ask that this moment of silence be extended beyond the suggested 5 minutes to 15 minutes to "allow for tardiness, clock errors, and fuller resonance."
Marianne Williamson asks that we "SURROUND THE WORLD WITH PRAYER. Particularly pray for Sadam Hussein, and the oneness of the American and the Iraqi people."

We ask during these moments of silence that you let go of all fears, prejudices, and negative thoughts/energies and allow peace, love, and positive thoughts/energies to fill your body, mind, heart, and soul. Let this feeling of peace and love surround you and then let it grow to surround the planet. You may also pray to your chosen deity and ask that peace is kept in the world.
We need to do this together, to take this matter into our hearts and out of the hands of the government which believes that the people of America will support a war with Iraq.

If you agree that peace should be kept in the world, particularly in the Middle East at this time, please do the following:
1. Pray, meditate, light a white candle, or do whatever else you choose (from a place of peace and love) to manifest peace in the world. Do this with the rest of the world for 7 days (as described earlier).
2. Attach your name and/or your organization's name to this message and pass it on to as many people as possible.
3. CC a copy to the President of the United States at: president@whitehouse.gov and to the U.S. Secretary of State, Madelyn Albright at: secretary@state.gov
4. CC a copy to Litesoul@aol.com so that we can keep a record of the number of these messages going in to the whitehouse.
