8-3-09 - DREAM - I was living and working in an apartment building complex where a lot of old people lived. It seemed like a very nice place.

One elderly woman was telling me how much fun it would be to go see the band play in the evening, and she intimated that it was at a place far away and she had a look of joy on her face when she was telling me this.

I rather looked forward to going to see the band play too then, until I walked down to the end of the hallway to the recreation room. When I looked in the room, there was a band playing, and standing in front of the band was the director, a tall, thin man with blondish long wavy hair, wearing a tight suit - of pink and yellow with silver shoes.

The director of the band was smiling broadly hand gesturing wildly to the band, but turning around to the crowd too, and drawing in their admiration with his smiles.

I got a distinct 'danger' signal in my heart and mind looking at the man gesturing and grinning at the old women watching him.

I don't know exactly where this thought came to me, but it did, and when I told others about the band playing at the end of the hall, I said, "There is a blackness behind the 1,000 years."

I was looking at three circular objects - colored pink and yellow blended together a bit. I was trying to interpret what these objects were and what they meant. A voice from behind me said, "I don't know what good that is going to do you!"

I don't either, but maybe someday I will.

I have made the outer border of this section black to indicate the blackness behind the 1,000 years.

THE THOUSAND YEARS

Many attempting to explain the book of Revelation incorrectly take a purely
sequential approach, ie;

7 Seals, 7 Trumpets, 7 Bowls, 1,000 yrs, Judgment, New Heaven/Earth

As a result they confuse the message and end up depicting an excessive
number of separate events.

THE 7 CHURCHES (REV 2:1-3:22)


In the opening chapters of the book of Revelation we encounter descriptions
of seven churches.


          Ephesus
            Smyrna
              Pergamos
                Thyatira
                  Sardis
                    Philadelphia
                      Laodicea

These messages are of greater significance than many have realized. They
represent the 7 lamps of the lampstand of the tabernacle of meeting. In
the New Testament these are the 7 major divisions of Christianity which
exist in the end time!


ADMONITION
       Ephesus      -  'you have left your first love' 
       Smyrna       -  'do not fear ... be faithful until death'

THE 1,000 YEAR REIGN (REV 20:1-10)


The text of the 1,000 year prophecy has caused many to believe there will
be a 1,000 year period when Christ and the righteous will rule on this
earth. However, there are a number of factors which suggest this is not
the true teaching of this prophecy.

       1)  This 1,000 year era is not implied by any other prophecy.
           (NB: The 7th day of creation, unlike the first 6 days, is not
           described in Genesis as being comprised of an evening and a
           morning. This suggests the 7th day is an undefined or open
           ended period of time.)   

       2)  All other prophecies relate directly (or indirectly) to events
           in our immediate future. One does not encounter prophecies
           which detail events or time periods considerably beyond those
           associated with the tribulation and the return of Christ.

       3)  2 Peter 3:8 states 'one day is as a thousand years and a
           thousand years as one day'. Although the first clause,
           ie 1 day = 1,000 years, is utilized to associate the 6 days
           of creation to a period of 6,000 years; it appears the second
           clause is never considered. Should this period of 1,000 years
           be understood to represent one day?
  
       3)  Prophetic periods of time relating to the 'end time' are
           never plainly stated! (Many not having an adequate awareness
           of biblical 'end time' prophecy have failed to realize the
           existence of symbolic time periods.)
      

A common symbolic meaning attributed to the 1,000 years is to see it
as the period of 2,000 years, the period from Pentecost to the Great
Tribulation.

However, the correct understanding of the 1,000 year scriptures presented
in Rev 20:1-11 requires greater discernment.


Firstly we should notice that the period of one thousand years in this
text is encountered 6 times over a span of 7 verses (Rev 20:1-7). This
frequency is too high!

The reason for this excessive repetition lies in the fact that two periods
of time are being portrayed!

    - First period.  Rev 20:2, 3 and 7.  

    - Second period. Rev 20:4, 5 and 6.


These two successive periods are mentioned together in Isaiah.

    Isa   61:2   To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,
                 And the day of vengeance of our God; ...



In summary the verses would be viewed as follows:


ADMONITION    The first period of the symbolic 1,000 years is the end-time
              equivalent of the restraint of Satan during the ministry
              of Jesus Christ. (A time when demons could be cast out,
              refer Matthew 12:22-29.) 
              An angel appears with the key to the bottomless pit. (The
              key of David held by Christ. Rev 3:7.)
              Following this Satan is bound and the warning is announced.
              This is the prophetic acceptable year of the LORD (typified
              in Luke 4:19). During this time the first resurrection
              (a spiritual resurrection) is taking place.
              

TRIBULATION   The second period of the symbolic 1,000 years is the 'little
              while' of Rev 20:3 (also mentioned in Rev 12:12), ie the
              duration of the Great Tribulation.
              Those who possess the 'gospel of the kingdom' can not be
              hurt by the dragon's deception and are therefore described
              as 'reigning with Christ'.
              However, everyone else has to face the full deception
              of Satan and through this means God brings the day of
              vengeance upon the religious hierarchy guilty of the
              blood of the saints.  

              Toward the end of the Great Tribulation Satan knowing his
              time is about to finish gathers the nations together
              against the betrothed wife of Christ.  


RESOLUTION    The work of the dragon is brought to an end.
              The second spiritual resurrection begins.

Cumaean Sibyl

The Cumaean Sibyl was the priestess presiding over the Apollonian oracle at Cumae, a Greek colony located near Naples, Italy.

The word sibyl comes (via Latin) from the ancient Greek word sibylla, meaning prophetess. There were eventually many Sibyls in the ancient world, but because of the importance of the Cumaean Sibyl in the legends of early Rome codified in Virgil's Aeneid VI, she became the most famous among Romans, supplanting the Erythraean Sibyl famed among Greeks.

She is one of the four sibyls painted by Raphael at Santa Maria della Pace. She was also painted by Andrea del Castagno and in the Sistine Ceiling of Michelangelo her powerful presence overshadows every other Sibyl, even her younger and more beautiful sisters, such as the Delphic Sibyl.

There are various names for the Cumaean Sibyl besides the "Herophile" of Pausanias and Lactantius^[2] or the Aeneid's "Deiphobe, daughter of Glaucus": "Amaltheia", "Demophile" or "Taraxandra" are all offered in various references.

The timing of the work: When was it started and when is it schedule to be completed:

The starting date of the mystical work was 1776 - printed in Roman Numerals on the base of the pyramid on the Great Seal.

One key to the starting date of this mystical work is magnificently ciphered in the number 888, the sum of the letters in Greek for the name of Jesus (each Greek letter represents a number). This cipher also confirms the prophecies of Psalms 118 and Acts 4 concerning Jesus as the rejected capstone, because this same number—888—is also found in “the riddle” of the Sibylline Oracles, ascribed to the Cumaean Sibyl, which J. L. Lightfoot says was hoped by some early Christians to represent Jesus, but was clearly understood by pagans to be a prophecy of the return of Apollo. 888 was Olen’s number, the founder of Apollo’s oracle and his first prophet, and signified the “spiritual sun” represented in the glory surrounding the all-seeing eye of Apollo/Horus on the Great Seal, and the novus ordo seclorum or “new age” that his coming would herald. Gnostics and mystics among the occult hierarchy maintain this interpretation as the true meaning of the Apollonian Sibyl’s prophecy. The text in question comes from the Sibylline Oracles:

Then will come to men the Son of the Great God, coated flesh, similar to mortals on earth.… But I want to tell you the whole [of his] number: eight units [8], so much tens in addition [80], and eight hundreds [800, or 8+80+800=888], here are what to the friends of incredulity, to men, the Name will reveal; but you, in the spirit, thinks well of the immortal and very high Son of God, to the Christ.

So here we have two “messiahs” represented by the number 888—Jesus, the Christ of the Bible, and Apollo, the Sibyl’s messiah of the novus ordo seclorum. What is astonishing about this is that adding the number of these two messiahs together (888+888) equals the year 1776—the date chosen for the founding of the United States and reflected in the Roman numerals at the base of the uncapped pyramid on the Great Seal.

Adepts of the mystical order actually go to great lengths to show how this addition of 888+888=1776 is the “cardinal number” of the “great work” also known as the “eagle of eagles” reflected in the well-known Masonic symbol of the two-headed eagle or phoenix, which Masonic dictionaries define as historically representing the “merger” of two gods (in this instance, Jesus with Apollo).

Given everything else we have learned from the works of Freemasons like David Ovason and Manly P. Hall, this date, 1776, representing two messiahs—the rejection of one in favor of the other—is not likely a mistake. Thus, the trestleboard’s 1776 “beginning” date for the great work of the Craft truly marked the start in history of the secret doctrine of Freemasonic Illuminatus toward establishing a New Atlantis in anticipation of the return of their founder and deity, Apollo/Osiris/Nimrod.

To further verify this part of the cipher pointing to an “alternative capstone” or second messiah, the year 1776 at the base of the pyramid is understood by Masons worldwide to be the year 5776 Anno Lucis (“in the year of light”). This is because Masons of the ancient Craft add four thousand years to the common date, the number of years that conventional theology assumes creation began before Christ: thus, 4,000+1,776=5,776.

Why is this important? Because 5,776 is exactly how many inches high the Great Pyramid in Giza would be when completed with its capstone, a sacred fact to occultists. Completing the pyramid symbolically in this way is central to the rituals and mysticism of Freemasons and numerous Illuminated fraternities. This has been true throughout the ages, and is why this symbolism was encoded on the Great Seal and remains at the core of esoteric ambition today. The year 1776 thus represents 1) the trestleboard date on which the great work and secret destiny began; and 2) is a prophetic marker toward the descent of the eye of Apollo/Osiris/Nimrod upon the uncapped pyramid in accomplishment of the Great Work.

Yet if the year 1776 represents the starting date on the trestleboard toward the accomplishment “of which the United States Government was dedicated from the day of its inception,” as Manly P. Hall said, what date did the Master Masons envision that the work would be finished in order that Hiram Abiff (Osiris/Apollo/Nimrod) could return to inhabit his temple? This is found in the modern Jewish calendar as well as the Scottish Rite Freemasonry, who, unlike their other brethren, prefer adding 3,760 years to the common date. In order for this superior side of Masonry to arrive at the appropriate number for their finished pyramid and the completed work (the height of the pyramid with its capstone reaching upward of 5,776 inches), they have to add the future date, 2016, to the common era, or 3,760+2,016=5,776.

This is important for several reasons, not the least of which is that, if the culmination of the Illuminati enterprise is concluded in 2016, it is prophetically related to the infamous future year 2012—the end of the Mayan Long Count calendar. The year 2012 could therefore represent in Christian eschatology the beginning of Great Tribulation, with 2016 representing the “midst of the week” when Apollo (Antichrist) presents himself as God and enters the temple in Jerusalem.

Recurrence of 2012 and 2016: What is the Significance of These Dates?

As the reader will discover in my upcoming book Apollyon Rising 2012, the year-dates 2012 and 2016 appear on dozens of occasions in connection to the Masonic prophecy of the coming of Hiram/Osiris/Apollo. We will reveal how these years are encoded on the Great Seal of the United States and several other important Masonic ciphers, including the true Lost Symbol (this part of the book is going to shock people), the Capitol Dome in Washington DC, and the first degree Masonic trestleboard. But first let me offer several tidbits related to end-times scenarios that some readers may find interesting.

I mentioned above how the year 2012, being three and one-half years before the Masonic ending date 2016, could thus be viewed as the beginning of the Tribulation period. However, a more disturbing scenario that some believe could also fit with prophecy is that 2016 instead represents the end, not the middle, of the Great Tribulation period—which would mean the year 2012 would actually be the “midst of the week” and the reign of Antichrist would have started mid-2009. Though we see no solid evidence of this at this time, scholars believe the first three and one-half years of Antichrist’s kingdom holds relative calm anyway, even temporarily producing what at first appears to be answers for mankind’s greatest needs, and that during this time the Antichrist is not known for who he really is. Ordo ab Chao first creates chaos, then answers to earth’s problems begin to arrive just as the world is losing hope. Then, in the “middle of the week” things explode and people understand who they have put into position of unparalleled earthly authority.

Using this premise, there are several possible supportive facts for 2009 as the beginning of sorrows, including that the end of the Mayan calendar, December 21, 2012, is three and one-half days before Christmas that year. Consider that the book of Revelation, chapter 11, describes the two witnesses who prophesy for 1,260 days before Apollo kills them and they lie in the street of Jerusalem for three and one-half days. Note what it says happens:

And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwell on the earth. And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. (Revelation 11:9–11)

It is possible that the text above is describing the two witnesses being killed during the Christmas season, because people are making “merry” and sending gifts to one another around the world. As David Flynn emailed me, “What other international holiday besides Christmas results in people worldwide exchanging gifts (the lexicons literally say ‘presents’) to each other? The description of the two witnesses as ‘candle stands’ also connects them to Hanukkah, which occurs immediately before Christmas. This strongly suggests the two witnesses are killed sometime near, but before, December 25.”

This could mean the end of the Mayan calendar—December 21, 2012—is the very day the two witnesses are killed by Apollo, as this Mayan ending-date is three and one-half days before Christmas. This would also indicate that the middle of the Great Tribulation period is December 21, 2012.

On the other hand, people who believe in a pretribulation Rapture would point out that the “catching away” of the saints did not happen in 2009, and therefore the Masonic date 2016 might better represent the “midst of the week” (see Daniel 9:27; Revelation 11–13) when Apollo (Antichrist) presents himself as God and sets up the “abomination” in the temple in Jerusalem. Under this scenario, the year 2012 would represent the beginning of the Great Tribulation period, three and one-half years before mid-2016.

That the year 2012 marks the beginning of the Great Tribulation not only could fit with Bible prophecy, as it is in the “midst of the week”—three and one-half years into the Great Tribulation period—when Antichrist enthrones himself as God in the temple, this would also conform well with the Masonic and Great Seal prophecies forecasting the return of the Great Architect and Hiram Abiff (Apollo/Osiris/Nimrod), who enters the finished temple as god, in this case, mid-2016, which is three and one-half years following 2012.

In what could also be a related fact, June 21, 2016, is exactly three and one-half years after the Mayan ending-date of December 21, 2012, and June 21 marks the summer solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and the winter solstice in the Southern Hemisphere when a cusp line is created between Gemini and Cancer, signs that David Ovason referred to as having deep astrological significance to the founding and secret destiny of America.

It is also very important to recognize that, based on Daniel chapter 9 and related texts, scholars believe a period of not more than seventy years (a biblical generation) will elapse between the reformation of Israel as a nation and the return of Jesus Christ. When seventy years is added to 1948—the year Israel was formally recognized as an independent nation by the United Nations—it brings us through the year 2018. Does this mean that the year 2019—exactly seven years after 2012—would mark the year that Jesus Christ returns with the armies of heaven to establish His rule over earth? J. R. Church called me to stipulate:

If Christ referred to a seventy-year generation when He said, “This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled” (Matthew 24:34), then he could return at anytime before the seventy years is up. This is not meant to set a date, but to simply speculate on the concept that our Savior addressed.

This advice would seem more in line with the first scenario above, that the seven-year period of Tribulation began in 2009, though J. R. personally would certainly not set “dates.” Interestingly, Islamic scholars also view this time as prophetically important. The author of The Day of Wrath, Safar Ibn `Abd Al-Rahman Al-Hawali, writes at www.IslamicAwakening.com:

When Daniel specified the period between its distress and relief, between the era of anguish and the era of blessing, he put it as forty-five years! We have already seen that he specified the time of the establishment of the abomination of desolation as the year 1967, which is what in fact occurred. Therefore, the end—or the beginning of the end—will be 1967 + 45 = 2012.

The most remarkable connection between these dates is that the Maya themselves recognized a direct link between the number thirteen and the years 1776 and 2012 in cycles and illustrations in a way that academic Richard N. Luxton found to be similar to prophecies of the “Christian Last Judgment.” He translated and annotated The Book of Chumayel: The Counsel Book of the Yucatec Maya 1539–1638, and noted on katun 13 Ahau:

The dates that accompany the illustrations approximate real counts. Katun 13 Ahau ended in 1539 and began in the Colonial Count in 1776.… The traditional theme of agreement as the end of the eastern katun cycle in 13 Ahau is intermingled here with elements of the Christian Last Judgment. Whether this paradigm was also intended for the end of the Long Count in 2012 is open to question.

Religious ceremonies and prophecies accompanied Mayan katuns, and Luxton’s connection to the “Christian Last Judgment” and the thirteen katuns (a katun is approximately 19.7 years) between 1776 and 2012 is drawn from the prophecies of the Mayan prophet Chilam Balam. Written down in about the year 1595, the oracular Chilam Balam, or “jaguar” shaman, said the end of this period would witness the judgment of God in the form of social collapse, epidemics, plagues, and famine. The same period would see the coming of two great prophets, one after the other, according to the Mayan prophecy. Is this the False Prophet paving the way for the Antichrist?

It is no coincidence that the start and ending dates of the final thirteen katuns of the Mesoamerican Mayan Long Count calendar are reflected in the thirteen steps of the pyramid on the United States’ Great Seal. That the steps of the pyramid were intended to convey units of time has been an open secret for many years. Though he was not sure what to make of it himself, Paul Foster Case wrote many years ago that:

Since the date, 1776, is placed on the bottom course of the pyramid, and since the number thirteen has been so important in the symbolism of the seal, it is not unreasonable to suppose that the thirteen courses of the pyramid may represent thirteen time periods.

John Kehne made an even more intriguing observation, directly coupling the Great Seal’s trestleboard date, 1776, and the Mayan ending date 2012:

This Seal shows a thirteen-step pyramid with 1776 in Roman numerals.… [The year] 1776 was not only the year that the Declaration of Independence was signed, but was also a special year in the Mayan calendar. Just as the last katun in the Great Cycle is “katun 2012,” the first katun in the cycle of thirteen was “katun 1776.” In fact, the katun ended thirty-three days before the signing. So 1776 is the bottom level of the pyramid, where the date is actually inscribed—the top of the pyramid is therefore 2012.

As readers of my upcoming book will discover, early Freemasons and America’s founding fathers were very much aware of the significance of these dates—1776, 2012, and 2016 respectively—and while the thirteen steps of the unfinished pyramid on the Great Seal account for the timeframe 1776–2012 using the slightly less than twenty-year periods (19.7) of the katun, the Gregorian twenty-year cycle produces 1776–2016, both of which fit perfectly within the trestleboard dating on the U.S. Great Seal cipher and the first Masonic tracing board, as we will reveal.

MANLY P. HALL - THE GREAT SEAL

The Great Seal of the United States of America was designed by the Freemasons and contains a mass of symbolism that the profane (non masons) are not to understand. This article will once and for all prove that the Seal is a Masonic design. Have you ever asked the question 'Why is there a Pyramid on our $1 note"? The religion of Freemasonry and some of it's mysteries have descended from ancient Egypt whose mysteries descended from ancient Babylon. The Pyramid has of old been a fascination of Freemasons. It is a pagan temple of Satan worship. Aliester Crowley, Freemason and chief satanist of the 20th Century performed a satanic ritual in the Kings Chamber. The Masonic founded and controlled cults of the Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons have also adored the Great Pyramid.

First of all I will interpret the latin words on the seal. 'Annuit Coeptis' means 'Announcing The Birth Of' and 'Novus Ordo Seclorum' means 'New World Order'. So therefore it says 'Announcing the birth of the New World Order'. The date in roman numerals is 1776, the year the modern Illuminati was formed and also the year of American independence. The latin 'E Pluribus Unum' means 'One out of many' which is the foundation of the New World Order's plan to unify the world's governments, religions and money systems into one so the world can be controlled.

The capstone has not come down on the Pyramid. This means that the plan is not complete. Only when the New World Order is established upon all nations and the world leader is enthroned the plan will be complete. On the obverse is an eagle whose dexter wing has thirty- two feathers, the number of ordinary degrees in Scottish Rite Freemasonry. The sinister wing has thirty-three feathers, the additional feather corresponding to the Thirty-Third Degree of the Scottish Rite conferred for outstanding Masonic service. The tail feathers number nine, the number of degrees in the Chapter, Council, and Commandery of the York Rite of Freemasonry. Notice the stars above the eagle's head forms a hexagram the most evil of all witchcraft symbols.

Let us now go to Manly Palmer Hall, member of the Illuminati and 33rd Degree Freemason, called "the 20th century's greatest Masonic scholar and philosopher" by the Supreme Council of the 33rd Degree of Freemasonry's official monthly publication, the Scottish Rite Journal in the obituary section of August 1990.

Manly states:-

"European mysticism was not dead at the time the United States of America was founded. The hand of the mysteries controlled in the establishment of the new government for the signature of the mysteries may still be seen on the Great Seal of the United states of America. Careful analysis of the seal discloses a mass of occult and masonic symbols chief among them, the so-called American Eagle. ... the American eagle upon the Great Seal is but a conventionalised phoenix..."

"Not only were many of the founders of the United States government Masons, but they received aid from a secret and august body existing in Europe which helped them to establish this country for A PECULIAR AND PARTICULAR PURPOSE known only to the intiated few." The European group he is talking about is the Illuminati. They claimed America to establish the New World Order. This is the peculiar and particular purpose known only to certain high ranking freemasons.

There is a cry in Freemasonry today that the eye in the pyramid is not a Masonic symbol and it never was. At Masonicinfo there is a page which states "the eye in the pyramid is not now nor has it ever been a Masonic symbol." The author says that he has looked for 3 years for use of this symbol in Freemasonry and has only found 2 examples. I have been inside about 4 Masonic Lodges and 2 of them including the first I went to used the eye in the pyramid, the first one very prominently. So I know this to be Masonic lies. On another Masonic page entitled 'The Eye In The Pyramid' we read "The Great Seal of the United States is not a Masonic emblem, nor does it contain hidden Masonic symbols." Remember the quote above by one of Freemasonry's highly esteemed men stating it "discloses a mass of occult and masonic symbols..." Who are we to believe, Freemasonry's GREATEST scholar and philosopher or some other man in Freemasonry with no such credentials. Let me once and for all establish the eye in the pyramid is Masonic. The image below is taken from 'The New Age' magazine which was the official publication of the Supreme Council of the 33rd Degree of Freemasonry, the most powerful Masonic organization in the America if not the world. It is now called the 'Scottish Rite Journal'. It is from April 1960 and it clearly states that the $1 note is covered in Masonic symbols and it also states "Pyramid with the Masonic All Seeing Eye"

The three stars around the Masonic eye represent the satanic trinity composed of Satan/Lucifer, the Antichrist (the future World leader) and the False Prophet (leader of World Religion. Notice as the eagle's shield is positioned in the corner of the pyramid the tip of his wing ends precisely at the end of the illumined light. This shows a very careful design. Brace yourself as the image below is where the skeletons come out of the Masonic closet.

The symbolism in the above image is incredible. The eye has come down on the pyramid which means the New World Order domination of the entire world is completed. The pyramid becomes a winged symbol which is Masonic as I will document at a later date. The most disturbing thing is that the Masonic eye is coming out of the eagle's eye. Bible prophecy states that the New World Order of the Antichrist will be a revived Roman empire. Taking into account that the symbol of the Roman empire was an eagle, we have the Masonic New World Order coming out of the old Roman order thus in fufillment of Bible prophecy. It was a password protected page and I got a professional hacker to check what sort of security it had to try and figure out if the site was serious and had hidden away all sorts of information. The hacker told me it was a well secured site. The thing that is significent to mention this page which no longer exists, at least not at that address which is so easy to find, is the main logo. Look below.

This is proof that Freemasonry today is in the know about the hidden symbolism in the Great Seal. Who knows what was going on at this password protected page. Was it Illuminati Freemasons plotting to establish the New World Order? Anyone with information please email me.

I. Introduction

The essence of the Third Secret of Fatima is that Satan has entered the Catholic Church, bringing with him agents to occupy highest positions in the Church. Here are the revelations by the Blessed Virgin Mary and Our Lord Jesus Christ through Veronica Lueken as a voice box:

This Masonic infiltration, in the interior of the Church, was already foretold to you by me at Fatima, when I announced to you that Satan would enter in even to the summit of the Church. If the task of Masonry is to lead souls to perdition, bringing them to the worship of false divinities, the task of ecclesiastical Masonry on the other hand is that of destroying Christ and his Church, building a new idol, namely a false christ and a false church." This is the prediction of a combined forces of Communists and Masons gradually taking control of the Church and ultimately succeeding in installing an Anti-Pope who will be a henchman of the coming Anti-Christ. Then, it will be the completion of the mystery of iniquity.

In this article we present some concrete evidence of the infiltration of Masons into highest levels of the Church except the Papal throne (so far, not yet). Virtually in all messages to true seers throughout the world, Pope John Paul II has been called "The Pope chosen by God." Our Lady calls him "He is my Pope" "The Pope of my light" (To the Priests, Our Lady's Beloved Sons, No. 359, August 13, 1987, p. 564) and She asks all the Priests to support him and defend him (To the Priests, Our Lady's Beloved Sons, No. 162, October 17, 1978, p. 225.) Our Lord in December 6, 1996 Message given to John Leary called him "My Pope":

Jesus said: "My people, I have sent you Pope John Paul II as the pope for the end times. He represents Me on earth and he is living the message to go out aud teach all nations. His faith is strong and resolute as the Holy Spirit guides what he is to say. He is My authority on earth and he guides My Church on the right path. Some have hesitated to recognize him as that authority, since they wish to follow their own agenda, which is not always in conformity with Church teachings. I tell you, My pope is following My Will for you and you should listen and follow what he tells you. Many want to change the traditions of the Church, but you should not listen to those who believe only in change for its own sake. My words are forever, and should not be changed or misinterpreted. Let Me guide you on your path to heaven, and do not waver by listening to today's false witnesses." (John Leary, Prepare for the Great Tribulation and the Era of Peace, Vol. 5, 1997.)

Our Lady has warned repeatedly on the assassination attempts against Pope John Paul II. She said:

"As I directed you before, Lucifer seeks to remove your Vicar, so that the Chair of Peter will be empty. Confusion then will abound ... And then, without your prayers and acts of penance, will come ... the end!" Our Lady through Veronica Lueken, October 2, 1979.)
"Unless you pray for your Vicar Pope John Paul II, he will be removed from among you. And if this takes place, there will be far worse sacrilege committed in the city of Rome and the parishes throughout the world ... When Pope John Paul II is removed, the Church shall be divided among itself. United it will stand, divided it will fall." ( Our Lady through Veronica Lueken, March 18, 1983.)

The Papacy has been an obstacle for the election of the Anti-Pope. Thus, Lucifer wants to remove Pope John Paul II from the Papal throne before the Anti-Christ can be revealed. This is indicated by 2 Thessalonians 2: 3-10:

"For unless there come a revolt first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, who opposeth, and is lifted up above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself as if he were God. Remember you not, that when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now you know what withholdeth, that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of the iniquity already worked: only that he who holdeth, do hold, until he be taken out of the way. And then that wicked one shall be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus shall kill with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: him, whose coming is according to the working of satan, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders, and in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish: because they receive not the love of the truth that might be saved."

II. Masons in the Catholic Church

Masonry undermines all religion. Numerous Popes have spoken and written about the great evils of this secretive and infiltrative organization. In this article, we present our third exposé on Masonry and Freemasonry in an effort to alert the Faithful to a sobering fact: Masonry has entered the Church; or as Pope Paul VI himself said: "The smoke of Satan has entered the Church." We make no claim to be the authors of the information below. Rather, we have collected it from books and other reliable sources, all of which we give credit to accordingly. The reader is free to draw his own conclusions.

We begin with an excerpt from Humanum Genus, Pope Leo XIII's Encyclical on Freemasonry:

"If other proofs are wanting, this fact would be sufficiently disclosed by the testimony of men well informed, of whom some at other times, and others again recently, have declared it to be true of the Freemasons that they especially desire to assail the Church with irreconcilable hostility and that they will never rest until they have destroyed whatever the Supreme Pontiffs have established for the sake of religion.
"If those who are admitted as members are not commanded to abjure by any form of words the Catholic doctrines, this omission, so far from adverse to the designs of the Freemasons, is more useful for their purposes. First, in this way they easily deceive the simple-minded and the heedless, and can induce a far greater number to become members. Again, as all who offer themselves are received whatever may be their form of religion, they thereby teach the great error of this age -- that a regard for religion should be held as an indifferent matter, and that all religions are alike. This manner of reasoning is calculated to bring about the ruin of all forms of religion, and especially of the Catholic religion, which, as it is the only one that is true, cannot, without great injustice, be regarded as merely equal to other religions."

Anne Catherine Emmerich (1774-1824), a German Augustinian nun, stigmatist (bore the wounds of Christ), and miracle-worker, who subsisted entirely on water and Holy Communion for many years, received numerous visions of the future crisis in the Church and the infiltration of the Masons. In her visions, she describes men in aprons destroying the Church with a trowel, The Masons wear aprons and their symbol is the Mason's trowel. The following excerpts are from page 565 of Life of Anne Catherine Emmerich, Vol. 1, by Rev. K.E. Schmö:ger, Tan Books, 1976:

"I saw St. Peter's. A great crowd of men was trying to pull it down whilst others constantly built it up again. Lines connected these men one with another and with others throughout the whole world. I was amazed at their perfect understanding.
"The demolishers, mostly apostates and members of different sects, broke off whole pieces and worked according to rules and instructions. They wore WHITE APRONS bound with blue riband. In them were pockets and they had TROWELS stuck in their belts. The costumes of the others were various.
"There were among the demolishers distinguished men wearing uniforms and crosses. They did not work themselves but they marked out on the wall with a TROWEL where and how it should be torn down. To my horror, I saw among them Catholic Priests. Whenever the workmen did not know how to go on, they went to a certain one in their party. He had a large book which seemed to contain the whole plan of the building and the way to destroy it. They marked out exactly with a TROWEL the parts to be attacked, and they soon came down. They worked quietly and confidently, but slyly, furtively and warily. I saw the Pope praying, surrounded by false friends who often did the very opposite to what he had ordered..."

I went outside from the kitchen door over to the barn, and just outside the door where there was sand and gravel, I noticed a hole going down. As I watched I could see that there was sand and gravel going down into the hole the the hole was getting bigger.

I went into the house and told my mother that there was a hole out there and she informed me that there was a hollow beneath that area and to be careful.

I went back outside to the barn and the hole was larger now, and as I watched, the hole became ominously larger.

I started to run for the house with the hole growing at an alarming rate behind me and as I ran into the house, the hole grew as fasst as I was running and by the time I got into the kitchen, the hole was following me and part of the kitchen floor was falling down into the hole as well.

I screamed as loud as I could to , "Get out of the house, Ger out of the house." as I ran toward the stairs to get my Mother and the children out.

When I reached the bottom of the stairs, I realized it was 3:30 p.m. and looked up towards where the children were, and they were wearing costumes of gold and green like pajamas, but they had gold rimmed green pointed hats on their heads as well.

End of the Great Cycle (Fin de los Tiempos) in the Mayan Long Calendar and the Popol Vuh

Los Angeles, Alta California - April 4, 2005 - (ACN) The coming Vatican Conclave to select the next "Vicar of Christ" may be the last according to religious sources knowledgeable in Biblical Prophecy, in Roman Catholic Church history and in the Indigenous traditions of the Americas. Information synthesised from Revelation and the Gospels in the New Testament, from Daniel in the Old Testament and from the Mayan Popol Vuh points to a coming cataclysmic event and the beginning of a totally new Era for mankind. This cataclysmic event (Fin de los Tiempos) will occur, according to the Mayan Long Calendar, on December 21, 2012 when the Earth and Sun align with the center of our Milky Way galaxy.

Biblical prophets as well as Catholic and other Christian scholars have for a long time written about the "End Times" and the second coming of Jesus Christ (Quetzalcoatl) to establish the New Jerusalem. What is not generally known is that many of the Old and New Testament Biblical prophecies of the "End Times" correlate amazingly with the religious beliefs of the Mayas and other Indigenous civilizations of the Western Hemisphere. These similarities are more apparent when one analyses the "End Times" account of St. John in the last chapter of the Bible called Revelation and the account of the "Fin de los Tiempos" in the Popol Vuh which is considered to be the Mayan (as well as the Mexica/Aztec) Bible.

One of the best known Catholic prophets to predict that the Pope after John Paul II would be the last was Irishman Maelmhaedhoc O'Morgair who is better known as simply St. Malachy. According to the prophecies of St. Malachy, who was born in 1094, the line of Pontiffs has come to an end. St. Malachy, canonized by by Pope Clement III on July 6, 1199, undertook to list in advance the proper succession of Roman pontiffs from Celestine II to "the end of the world". St. Malachy prophesied that there would be 112 Popes after Celestine II. John Paul II, who just died, is number 110. Pope number 111 would be the "False Prophet" mentioned in St. John's Revelation and who will deliver the Roman Catholic Church to Satan. Number 112 will NOT be a legitimate Pope. It will be the "Grand Anti-Pope" or the Anti-Christ who is also known as the "Abomination that Causes Desolation" mentioned in Daniel 9:27, 11:31, 12:11 and Matthew 24:15 and Mark 13:14. The Prophecies of St. Malachy conclude thusly: "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock among many tribulations; after which the seven hilled city (Rome) will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people".

Among other Catholic prophets and scholars that have written on the end of the Roman Catholic Church and its Popes are Jesuit priests Malachi Martin and Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. Another scholar is Fr. John F. O'Connor. Fr. O'Connor has articulated a series of speeches, very much worth listening to as the College of Cardinals elect the next pope, that perfectly outlines the final onslaught on the Roman Catholic Church by "Judeo-Masonic Conspirators" that culminates in the "end of this world" as prophesied in the Bible. Among the most enlightening of Fr. John F. O'Connor's speeches on the subject is one titled "Reign of the False Prophet" that refers to the next Pope.

Fr. Malachi Martin was an eminent theologian and expert in the Catholic Church who wrote that the apostasy of the Roman Catholic Church is a precondition for the end of time, as we presently know it, and for the second coming of Jesus Christ. Fr. Malachi Martin served in the Vatican from 1958 to 1964 where he was a close associate of Pope John XXIII. In 1990, Fr. Martin wrote, "The cultic acts of Satanic pedophilia in the Catholic Church are considered by professionals to be the culmination of the rites of 'The Enthronement of the Fallen Archangel Lucifer' in the Vatican". Fr. Martin believed that the Vatican had finally been, after centuries long efforts, infiltrated, at the highest levels, by Satanists in league with Zionists and what he called the "Universal Assembly" that consists of a Masonic group of Western plutocrats and the Illuminati.

Fr. Malachi Martin wrote six years before the shameful pedophilia and homosexual scandal among the Catholic Clergy became widely known, "Suddenly it became unarguable that now during this papacy (1996), the Roman Catholic organization carried a permanent presence of clerics who worshipped Satan and liked it; of bishops and priests who sodomized boys and each other; of nuns who performed the "Black Rites" of Wicca, and who lived in lesbian relationships . . . every day, including Sundays and Holy Days, acts of heresy and blasphemy and outrage and indifference were committed and permitted at holy Altars by men who had been called to be priests. Sacrilegious actions and rites were not only performed on Christ's Altars, but had the connivance or at least the tacit permission of certain Cardinals, archbishops, and bishops. . . ".

Satanism, pedophilia and homosexuality now permeates every Catholic Parish and especially in the USA. Many a Bishop and Cardinal has either joined or has protected the "Luciferians" in their midst. The USA Catholic Church has now paid out billions of dollars to legally settle court cases involving child sexual abuse by sodomite priests. Tens of thousands of children have been raped at the altars and inside "confessional rooms". In the Boston Archdiocese alone 65 parishes had to close in order to raise the money necessary to pay court settlements resulting from the homosexual abuse of children by scores of perverted "Luciferian" sodomite Catholic priests. One case alone involved more than 500 child victims and a mandated court settlement of over $85 million dollars.

Just before his death, that occurred under very suspicious circumstances, Fr. Martin said that soon after the installation of Pope Paul VI in 1963, Vatican Satanists clandestinely installed "Lucifer" in a secret ceremony called "The Enthronement of the Fallen Archangel Lucifer". The ceremony was conducted at the St. Paul's Chapel located within the Vatican. Pope Paul VI later wrote that "the smoke of Satan has entered the Sanctuary". As the red robed Cardinals arrive in Rome to elect Pope John Paul II's successor, one can only wonder how many of these are Luciferians and who among them they will choose to be "The False Prophet" who will deceive and deliver many in the "Catholic flock" into the jaws of "The Beast".

Fr. John F. O'Connor is another of the few within the Catholic clergy that has spoken out against the Luciferian Judeo-Masonic conspiracy to destroy the Roman Catholic Church from within. Still alive, he often speaks on the Last Days, The False Prophet and on The Anti-Christ. Fr. O'Connor speaks principally on Lucifer and how he has waged war against the "Kingdom of God" and the Catholic Church for 2,000 years and how his disciples through membership in Masonry, Freemasonry and the Illuminati devised a plan called "Alta Vendetta" that is designed to take control of the Papacy.

Fr. O'Connor also spoke (prophesied?) about how these Luciferians would send missiles to destroy the U.S. (911) in the coming Third World War and about the Federal Reserve Bank and has questioned where the money goes that is paid for the interest on the USA national debt. He has also spoken extensively on how "The False Prophet" ( the next Pope) will deceive Catholics into worshiping the Anti-Christ. Fr. O'Connor says that Lucifer will even double-cross and fool nations and his own agents, dupes, stooges and lackeys. He has outlined the many things that Lucifer has already in place including the control of many Catholic seminaries and how he gives greater power to those who commit greater sins.

Fr. John F. O'Connor says that every day the news media carries stories of homosexuals and lesbians attempting to change America through indoctrination, legislation, infiltration and intimidation. Fr. O'Connor begins his speeches by telling us that the signs that will precede the second coming of Christ will be identified by unprecedented wars, revolution, drought, famine, pestilence, plagues of the most hideous kinds, earthquakes, tsunamis, violence, death and especially crime and sin unparalleled in human history, and that Christ warned us that in those days sin and evil will abound in the world and that the love of truth will grow cold. In the mid-fifties, Pope Pius XII said that there was more sin being committed then than at any other time in human history, even before the Great Flood. This statement was made before today's rampant homosexuality and child abuse.

This second coming of Christ is at the end of the world after the reign of the Anti-Christ, and if the end of the world is near, the reign of the Anti-Christ is even nearer ( not long after the election of this next Pope). Scripture tells us that the Anti-Christ will be accepted by the Talmudic Jews as their Messiah. The Talmudic Jews (mostly Kazhars) are "Lucifer's Chosen People" as opposed to the Torah Jews who are the ancient Hebrews and followers of Moses. According to St. John, author of Revelation, there is to be a final battle with Lucifer in a confrontation with a "Woman Clothed with the Sun and with the Moon under Feet" that perfectly fits the description of the "Santisima Virgen de Guadalupe, La Reina de Mexico y Emperatriz de las Americas (Tecuauhtlacuepeuh )" as she appeared to St. Juan Diego (Cuauhtlatoahtzin ) at Tepeyac.

As we witness the election of the next Pope by the College of Cardinals in Rome, we should contemplate who the Luciferian Judeo-Masonic infiltrators may be. There is no doubt among enlighten people in the world and in the USA that there is a certain malignant force controlling the U.S. and that is casting its shadow across the world. Who are these modern day Pharisees? They are of course the haters of God, haters of what is good and moral and most of all they are the haters of truth. They are the followers of the "Great Deceiver" and the greatest liar of them all . . . Lucifer. You can spot them easily by their actions which most of the time have no correlation to what they preach. They are those in high places who justify murderous international wars for profit with lies and deception. They are the international money lenders that "suck the life" of poor nations. They are those who profit from pornography on the Internet and sale of useless and many times dangerous and addictive drugs and pharmaceuticals. Today these modern day Pharisees are organized in groups like the Illuminati and Skull and Bones. The Illuminati and Freemasons were funded by the Jewish "Rothschild Banking Dynasty" for the sole purpose of undermining Christianity.

Jesus Christ himself reviled the Pharisees as "hypocrites" and a "generation of vipers." Jesus accused the Pharisees of worshipping the devil. He said to the Pharisees "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do." (John 8:44). This is the reason why today the Talmudic Jews promote the sodomite agenda, lesbianism and the removal of God from the Pledge of Allegiance. Their master plan to take over the world and enthrone Lucifer as their King is outlined in a diabolical document known as "The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion" and which was explained by the great USA automobile industrialist Henry Ford in his book titled, "The International Jew".

Christians must be careful not to condemn all Jews for certain sinister activities that have brought so much suffering and misery to the world. There are essentially two types of Jews, "those who follow the Torah" and "those who follow the Luciferian Talmud". Babylonian Talmudic Pharisaism is paganism, pantheistic atheism, and a conglomeration of all the forms of idolatry concocted through the centuries. It is essentially pure Satanism. The Talmud is characterized by obscenity. It sets laws for the purpose of inventing circumventions and evasions and delights in sadistic cruelty. In reality it reverses most Biblical (Mosaic) moral teachings on theft, murder, sodomy, perjury, treatment of children, parents and teaches a hatred of Christ, Christians and every aspect of Christianity. Phariseeism is based on the Luciferian Talmud, which consists of the interpretations of so called sages during the Babylonian exile of the Jews that begin around 589 BC. Generally, the Talmudists contradict the spirit of Moses. They place the Talmud over the Torah and is one of the causes of antisemitism. The Talmudic Jews worship the god Mammon. Mammon is the god of "money", "greed" and "usury" and one of the many manifestation of Lucifer. Lucifer was enthroned through a Black Mass inside the Vatican in 1963 by modern day Pharisees or Judeo-Masonic infiltrators according to Jesuit Priest Malachi Martin. Lucifer today waits in the defiled halls and chambers of the Vatican to preside over the Final Conclave that will elect the "False Prophet" who in turn will prepare the ground for the Anti-Christ.

There are parallels to the above scenario in the Mayan Popol Vuh and in certain Indigenous religious beliefs. It seems that the "Fin de los Tiempos" as outlined in the Mayan Long Calendar and the "End Times" outlined in Revelation of the Bible are converging on a certain date. This date is December 21, 2012 when, according to the Mayas, time as we know it ends and mankind enters into a totally different Era of elevated consciousness. Will enlightened human beings enter the "New Jerusalem" on December 21, 2012 as promised in the New Testament? Current world events, the state of moral decadence and decay in the world and especially in the USA, increasing earthquakes and tempestuous weather changes as well as horrific pestilences such as AIDS and Mad Cow Disease certainly qualify as the preconditions that the New Testament sets for the end to occur. The year 2012 is less than 7 years away. Seven years is a reasonable time for the "False Prophet" in the Vatican to prepare the ground for the Anti-Christ.

The Mayas were a mysterious and much advanced people who were superb mathematicians and astronomers. They devised one of the most accurate calendars known to man, far more accurate than the modern Gregorian calendar. Their calendar was created through extremely accurate observations of the sun, the planets, the stars and our own Milky Way Galaxy. They knew, through unknown methods, the exact location of the center of the Milky Way and attached great significance to the birth and death of stars at this center. They also possessed extensive knowledge concerning the "Precession of the Equinoxes" and their periodicity which was necessary to create an accurate calendar and other time keeping devices. The Mayas viewed time differently than western man. Their magnificent pyramids were perfectly aligned to the sun and were constructed in such a way that during the equinoxes, the setting sun casts a shadow of a serpent (Kukulcan/Quetzalcoatl) descending on the northern steps of the pyramid. This effect could only be obtained by precise architectural and astronomical measurements and is most evident at the pyramid in Chichenitza.

The Maya's astronomical knowledge was inherited from even an older and more mysterious civilization at Teotihuacan which contains the famous Pyramid of the Sun and of the Moon. The Pyramid of the Sun is perfectly aligned with the star cluster called the Pleiades which the Egyptians also took into account in building their pyramids at Giza. There is a connection between the ancient religious beliefs of the Sumerians, the Egyptians and the Mayas, especially as they relate to the creation of the universe, of the human race and of the future.

The Mayas approached "prophecy" by deeply studying the periodicity of cycles, especially astronomical ones. They were also deeply spiritual and very aware of the role that human consciousness plays in extracting information from nature. They knew that ingesting certain plants, religiously and with reverence, would open the doors of perception and lift the veil that keeps mankind from seeing certain realities and communicating with God. This knowledge must explain how they were able to ascertain what will happen on December 21, 2012. Incredibly, they knew, over a thousand years ago, that on this date there will be an astronomical alignment of our sun and the center of the Milky Way. This impending alignment of the sun at that very point, according to Mayan calculations, culminates at the winter solstice of December 21, 2012. Just recently astronomers have discovered that at this precise point there exists an immense "Black Hole" that is radiating high-energy gamma rays. The Journal of Astronomy and Astrophysics states that the observations were carried out using the High Energy Stereoscopic System (H.E.S.S.) which is an array of four telescopes, in Namibia, Africa. "The Galactic Centre harbours a number of potential gamma-ray sources, including a supermassive black hole, remnants of supernova explosions and possibly an accumulation of exotic 'dark matter' particles", the journal states.
The Mayas had a glyph that represented a "black hole" in the center of our galaxy. How they were able to know this, no one knows. The Mayas tied their philosophy entirely on what they observed in the heavens. They thought that the center of our galaxy was a "Cosmic Mother Womb" and that it gave birth to our world. They believed that our world went through cycles of birth, death and rebirth. December 21, 2012 will end the cycle and our world will end by fire but will be reborn in a new, different and more evolved form, possibly in the form of a "New Jerusalem" that is described in Revelation. This will be the beginning of a new sun or the "Sixth Sun" according to the Mexicas (Aztecs).

Pope John Paul II will be buried on Friday. Soon after the burial, the College of Cardinals will convene in what is believed to be the "Last Conclave". Which Cardinal will become the "False Prophet" that will usher in the Anti-Christ? We will know in about 20 days or less after which we will be in for a tumultuous seven years!

David Ovason, zodiacs and Washington, DC

David Ovason cannot be labeled an anti-mason. In fact he is careful to disassociate himself from those who hold a negative opinion of Freemasonry and has, since publishing this book, become a freemason. But he is an astrologer by trade and inclination, and his perspective is strongly influenced by his own beliefs. This leads him to conclusions about Freemasonry and freemasons that are not contained within the rituals and teachings of Freemasonry. Unfortunately a number of his unsubstantiated claims can be used by those who do wish to condemn Freemasonry. For that reason a brief overview of his book is included here.

He peppers his claims with such expressions as: "one suspects," "I feel," "my impression," "it is clear," "cannot be without significance," "dare we ask," "without doubt," "it is my guess," "it is quite evident," "I am left with the conviction" and a litany of would have, could have, must have beens. But no documented proof.

Ovason’s premise, if not belief, is that Pierre Charles L'Enfant (b. 1754/08/02, d. 1825/06/14) and Major Ellicott (b. 1754/01/24, d. 1820) intended Pennsylvania Avenue to provide a view of the setting sun from the Capitol building annually on August 10th. The reason for this was because on that day the sun is in 17 degrees of Leo and the star Regalus sets over the White House just over half an hour after sunset, leaving the stars "Spica, in Virgo, and Arcturus in Bootes." "They are the three stars which Masons such as Pike and Brunet recognized as enclosing the constellation of Virgo." [p. 346] This, he asserts, proves "the city was intended to celebrate the mystery of Virgo — of the Egyptian Isis, the Grecian Ceres and the Christian Virgin." [p. 349]

Ovason asserts his belief that Freemasonry is replete with astrological lore spilling into the cornerstone rituals and implies without proof or documentation that astrology charts were consulted before setting the several dates for cornerstone laying ceremonies. Yet he has to admit, "the zodiac appears in Masonic symbolism with surprising infrequency." [p. 171]

Although he admits that "not a single documented horoscope has survived from this early period" [p. 381], he goes on to cast horoscopes for the dates of a number of cornerstone dedications and believes, from their similarity, that they prove that the dates must have been originally decided on by casting horoscopes. Ovason presumes to know the minds of the city planners and claims that they were esotericists who believed that the physical representations of symbols contained real power.

Ovason poses the question, "...can it be true that such esoteric bodies as the Masons regard these ancient gods and goddesses of the steller pantheon as living beings, with the power to exude benefices and virues on certain parts of the Earth?" [p. 168-69] He doesn't answer the question, but in context it can be viewed as rhetorical, and misleading.

Later he writes: "By means of the Masonic art, appropriate spiritual beings could be invited to participate in the life of a building or city with extreme precision." [p. 374] Although in context he refers to mediaeval stonemasons, the implication could be that this is a current belief.

He disavows any overtly Masonic influence: "I am not suggesting for one moment that it was 'the Masons who built Washington DC', or that Masons' Lodges ever had a coordinated, formulated plan to influence the growth of the city in any way." [p. 355] But much is made of the real and imagined Masonic membership of the city’s planners and architects, and much is made of an assumed Masonic significance to symbols found in the architecture of the city’s buildings.

Of L'Enfant, he claims proof of him "...almost certainly being a Mason" [p. 45] and later claims "What is not so well known, because it has only recently come to light, is that L'Enfant, who is reputed to have been the original designer of Washington DC, was probably a Mason." [p. 336]. He repeats this later: "It is very likely that L'Enfant was a Mason" [p. 405]. Then, in an endnote, he reveals: "The discovery of the manuscript revealing this information has not yet been reported in the Masonic literature, consequently I do not feel free to reveal the source of this information, which came to me by way of private conversation." [p. 456 n58].

Ovason claims that Ellicott was "now revealed in the ritual as a Masonic brother of George Washington...." [p. 47] and later asserts: "Perhaps this tie [to Washington and Franklin] was strengthened by communal Masonic interests" [p. 44], and reasserts his claim that "Even the man who drew the version of the map on which the painted map [the 1793 oil painting Washington Family by Edward Savage] was based — Andrew Ellicott — was a Mason." [p. 336] No documentation is cited.

He admits in an endnote: "Although I do not doubt that Ellicott was a Mason, I have not been able to discover to which Lodge he belonged." [p. 456 n59]

The only documentation associating Ellicott with the freemasons appeared shortly after Elisha Cullen Dick, Master of Alexandria Lodge No. 22, dedicated the cornerstone marker at Jones Point on April 15, 1791.

Ovason quotes an unidentified newspaper account "published 13 days afterwards" [p. 48] may possibly have been Dunlop’s American Daily Advertisor, Philadelphia 28 April 1791, but the endnotes [p. 406] are unclear:

...Stewart [sic] at his right, and the Rev. James Muir at his left, followed by the rest of the fraternity, in their usual form of procession, — a lastly, the citizens, two by two.

When Mr. Ellicott had ascertained the precise point from which the first line of the district was to proceed, the Master of the Lodge and Dr. Stewart, affiated by others of their brethren, placed the Stone ; after which a deposit of corn, wine and oil was made upon it, and the following observations were delivered by the Rev. James Muir: "Of America it may be said, as it was of Judea of old, that it is a good land, and....

History of the Grand Lodge and of Freemasonry in the District of Columbia. p. 1. What Ovason omits is the beginning half of the paragraph which details the order of the parade, placing "Mr. Ellicott and the Recorder" in the third row, several rows ahead of the Master of Alexandria-Washington Lodge No. 22 of Alexandria, Virginia, and the procession of Freemasons.¹

This press clipping does not identify Ellicott as a freemason. Note that Ellicott came from a long line of Quakers [p. 355] who do not approve of Freemasonry.

Ovason mentions several key figures in the construction of the city’s architecture such as John Lenthall—"in charge of the construction of the US Capitol" [p. 2]; Franklin Webster Smith (b. 1826c) , — whose "highly original architectural ideas would help revolutionize the appearance of the city." [p. 4] ; self-taught mathematician and astronomer Benjamin Banneker--who "worked on the project for only a few months: it seems that his age told against him..." [p. 6]; and influential architect Adulf Cluss who, moving to the USA in 1845 from Germany, designed the Smithsonian’s first separate museum in 1881 [p. 14], designed vaulted culverts on Tiber Creek, and oversaw the paving of avenues and planting of trees. [p. 400] He doesn't claim they were freemasons.

Ovason notes that the following were freemasons but fails to demonstrate what significance their membership might have to his main premise.

Ovason refers to a number of men as freemasons without citation. Robert Mills, architect of the Washington Monument and Thomas Lincoln Casey, Chief of Engineers, astronomer, architect of Washington Monument and in charge of construction of the new Library of Congress is referred to as freemason without citation. The same for astronomer, Simon Newcomb (1835-1909) and architect, Charles Bulfinch. [p. 218] Denslow makes no mention of Casey or Bulfinch but notes that there is no evidence that Mills was a freemason.

Although Lieutenant Commander Henry Honeyman Gorringe [1841-1885] was a freemason, Lieutenant Richard Loveridge Hoxie is also claimed to be a freemason without citation. Gorringe transported an ancient egyptian obelisk from Egypt to New York in 1881. Of the inscriptions found under the obelisk, "...Pike came to the conclusion that they did not bear any resemblance to symbols used in Freemasonry." [p. 32] Hoxie (d. April 1930) undertook the building of underground aquaducts. [p. 37]

[John Quincy Adams] "Ward [sculptor of Garfields' memorial statue] had been a personal friend of Garfield, and was almost certainly a Mason, although I have not been able to identify his Lodge." [p. 435]

Architect Arthur Brown is defined as a freemason because the sculptor of a statuary on the Departmental Auditorium used his face in a representation of freemason Nathanael Greene. "This implies that Brown is revealed as a Mason." [p. 302]

Interestingly enough, John Russell Pope, the architect of the House of the Temple 1733 16th street, [old temple at 433 3rd street NW - p. 320] was not a freemason [p. 223] His design was submitted 6 May 1911.

Ovason is convinced that it was "Ellicott who laid out the important direction of Pennsylvania Avenue." [p. 382] The second map published on March 1792 was amended by Ellicott from L'Enfant’s original August 1791 map, changing the angles of avenues and location of squares and circles to accomodate topographical requirements [p. 59]

L"Enfant’s plan had been for 15 radial avenues, one for each state. The three commissioners determined the name of the city and that the grid streets be numbered and lettered. [p. 60] Ovason notes that city commissioners Daniel Carroll and Dr. David Stuart were freemasons [p. 406] while the third commissioner, Thomas Johnson, was not.

Ovason makes a number of errors about Freemasonry. He claims that the Year of Masonry is "symbolically denoting the era following the supposed foundation of the Temple of Solomon [p. 76] but later correctly notes the abbreviation A.L. refers to a creation date. The many assertians of the masonic significance of pyramids ignore the complete lack of references in masonic ritual. He perpetuates the myth that "higher degrees" are somehow more powerful or important than the Craft degrees. [p. 171]

He appears unaware of the actual masonic significance of a sheaf of corn or wheat but sees references to the goddess Virgo in almost every architectural representation of agriculture or industry.

Ovason defines this Virgo as the "Beautiful Virgin" in masonic iconography. He cites several illustrations of Time and the Virgin, the monument to a Master Mason, as proof that this is a key symbol or metaphor in Freemasonry, again while ignoring the complete lack of usage in masonic ritual. This leads to Ovason’s claim of a masonic significance for the virgo star-goddess without citing any reference to ritual or lectures. He claims that "Freemasons insist on calling [it] the Problem of Euclid" [p. 300] when in fact most masonic literature and ritual refers to Euclid’s 47th proposition. Equating the cornerstone laying ceremony with a banishing ritual [p. 89], and the blazing star with Sirius, Anubis, the dog star [p. 118] is simply specious.

Ovason’s theory stands or falls on the assumptions that L'Enfant and Ellicott were freemasons, that freemasons held similar views about astrology that he does, and that Freemasonry places any significance in Virgo. All his assumptions are unproven and his theory fails to pass any reasonable examination.

UFO’S: PRELUDE TO INVASION BY NEW AGE DEITY?

Although I disagree with his eschatology on the rapture, this is still an interesting article by Tom Horn of Raiders News Network.

When news came across the wire recently that police officers in several Illinois counties witnessed an unidentified flying object the size of a three-story house, and that one of them had snapped a Polaroid of the triangular object, I sat up an took notice. Unlike many UFO buffs, law enforcement personnel are credible, trained observers. The FBI and the National Institute for Discovery Science are following up on the as yet undetermined phenomenon.

As a Christian researcher and author of two books on the New Age, I find the increasing regularity of UFO sightings prophetically intriguing. This is because a growing doctrine within the New Age Movement claims that the gods of mythology and the human race as we know it today, is the direct result of extra-terrestrial “UFO” activity.

In the introduction to his best selling book, Chariots of the Gods, Erich von Daniken, who, it might be argued, is one of the fathers of the New Age Movement as it relates to ufology, said:

I claim that our forefathers received visits from the universe in the remote past, even though I do not yet know who these extra-terrestrial intelligences were or from which planet they came. I nevertheless proclaim that these “strangers” annihilated part of mankind existing at the time and produced a new, perhaps the first, homo sapiens.

As was illustrated in the Hollywood films Contact, and Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, Erich von Daniken’s hypothesis took America by storm in the 1960’s with the proposition that mankind was possibly the offspring of an ancient, perhaps ongoing, extra-terrestrial experiment. New Age ufologists like Daniken also see the gods of mythology as evidence of, and a reaction to, an encounter with other worldly beings. They claim that ancient men would have considered space travelers as gods and would have recorded their arrival, their experiments, and their departure, in hieroglyphs, megaliths, and stone tablets, as a “supernatural” encounter between gods and men.

Mr. Daniken continues:

While [the] spaceship disappears again into the mists of the universe our friends will talk about the miracle–”The gods were here!” They will make a record of what happened: uncanny, weird, miraculous. Then their texts will relate–and drawings will show–that gods in golden clothes were there in a flying boat that landed with a tremendous din. They will write about chariots which the gods drove over land and sea, and of terrifying weapons that were like lightning, and they will recount that the gods promised to return. They will hammer and chisel in the rock pictures of what they had seen.

Von Daniken speculates that the odd appearance of some of the gods depicted in various hieroglyphs (human like creatures with falcon heads; lions with heads of bulls, etc.) could be viewed as evidence that “aliens” conducted experiments of cloning and cross mutating both ancient people and animals. Some people accept this part of Daniken’s hypothesis as a humanistic alternative to the Biblical account of creation. It’s uncertain how many people believe such a theory, but a full eighty percent of Americans claim they believe in the possibility of extra-terrestrial life. Some, like the 39 members of the Heaven’s Gate cult that committed suicide in Rancho Santa Fe, California and believed they were being summoned by a UFO trailing the Hale-Bopp Comet, subscribe to an eerie amalgam of mysticism and conventional religion. Not suprisingly, the growing interest in UFOs and the paranormal has given birth to a host of popular television specials and weekly programs depicting such other world creatures and those who claim to have encountered them.

One of the more disturbing aspects of UFO phenomena are the reports, which continue to come in from around the world, of nighttime abductions by small wide-eyed creatures who supposedly pilot UFOs and conduct various medical experiments on their abductees. The New Age Movement argues that such activity would be proof of an ongoing experiment between humans and aliens, and they note that the radical aspects of such experiments have included impregnating abductees and later returning to remove the hybrid embryos.

THE HISTORICAL RECORD

Scripture and extra biblical legends tell of a visitation of the earth by heavenly beings. Some of the references include:

The Egyptian people originally migrated from the biblical land of Shin’ar, also known as the Land of the Watchers (one of the ancient names of the mysterious visitors). The Egyptians called it Ta Neter–The Land of the Watchers “from which the gods came into Egypt.”

The Sumerian scribes referred to the watchers as Anunnaki, which, they said, “came from Nibiru” to judge/rule the inhabitants of the earth. Some have interpreted Nibiru as “a distant planet”, but the actual translation is, “Those Who from Heaven to Earth Came.”

In the Bible references are made to the Anakim and to the Nephilm also meaning those who came from Heaven to Earth.

In the Book of the Dead there are prayers for deliverance from the Watchers (Tchatcha, the princes of Osiris) , who came from Ta-Ur, the “Far Away Land.”

In the Book of Jubilees the Watchers are compared to the “supernatural beings” mentioned in the sixth chapter of Genesis as having come down from heaven to cohabit with women, a union ultimately leading to the birth of the giants.

From the Dead Sea Scrolls (Genesis Apocryphon) we learn that 200 of a larger group of powerful angels called “Watchers” departed from the higher Heavens and sinned. The fallen class of Watchers are considered by some to be the creatures refered to in the Book of Jude as the “angels which kept not their first estate” and who are reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Ancient Chinese folklore tells of visitations from a distant land of “flying carts.”

A Sanskrit text–the Drona Parva, documented “dogfights” by extraterrestrial visitors in flying machines.

But men like Von Daniken claim that the Bible is their best advocate and the “greatest UFO book of all time!” The “wheel” in Ezekiel 1:15, the “pillar of cloud” in Exodus 13:21-22, the giants of Genesis 6:4, and Elijah’s “chariot of fire” (2 Kgs 2:11), are all viewed as examples of “UFO” activity by New Agers.

But is the record found in Genesis chapter six a description of reproductive experiments conducted by advanced extra-terrestrial creatures? Or is it the retelling of something even more sinister?

A CHRISTIAN ANALYSIS VS THE NEW AGE VIEW

Regardless of one’s interpretation of the ancient records, one fact remains. Thousands of years ago heavenly beings visited the earth. They engaged in procreative experiments resulting in a race of mutant beings called nepheli. The final result appears to have been an immediate judgment from God, who ordered Israel to destroy the nepheli and it’s descendants. Thousands of years later Jesus spoke of the events occuring during the days of Noah as being comparable to the days leading up to the Rapture of the Church (Matthew 24). This prophecy is remarkable when one realizes that after God judged the celestial beings who cohabited with the Noahtic women, all such comparable activity apparently ceased until about the year 1940. Then, following the infamous Roswell incident which occurred in New Mexico in 1947, modern people from around the world began encountering strange creatures conducting procreative experiments with increasing regularity.

One is forced to wonder: What’s going on? Who are these creatures? Are the current “UFO” visitors the same as those of Noah’s day? If so, what is this reproductive experimentation about?

Perhaps the answer to this question (the Christian’s analysis vs the New Age view on “aliens”) is hidden in the first six chapters of Genesis. Very soon after the Fall of man we find in Genesis 3:15 the protoevangelium (the promise that the seed of the woman would someday bring forth a child [Jesus] capable of destroying the serpent’s [Satan's] power). In response to the promise, supernatural beings (fallen angels?) appeared from the heavens and performed reproductive experiments on human women (Genesis chapter six). Was Satan attempting to intercept, pollute, and thereby destroy the righteous seed? Was he trying to cut off the birth line of the Messiah? Perhaps. Satan’s ancient goal included cutting off the line leading to the Messiah. Satan led Pharaoh to destroy the Hebrew children so the deliverer might not be born. Herod sought the baby Jesus in the New Testament in order to have Him killed. In Revelation, chapter 12, we see the devil (dragon) waiting to destroy the messianic seed as soon as it is born of the woman.

But Dr. I.D.E. Thomas, in his book, The Omega Conspiracy, suggests that Satan had even bigger plans at work in the sixth chapter of Genesis. He claims that Satan (as opposed to aliens) was trying to produce a race of mutant warriors by breeding fallen angels with women in an effort to exterminate the children of God. From a Christian’s point of view this could explain how people like the Sumerians of Mesopotamia, who were enemies of Yahweh, appeared out of nowhere around B.C. 3500, bringing with them a pantheon of deities, the first written language, and a superior knowledge of earth sciences. This may also explain why many of the religions that followed Sumerian mythology, including Greek mythology, emerged from the original idea that powerful beings, with names like “Zeus” and “Apollo,” visited the earth, intermarried with women, and fathered half human children. Dr. Thomas believes recent “UFO” abduction activity may point to the birth of a new race of anti-God warriors, as we approach the end of the age and the coming of Armageddon.

ENTER LYING WONDERS

A question arises: Does Genesis chapter 6 support the New Age theory that alien creatures traveled from distant planets in UFOs, performed reproductive experiments on women, and were afterward honored in the images and folklore of the gods of mythology? Or, is Dr. I.D.E. Thomas correct in stating that the story in Genesis is a record of fallen angels acting in accord with Satan? What, if anything, could this tell us about the current interstellar phenomena? Are we experiencing an ongoing invasion of earth by intergalactic scientists, or is Satan busy advancing the most sophisticated con game in history?

We know that the rapture of the Church will be accompanied by “…fearful sights and great signs…from heaven” (Lk 21:11). Perhaps Satan is contriving an “alien invasion” to explain the disappearance of so many people at once! If eighty percent of the population believes in the possibility of extra-terrestrial intelligence, wouldn’t this be a powerful form of deception? And since New Age theology produces a growing belief among some contemporary church groups that flying saucers will be the method “God” uses to retrieve the Christian community during the Rapture, couldn’t the UFO sightings phenomenon play a part in the great deception that will pervade the earth following the Rapture?

We read in 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12:

And then shall that Wicked [one] be revealed….whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders.…And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness [emphasis added].

The world authorities remaining to make up the governments of the Antichrist will need an explanation for those taken in the Rapture. People from around the world will be missing! Now imagine: If the Rapture was followed by hundreds of “space craft” landing on earth piloted by creatures who appeared to be advanced humanoids, couldn’t these beings claim to have removed the Christians into some kind of high-tech “rapture,” and simultaneously present their leader (antichrist?) as the messiah? Couldn’t they point to ancient mysteries, megaliths, pyramids, and the gods of mythology, as proof of an ancient visitation of planet earth?

The late Pulitzer Prize-winning author and agnostic Carl Sagan was, until his death, working on a screenplay about the ramifications of just such a savior who appears in the coming millennium! Humanists like Mr. Sagan argue that evidence such as the meteorite which has been hypothesized as indicating that microscopic life existed on Mars millions of years ago, is proof that prehistoric life forms (ET’s) could have moved throughout the universe for untold millennia.

DID DANIEL KNOW “LYING WONDERS” WERE END TIME UFOS?

What are the “lying wonders” referred to in 2 Thessalonians that will accompany the appearing of the Antichrist? According to the Book of Daniel, the Antichrist will “honour the god of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not” (Dan. 11:38). The literal Hebrew translation means “an alien god” (alien to Hebrew culture). Baalhazor, the aforementioned “god of forces,” was originally known as the lord of sky and battle. As Baalbamoth he was the lord of the aerial regions. As Baalzebub he was the lord of those who fly, or quickly flit from place to place. In the New Testament the same spirit is referred to as the prince of the powers of the air (aer, circumambient air encompassing the surface of the earth). Therefore, the lying wonders adjoined to the coming of the Antichrist could very well be what we call flying saucers.

The bottom line? Biblical and extra biblical documents offer a startling proposition: While some UFO sightings can be explained as military or naturally occurring phenomena, others cannot. Whatever or whoever they are, the reality of UFO activity can no longer be doubted. One concludes that these beings are either advanced humanoids from outer space, or that this activity signals an ongoing deception of demonic design. If the current UFO activity is demonic and indicates Satan has for centuries planned an “alien” visitation in order to, among other things, explain the rapture of the church, it is reasonable to believe that his plans have heretofore included indoctrination and advanced intelligence. Military invasions always involve preliminary and clandestine maneuvers, and Satan’s plans to deceive the past, the present, and the future World Order, would first involve covert strategies of brainwashing, political manipulation, and the positioning of his agents in places of power.

Not long ago people who supported such UFO interpretations were the object of scorn. Because of accumulating evidence and reputable eyewitness accounts, this is no longer the case. That some kind of unexplained phenomenon, called the UFO experience by some, occurs, is beyond question. UFO reports are coming in at the alarming worldwide rate of about six sightings per hour! While I believe the New Age Movement’s connection between UFO phenomenon and the origin of man is erroneous, I nevertheless credit New Agers for recognizing the high possibility that UFO activity is perhaps a first step towards developing the schemes of a super intelligent force, a power which may energize the UFO phenomenon today.

What New Agers describe as the goals of a “highly advanced alien civilization,” is perhaps better defined as the plotting of evil supernaturalism.

Christian UFOlogy

While the field of UFOlogy became more defined with the Roswell incident in 1947 and the creation of Project Bluebook which immediately followed, the more specialized field of Christian UFOlogy did not begin to take shape until the late 1990’s. While theologians such as Finis Jennings Dake touched upon the subject of extraterrestrial life spanning the cosmos as early as the late 1940’s,¹ the degree of published material by Christians into the field of UFOlogy was minimal. Searches in Internet search engines for “Aliens” and “Bible” or similar queries gave very few results until books were published by authors such as John W. Milor, author of Aliens in the Bible and Aliens and the Antichrist, and author Dr. Chuck Missler, who produced several audio sermons such as Return of the Nephilim.

Christian UFOlogists fall into four general categories:

Christians who attribute the existence of extraterrestrials and their intergalactic spacecraft to natural or manmade phenomenon.
Christians who categorize extraterrestrials and their intergalactic spacecraft as an elaborate satanic deception.
Christians who categorize extraterrestrials and their spacecraft (which they define as intergalactic and inter-dimensional) as being divine manifestations of God’s holy angels from the heavens, (the heavens being outer space as one of its definitions).
Christians who agree with the third category of Christian UFOlogists in their belief that extraterrestrials are divine manifestations of God’s holy angels, however, they do not neglect to mention the fact that the bible documents both good and evil angels, so they disagree that all extraterrestrials and their spacecraft are divine manifestations of God’s holy angels. They contend that some of them are fallen angels, which leads to their agreement with Christian UFOlogists in the second category, namely that there is a satanic deception at work with these beings.

According to Tariq Malik, staff writer for Space.com, a telephone poll, which questioned one thousand Americans, revealed that regular churchgoers were less likely to believe in extraterrestrial life (about 46 percent) than non-churchgoers (about 70 percent)…”²Combine this statistic with the fact that roughly 77 percent of U.S. adult citizens identify themselves as Christians,³ the conclusion must be drawn that Christian UFOlogists in the first category appeal to the largest number of active Christians.

Explanations for UFO/extraterrestrial related phenomenon derived from Christian UFOlogists in this category vary widely, ranging from ball lightning, swamp gas, hallucinations, or hoaxes, to meteorites, weather balloons, or experimental military aircraft. An example of a Christian UFOlogist who doubts the existence of extraterrestrial life and dismisses the bulk of UFO/extraterrestrial phenomenon as being misidentified natural or manmade phenomenon, is Kenneth Samples, co-author of Lights in the Sky and Little Green Men: A Rational Christian Look at UFOs and Extraterrestrials.⁴

While most active Christians dismiss the majority of UFO/extraterrestrial related phenomenon as author Kenneth Samples does, the largest number of Christian UFOlogists are more willing to accept that there is definitely a paranormal phenomenon taking place, but attribute this phenomenon to a satanic deception rather than actual extraterrestrial beings from other planets. There are four primary reasons for this conclusion. Firstly, most propulsion experts agree that the science of propulsion makes the idea of intergalactic space travel seem to be impossible.⁵ Secondly, UFO/extraterrestrial related phenomenon is frequently linked with the realm of the occult.⁶ Thirdly, the alien abduction phenomenon as reported by abductees is not only described as a torturous and horrific experience by most abductees, it is also noted that abductions of Christians who call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for help during an abduction immediately terminate their abduction.⁷ And finally, Christian authors in this category also frequently quote scriptues from the Bible referring to Genesis chapter 6 during the days of Noah, when fallen angels interbred with humanity and produced a race of evil giants known as the Nephilim. It was for this reason that God brought the flood of Noah. In the end times, it is stated in Matthew 24:37 and Luke 17:26 that there will be a return to the days of Noah, which authors in this category indicate could be a return to the intermingling of fallen angels with humanity.

Dr. Chuck Missler, author of The Return of the Nephilim, Michael S. Heiser, author of The Façade, Dr. Lynn Marzulli, author of The Nephilim Trilogy, Dr. I.D.E. Thomas, author of The Omega Conspiracy, Cal Thomas, LA Times Syndicate, Barbara Simpson, author of The Babe in the Bunker, Jack Vallee, author of Messengers of Deception, Dr. Stephen Yulish, retired professor and researcher, and David Flynn, author of Cydonia: The Secret Chronicles of Mars, are all among Christian UFOlogists in this particular category.

The third category of Christian UFOlogists, those who believe that most UFO/extraterrestrial related phenomenon should be considered as divine manifestations of God and/or His holy angels, is the most controversial category with respect to those of the Christian faith. The reason for this comes from the fact that some of the most famous UFOlogists who proposed the ancient astronauts theories are those that quote the bible to support their theories, yet, these authors are not Christians. Their research frequently redefines the God of the bible as an alien, or race of aliens, (which are created beings if they exist), and this contradicts the immutable attribute of God as the one and only Creator of all things as defined in the bible (Acts 17:24–26, and many others).

For example, author Zacharia Sitchen quotes from the bible, (but more from ancient Sumerian texts documenting the same events of the bible from a pagan perspective), however, he claims humanity was created by a race of angelic beings rather than God the Creator.⁸ He derives this theory based on his interpretation of the Hebrew word for God which is “Elohim.” Elohim is a plural word, which most Christians attribute to the fact that God has a triune nature, (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), defined throughout the bible and referred to by Christians as the trinity, (a topic which spans beyond the scope of this article), yet Sitchen and other authors agreeing with him, such as his predecessor Erick Von Däniken, author of Chariots of the Gods,⁹ contend otherwise.

While there are many UFOlogists that quote the bible as supporting evidence for UFO/extraterrestrial activity, very few are actually Christians, holding to the biblical worldview that God the Creator of all things is the Creator of humanity. Despite this fact, there is at least one prominent Christian UFOlogist in this category. Dr. Donald P. Coverdell, TH.D., author of The Mystery Clouds, does not agree that humanity was created by a race of aliens/angels, but does believe that UFO/extraterrestrial manifestations are primarily divine manifestations of God and His faithful angels.¹⁰ He quotes numerous scriptures referring to the events of the Exodus of Israel from Egypt which included miracles and events surrounding a mysterious pillar of fire in the night sky, (Exodus 13:21-22, 14:24; Numbers 14:14; Nehemiah 9:12, 14), and pillar of cloud in the day which rained down a strange bread-like food in the mornings for the Israelites to eat. Other mysterious clouds associated with God and His faithful angels are mentioned throughout scripture, such as the clouds of heaven, (Daniel 7:13; Matthew 24:29-31; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 11:12), the clouds of glory present during Moses’ meetings with God on mount Sinai, the tent of meeting, and with Jesus at the mount of transfiguration, (Exodus 16:10, 24:16, 40:34-35; Numbers 16:42; 1 Kings 8:11; 2 Chronicles 5:14; Isaiah 4:5; Ezekiel 1:28, 10:4; Matthew 17:5; Mark 9:7; Luke 21:27), and the cloud to which Jesus entered when departing the Earth, (Acts 1:9).

Dr. Coverdell writes about the angelic visitations of Ezekiel, where the angels were associated with what appear to be some type of advanced technological mode of transportation referred to as wheels within wheels, (Ezekiel 1, 2), and of the angelic flying Chariots of Fire in God’s angelic army, (2 Kings 6:17), also named the Chariot of Israel in a specific encounter with the prophet Elijah, (2 Kings 2:11-12). Dr. Coverdell argues that this Chariot of Israel was an airborne vehicle piloted by angels; it was used to physically abduct Elijah up from the ground in a whirlwind and carry him away to heaven. Furthermore, before Elijah was taken away to heaven never to return, Dr. Coverdell points out that Elijah may have been routinely abducted by angelic beings as indicated in 1 Kings 18:12; 2 Kings 2:16.

And as soon as I [Elijah is speaking] have gone from you, the Spirit of the LORD will carry you I know not where. And so, when I come and tell Ahab and he cannot find you, he will kill me, although I your servant have feared the LORD from my youth.

And they said to him [Elisha], “Behold now, there are with your servants fifty strong men. Please let them go and seek your master [Elijah]. It may be that the Spirit of the LORD has caught him up and cast him upon some mountain or into some valley.” And he said, “You shall not send.”

Finally, of the four categories of Christian UFOlogists, those who believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life forms yet define them as both good and evil beings, are among the fewest of all Christian UFOlogists.

Christian UFOlogists in this category draw their research primarily from the bible the same as the researchers from both the second and third categories of Christian UFOlogists mentioned above do, yet they also reconcile the differences between both these seemingly opposing views, all the while remaining true to the Christian faith. Authors among this group include John W. Milor, author of Aliens and the Antichrist and Aliens in the Bible,¹¹ Finis Jennings Dake, prominent theologian and author of God’s Plan for Man,¹² among many other works, and Christian UFO researcher Jim Cunningham.¹³

Like Christian UFOlogists in the second category, these authors/researchers do agree that there is a satanic deception at work within the UFO/extraterrestrial phenomenon, yet at the same time, they believe the deception contains more truth to it than most Christian UFOlogists surmise, which makes the deception even more cunning than it would otherwise be if there were no truth to the deception at all. The truth they refer to concerns their belief that the universe actually is populated with life, which is in agreement with Christian UFOlogists in the third category. However, unlike Christians in the third category, they point out the fact that the bible speaks of faithful and fallen angels, both of which mingled in the affairs of humanity since the dawn of history, and both of which will continue to be involved in the affairs of humanity until the return of God’s kingdom of heaven on Earth in the future. They believe that during the end times, the days of Noah will return, which included public interaction between humans and fallen angels, but they also believe that God’s faithful angels will be at work in the Earth in those days as well, as mentioned in Revelation 14:6.

Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people.

In essence, their argument is that the terms “angels” and “host of heaven,” are synonymous with extraterrestrial life forms of varying alignments, living on other planets, (in the heavens)–spanning multiple dimensions.

Christian UFOlogists in the fourth category believe that Christian UFOlogists in the first and second categories will be forced to abandon their premise that there is no such thing as extraterrestrial life in the cosmos, when in the near future it will become common knowledge as predicted in scripture with the return to the days of Noah. One means of proof for the existence of extraterrestrial life may be derived when intergalactic travel actually becomes possible and available to the public, either by means of intergalactic visitors providing that transportation and/or technology to humanity, or with the advent of our own invention of said technology, (which is already in the works with the new hyperspace drive project being worked on by NASA at this time).¹⁴

Christian UFOlogists in the fourth category also believe that Christian UFOlogists in the second and third categories will be more vulnerable to the satanic deception they believe is coming, because those in the second category will be facing a paradigm shift they will not be expecting, and those in the third category will have a tendency to view all UFO/extraterrestrial related activity as divine manifestations of God and his faithful angels, thereby misidentifying fallen angels as being God’s faithful angels.

The fourth category of Christian UFOlogy is the most complex of the four categories, because it combines and reconciles information from both the second and third categories of Christian UFOlogy, and in some cases, depending on the author, also expounds upon topics of the Christian faith as well as the UFO/extraterrestrial phenomenon through the cross-referencing of terminology. For example, author John W. Milor speaks of the butterfly theory of the origin of angels, which suggests that they were initially created as reproductive species, reproducing after their own kind, rather than each being an individual creation.¹⁵ The humanoids that we know of as Cro-Magnon and Neanderthal were among some of the beings that God translated into angels. Evidence for this is found in the fossil record, (bones of Cro-Magnon and Neanderthal which predate Adam and Eve), indications in scriptures that speak of a pre-Adamite angelic civilization on Earth once ruled by Lucifer (Ezekiel 28; Isaiah 14), and also because the translation process from reproductive mortal humans to non-reproductive immortals is predicted to occur with humanoid Christians in the future, (Matthew 22:30; Mark 12:25; Luke 20:35; Revelation 21:16–17; 22:8–9).

Author John Milor also points out that God’s faithful angels are specifically mentioned in scripture as observing, helping, and learning about salvation from humanity because salvation is something the angels must learn about from observation rather than personal experiences. Because of this, many UFOs/extraterrestrials come to Earth for these reasons, and in some cases, even infiltrate human society on occasion, (Hebrews 13:2).¹⁶

The topic of cosmic salvation is also discussed in Milor’s book, Aliens and the Antichrist.¹⁷ Hebrews 2:16–18 indicates that salvation is not for angels, (which are defined in the bible as non-reproductive immortal beings of the highest order), but for the descendants of Abraham. However, Galatians 3:26-29 states that the descendants of Abraham are those who belong to Christ, which does not limit them to any particular genetic disposition, or species. Therefore if there are beings in the heavens (i.e. outer space), that are not angels then certain scriptures that speak of salvation may actually pertain to them. These scriptures include Acts 2:39; Colossians 1:20; Ephesians 3:10, and Milor believes that the universe may very well be a mission field that Jesus was referring to when He spoke of reaching sheep from another fold, (John 10:16).

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

*Note that this scripture refers to reconciling things in heaven, or the heavens, with God. This must mean that there are beings dealing with sin and death that dwell in the heavens.

Twas 7/6 or 7+6 = 13, a day in July when the Little Bear and Tut met. In the golden hall first behind giant golden doors with the "tyler" or sentinel guarding what took place in the inner court, and then after in the outer court with all of their chess pieces chosen and resplendent, these two proxies representing darker powers hidden from view appeared to be establishing the "Kings of the North" game once again.......the deal perhaps proffered by Pootie Poot but once spurned by the Shrub.

In the fall of 2004, I had a dream. It was so real and terrifying that I had to get up from my bed. The following is an account of the dream:

“I was visiting my birthplace, a small village in the beautiful Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia. I pulled my car off the road and parked in front of the old Methodist Church. I got out of the car to stretch my legs. The day was absolutely pristine and picture perfect. The sky was cloudless, the sun bright, and the air fresh and crystal clear. I was admiring the beautiful flowers growing in people’s yards. Many were busy working in their yards and gardens on such a gorgeous day. There was such peace and serenity.

I turned and looked toward the southeast. I was astonished at what I saw. A billowing cloud of complete blackness was suddenly approaching the town. It completely blotted out all light and scenery where it advanced and covered. It approached the village limits, which was a river southeast of the community.

I made the comment, “Oh my God, the Darkness has come!” I sensed great evil and danger in it. I looked around to see if anyone else saw what I saw. To my amazement, people were oblivious to the approaching wall of darkness. They were still busy working in their yards and around their homes.

I made the statement, “They do not realize what it will be like when the Darkness comes. All of the sun light, beauty of nature and peace will disappear when the Darkness moves in. Everything in their lives will suddenly and drastically change.”

I jumped into my car as they approached. They slowed down as they reached my car and the leader yelled out, “Don’t you dare leave!” I locked my car doors as he approached and floored the gas pedal. My tires squealed as I fled. The motorcyclists purs ued me and tried to force me off the road. I swerved into two and caused them to wreck. The rest pursued me for many miles and shot at me.

After some distance, I approached some men working on the road and asked for help or to make a call for me to the police. The cyclist were no lo nger in sight. I started to get out of the car but heard a voice from above warning me to not to get out of the car but to drive on. Finally, I realized that I was running out of gas and stopped down the road to refuel. I pulled up to a gas station and started refueling. The dream ended with me praying for God’s protection while I refueled.

The parts of the dream that stood out were:

1. The Darkness suddenly came upon the land.
2. Before it came, all was serene, beautiful and peaceful.
3. No one saw it coming.
4. An advanced guard came into the community first on a reconnaissance mission.
5. The Darkness then moved in and totally blotted out all light and beauty. Life drastically changed for people.
6. I fled for safety.

America is on the threshold of something cataclysmic that will radically change life, as we know it. A wall of Darkness is about to suddenly fall upon this land.

John 14:13 tells us that the Holy Spirit will tell us of things to come. He warns us in advance to prepare us for what is ahead.

Hebrews 11:7 records, “…Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with Godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household….”

An advance guard of this Darkness is already at work. People are living in a false sense of complacent security. I believe that the cup of iniquity is full in America, which will unleash divine judgment upon this nation. Something is about to shatter the hardness of this wicked nation’s heart.

God has revealed to me that a Great Awakening is about to burst forth upon the scene. This Awakening will give America and the world one last chance to repent. Most importantly, it will bring the Bride of Christ together. Historically, Awakenings have preceded calamity. This could happen again. However, the coming Darkness may actually precede the Final Awakening and be the cause of people turning20to God, which would bring about the Awakening.

May God’s people listen to the warning of the Holy Spirit and move with Godly fear to the saving of their households and neighborhoods. God desires for us to prepare an ark of safety to which people can flee for refuge when disaster comes. Let us listen and quickly move. Darkness is coming!

Take a Tour of Masonic Washington: What Does It All Mean?

Step right up, folks, no ticket necessary for this symbologic tour of the secrets of Washington.

All you need is the secret handshake. Don’t know the handshake? Never mind. Neither do we.

Just stand at the curb at Union Station and say in unison the ancient phrase of the Freemasons: “Is there no help for the widow’s son?”

Excellent. Come on board our vehicle today, the Esoteric Omnibus, painted black with golden stars, squares, crosses, triangles, pyramids and all-seeing eyeballs.

You know why we’re here. Six years after his blockbuster “The Da Vinci Code,” Dan Brown’s next novel, “The Lost Symbol,” will hit stores Tuesday with a massive print run of 5 million copies. The book’s contents remain a secret deeper than the whereabouts of the Holy Grail and the location of Christ’s genome, but the cover shows a blood-red Masonic seal and the sun glinting behind the Capitol dome.

Hmmm. Masons, Washington. Washington, Masons . . . .

Of course, Brown began dropping clues when he hid the "widow's son" phrase on the dust jacket of "The Da Vinci Code" to allude to his next novel: Masons. There he also disguised an allusion to the enigmatic sculpture Kryptos at CIA headquarters: Washington. There's nothing the author likes better than a secretive society to help weave plots dense with coded knowledge that could change the course of history.

So Brown could have predicted this moment. He must have imagined we'd be taking crash courses on Masonry, poised to scour the nation's capital for symbols and deeper meaning, following the footsteps of Robert Langdon -- the author's tweedy Harvard symbologist hero, who's back in the new novel.

Does the layout of Washington reveal some hidden Masonic influence? Are those secret signs hidden in the construction of key buildings? And what about those scary symbols on the nation's currency?

Let's find out. Touring Brown-inspired Washington Masonry before the novel even comes out may sound crazy, but others have tried.

Masonic historians such as S. Brent Morris ("The Complete Idiot's Guide to Freemasonry") and Christopher Hodapp ("Solomon's Builders") have proposed essential Masonic Washington sites to visit. Old Town Trolley Tours is mulling the launch of a Secret Symbols tour of D.C., based on a concept and 50-page script drafted by Washington writer Warren Getler. Hollywood producers Ron Ziskin and Mark Victor have made a two-hour documentary, "Hunting the Lost Symbol," to air next month on the Discovery Channel. And journalist David A. Shugarts published "Secrets of the Widow's Son," foretelling the Masonic Washington theme, four years before "The Lost Symbol" reached bookstores.

So, all aboard.

1. The Temple of the Supreme Council of the 33rd and Last Degree of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry for the Southern Jurisdiction of the United States

Or House of the Temple, for short. It's the massive edifice 13 blocks north of the White House, guarded by two sphinxes.

Inside are vast halls with ancient motifs and Masonic symbols -- the double-headed eagle, the famous square-and-compass with the letter G (for God and Geometry). The number 33 is big: There are 33 columns on the outside, 33 chairs in a ceremonial room. There's also a 33 on the cover of Brown's book, stamped inside a triangle above the Latin motto: "Order out of Chaos."

Here comes Morris, the genial managing editor of the Scottish Rite Journal.

"You can't have a building like this without a cool door like this!" he says as, with a flourish, he pushes against a section of the limestone wall. A hidden door swings open.

Ah! The chamber of deepest secrets, we presume?

"No, roof access," Morris says. "This is where we go to watch fireworks displays."

Darn.

The Masons are cagey about their rituals, but otherwise they don't seem all that secretive. Docents give free tours of the temple. Let's pause for some Masonry 101.

Masons first appeared in Britain in the early 1400s as members of craft guilds. Their "secrets" included how to square a corner and build a cathedral. Claims of a connection to the Crusades and the Knights Templar -- as suggested in "The Da Vinci Code" and the "National Treasure" movies -- are the stuff of fable, historians say. In the 1600s, non-stoneworking gentlemen began joining, and Masonry became fashionable. The Masons encouraged free thought and religious tolerance. They helped invent America: George Washington, Ben Franklin, nine signers of the Declaration of Independence and 13 signers of the Constitution were Masons. Both Presidents Roosevelt and 11 other presidents besides Washington were, too. Also J. Edgar Hoover, Will Rogers, Ty Cobb, John Wayne.

For the roughly 1.5 million Masons in the United States today, Masonic life involves socializing, self-improvement and raising hundreds of millions of dollars a year for charity, Masonic leaders say.

But you only have to visit any number of anti-Masonic Web sites to find the darker claims of conspiracies to rule the world and undermine religion. A persistent rumor involves secret symbols in the map of the city.

2. The L'Enfant Street Plan

Let's drive south on 16th Street toward the White House -- straight into the heart of the Pentagram.

Brown and his publisher have been issuing riddles and ciphers for fans to solve on Facebook and Twitter. One was the word "L'Enfant."

Another consisted of five pairs of numbers, which turned out to be the latitude and longitude for the White House, Washington Circle, Dupont Circle, Logan Circle and Mount Vernon Square. Draw lines on the avenues connecting the points (pretend Rhode Island doesn't stop at Connecticut) and you get a five-pointed star.

For years Masons have wasted a lot of breath pointing out that five-pointed stars may be demonic, but they aren't particularly Masonic.

But wait: It's also possible to divine a six-pointed star on the map east of the Capitol; and a square-and-compass centered on the Capitol. Those are Masonic symbols. Busted!?

A couple of problems: Pierre L'Enfant, who conceived the street design in 1791, was not a Mason, nor was Andrew Ellicott, who executed the layout.

L'Enfant's guiding design principle was to symbolize the democracy by locating the White House and the Capitol on two prominent rises, connecting them with a grand boulevard. The street scheme grew from that.

"So many of the claims are so ridiculous," says Don Alexander Hawkins, an architect and historical cartographer, who debunks the conspiracy theories in a forthcoming essay for Washington History magazine.

On the other hand, Hawkins must admit, the boss who wanted the 10-mile-square city staked out exactly here was George Washington, the Mason.

Brown could work with that.

Did we mention that 16th Street is Washington's "Rose Line"? Brown loves a Rose Line, as readers of "The Da Vinci Code" know. A Rose Line, in Brown's fiction, is a meridian line with mystical significance. Thomas Jefferson (not a Mason) conceived that 16th Street would be the prime meridian for the new world. The meridian line would pass through the White House. He imagined that a monument to George Washington would be placed on the spot where the meridian line intersected a straight line drawn west from the U.S. Capitol. Unfortunately, the Washington Monument had to be located slightly off the Rose Line where the ground was firmer.

Continue the intersecting line from the Capitol across the Potomac River and you hit a place called Rosslyn, which, as "Code" readers know, is also the name of the sacred Templar chapel in Scotland. According to Brown's fiction, Rosslyn and Rose Line are linguistically connected: Rosslyn-Roslin-Rose Line.

So the Masonic headquarters -- built more than a century after L'Enfant went to work -- is on Washington's Rose Line. And at the foot of the Rose Line, in Lafayette Park, the key statues depict Masons, according to Hodapp: Andrew Jackson, Lafayette, Kosciusko, Von Steuben and Rochambeau.

This novel is just writing itself.

3. Statue of Albert Pike

Hiding in plain site in Judiciary Square is said to be the only outdoor statue of a Confederate general in Washington.

But Albert Pike's Confederate leanings don't concern us here. He was also a sovereign grand commander of the Scottish Rite Masons.

His big, bearded likeness is almost lost in the canopy of trees. At his feet is a woman holding a banner with the double-headed eagle, the triangle and the number 33. The 33 is a specific reference to the Scottish Rite. Most Masons are not Scottish Rite. Washington wasn't. The Scottish Rite was founded in 1801 -- two years after Washington died, a decade after the city was laid out. Is Brown imagining a fateful schism among American Masons?

At a book event shortly after "The Da Vinci Code" came out, Getler says he mentioned to Brown that his own recent nonfiction book, "Rebel Gold," concerned a secret society, buried treasure and Pike.

According to Getler, Brown said: "I don't think I should read your book right now. My next book is about Albert Pike."

4. The Capitol

In September 1793, Washington donned a ceremonial Masonic apron and helped lay the cornerstone of the Capitol, a ritual complete with a silver trowel, marble gavel and the sprinkling of corn, wine and oil.

Washington's participation was special for Masons. He was the president of the country, but he was simultaneously being a Mason.

For conspiracy theorists and fiction writers, it could be special, too. Were his loyalties divided?

In his novels, Brown reveres art as a system for communicating secret messages to the initiated. The Capitol, as essentially a massive national art gallery, may have something to say.

High on the Capitol Rotunda's domed ceiling is Brumidi's dramatic portrayal of the "Apotheosis of Washington" -- the Mason ascending to heaven. Of 100 or so statues in Statuary Hall and elsewhere in the building, Hodapp counts at least 30 Masons. And he found a panel on the doors of the Senate depicting the cornerstone ceremony, Washington wearing his apron.

(Speaking of official and quasi-official art, what's the deal with the Great Seal? On the back is an unfinished pyramid topped by the all-seeing eye, as on the back of a $1 bill. Masonic, right? No, says Morris. The final seal design came from a committee of non-Masons. The unfinished pyramid is not Masonic. The all-seeing eye is a Masonic symbol for the creator, but is used beyond Masonry as well, he says.)

Brown also loves a crypt. There's one in the Capitol, of course, beneath the Rotunda. At the center of the crypt is a star. The star marks the spot from which the capital's four quadrants of streets fan out -- the very heart of the L'Enfant street plan with its mysterious meanings.

What else is down there?

5. George Washington Masonic National Memorial

On to Virginia, via the Key Bridge -- not because it's the most direct route to Alexandria, but because it's called the Key Bridge, and that might be key, in a Solomon's Key sense of the word. Also, the Key Bridge leads to Rosslyn, which, well, you know.

Now heading south on the George Washington (!) Memorial Parkway, past Theodore Roosevelt Island, named after another presidential Mason.

The tall lighthouse-like tower of the Masonic memorial dominates Alexandria. Inside is a gigantic bronze statue of Washington in his Masonic apron. It is also the modern home of a still-active Alexandria Masonic Lodge, where Washington was once the worshipful master.

Also in Alexandria is Jones Point, where in 1791, during yet another Masonic ceremony, the first stone marking the outline of the District of Columbia was laid.

6. Kryptos, Central Intelligence Agency, Langley

The perfect Brownian object: A work of art that embodies secrecy and ciphers, designed to adorn the headquarters of a spy agency.

The public can't visit, but the agency has a little Web tour we can call up on our laptops.

Created in 1990 by sculptor James Sanborn, the copper and stone Kryptos has four panels inscribed with letters, concealing four coded messages. Three have been solved. Still encrypted is a message with about 97 characters. What does it say?

Shugarts was among those who spotted the almost-exact coordinates of Kryptos's location on the jacket of "The Da Vinci Code." Shugarts also found on the jacket the phrase "only WW knows," which is part of one of the decoded messages of Kryptos. WW is generally believed to refer to former spy chief William Webster.

Kryptos is seemingly a big step from the Masons -- unless WW stands for William Wirt, who ran on the Anti-Masonic Party ticket in 1832, and whose skull was supposedly stolen from his grave. The skull and bones were reunited by Smithsonian anthropologists. "Who stole William Wirt's skull?" was another pre-publication clue.

Meanwhile, they are ransacking Washington for other coded art. Some say artist Albrecht Durer figured in a Twitter clue. "Lost Symbol" hunters say his "Melencolia" -- which is at the National Gallery of Art -- contains Mason-like symbols, even though Durer predated the Masons. "Melencolia" also contains a "magic square" -- a puzzle, believed to have mystical meaning, where rows of numbers add up to the same sum.

Prediction: Somewhere in "The Lost Symbol," a guy in a raincoat wearing a Masonic ring is going to be sitting on the Metro at the L'Enfant Plaza station working a very strange Sudoku puzzle.

This can go on and on, which is what keeps us turning the pages, until it ends.
