Introduction

A bird-like crop circle formation appeared around June 12, 2009 at Yatesbury, near Cherhill, Wiltshire --

My first impression was that it represents the Phoenix bird, because the tail section appears to be on fire. The mythological Phoenix represents death/rebirth in cycles of time. It lives for some 400+ years and then burns to ashes. Out of the ashes, a small, worm-like, young Phoenix arises to live for another cycle. I see this as symbolic of the spiritual evolution of each person and of humanity in general. These are examples of images of the Phoenix --

I relate the symbolism of the phoenix to two Biblical verses --

Within a few days, I began to realize that the new "bird" crop circle formation also fit with other bird-like images. This is disturbing, because the previous symbols indicated war. These two images are from my article about the 9-11 events of 2001 --

The diagram on the left, above, was a crop circle formation that appeared at Chorley during the first week of August 1990. That same week Iraq invaded Kuwait. The swastika-like formation reminded me of the eagle on our National Seal (the image on the right, above). Iraq is the area of ancient Babylon, a key symbol in the Book of Revelation. The formation seemed to predict the wars in Iraq, which, of course, are not over yet.

The formation seemed to show the American Eagle turning its face away from the 13 laurel leaves that represent peace and negotiation, toward the 13 arrows of war. I had read of this idea in Joseph Campbell's book, "The Inner Reaches of Outer Space."

I drew the image in the center, above, showing the Eagle looking toward the arrows. Note the similarity to the new "bird" formation that appeared at Yatesbury in 2009. I placed the wings in a downward position, as opposed to the upward position shown on the National Seal, based on the Chorley crop formation.

The connections to the new "bird" formation of 2009 will become more clear as the details are examined.

There are also differences between the 2009 "bird" formation and the eagle that I drew in the center image, above. The primary difference is that the 2009 formation has the wings upward rather than downward. Other differences are discussed below.

Many other countries use the eagle as a symbol. Here are a few examplse --

Legends of the Lost Tribes poist the theory that the ten Tribes traveled into Europe long ago, leaving symbols, primarily those of the Tribe of Dan, which included the eagle.

1990 Cruciform Pictograms

I will now relate more details concerning the cruciform crop formations of 1990.

On April 17, 1991, I received the No. 3 CPR Newsletter for April 1991, from Pat Delgado. The newsletter was published by Circles Phenomenon Research, founded by Pat Delgado and Colin Andrews. One of the articles, by Pat, was titled, CRUCIFORM PICTOGRAMS. Two diagrams (in feet, not to scale, alligned North-South) were included.

The formation diagramed on the left, above, was discovered at Chorley, near Lichfield in Staffordshire during the first week of August 1990. The information was sent by Geoff Ambler of Wheatley, Oxfordshire and Peter Manners of Lichfield, Straffordshire. The small, approximately 9 foot circle between the southern and western arms was swirled clockwise.

Stephen Balon of Leigh, Lancashire, sent the information about the formation diagramed on the right, above. It was created at Astley in Lancashire, during the second week of August 1990. The swirled circles contained a three to four coil spiral. Each of the three smaller circles were swirled clockwise and the large central circle was anti-clockwise. The field did not contain tractor tram lines.

I noted that the formations appeared "bird like," especially when turned 180 degrees, so that the "heads" were upward, and the "tails" downward.

Note that the 2009 "bird" formation at Yatesbury has a small circle near the "beak" of the bird, which seems to paralell the small, approximately 9 foot circle between the southern and western arms of the 1990 Chorley formation (see the black and white diagram of the formation, below, with red and blue markings).

I noticed that the triangular "tail" parts of the two cruciform patterns were of different shapes -- the Astley formation being much longer in height compared to width than the Chorley formation. I drew two diagrams in my notebook showing the "tails" of the formations extended into triangles --

The triangle of the Astley formation came to a point above the "head of the bird." The triangle in the Chorley formation came to a point close to the center of the circle representing the "body of the bird."

I later came to see a possilbe chakra association. The Chorley formation may indicate the third chakra at the solar plexus. The Astley formation may indicate a chakra level above the seven within the human body. This may correspond to an eighth chakra and/or the connection to the Higher Self.

In 2004, the Chakra System Crop Circle Formation appeared. The seven chakras were alligned with the Crown Chakra pointing to the White Horse on the hillside. In this case, the White Horse may represent the Higher Self. There was also a swastika type pattern in the field indicating the point between the third and fourth (heart) chakras.

Dreams

In mid 1991, I had two dreams about the Chorley formation. In both dreams there was a dream voice message. On 25 April 1991 I saw the Chorley formation diagram and heard --

I was quite surprised by this dream message. I had never considered anything about Christ negative. Many years later I understood this in a different light. I believe this is about the Cosmic Christ of collective mankind. This seemingly negative "Christ" in the dream would represent the consciousness of mankind while in the lower three chakras, which are the animal instincts. In the long run it is not negative, but rather, part of the "script" of our stage play -- a purification process of learning through karmic-like experiences. This leads to the Virgin Birth of the spiritual person out of the animal person which happens at the heart chakra level.

Perhaps the Astley formation represents this change. Indications are that images of the swastika have similar meanings. The suggestion is that the left-going or counterclockwise swastika made of four horns represents mankind in the animal instinct chakra stages, and that this changes to the positive, represented by the right-going or clockwise swastika made of four "builder glyphs," that is, right-angled squares like those used by carpenters and masons (see the swastika discussion below).

The idea of the Cosmic Christ is related to the symbolism of communion, where people become part of the Body of Christ, as they reach the heart chakra level of consciousness evolution. One does not have to belong to a church in order to arrive at this Christ-Self level. The collective Christ/mankind seems to be the "Divine Child" of Revelation 12. I wrote about the beginnings of this communion theory in part six of the Pollen Path articles.

On 1 June 1991, I dreamed of seeing the Chorley formation diagram again, this time with energy lines flowing down into the "tail of the "bird." A voice said --

As usual, I was skeptical of the validity of my own dream. The apparent meaning was just so grand. This seemed to be saying that our reality is the dumping ground for other planes of reality. This could be the answer to one of life's greatest questions -- If God is good, why do so many horrible things happen in the world?

Over time, I found some verification of the idea. Apparently, we people of the Earth have volunteered to do this job -- to discharge the negative energies from the greater realities, the "many mansions" of our "Father's house." Other dimensions of reality benifit from this, as the negative energy is diverted away from those realms.

It is likely that people of the human race on Earth are considered brave heroes to the entities of other dimensions. This is in stark contrast to western church teaching that the people of the world are guilty, sinful, descendants of Adam and Eve, who ate the fruit that caused the curse.

Not long after I got online, near the beginning of 1997, I happened to find a web page with an amazing dream, which seemed to verify the idea above. It is titled --

An Extraordinary Dream

To my readers, I suggest reading that dream now, before continuing with this article. Otherwise, I may spoil the suspenseful buildup and incredible ending of the dream for you, in the analysis below.

The meandering river flowing in the heavens seems to represent the flow of consciousness. The flow is toward the West, where the sun sets, which is the direction of "death" and the end of cycles. The waters reach lower levels via the waterfalls, indicating lower levels of consciousness.

The polluted lake, I believe, represents the Earthly realm of consciousness, where the "garbage" has been discharged. The waters are purified by the person (Jesus Christ) who is suspended by ropes to four points, forming an "X" shape.

The Earth is sometimes represented by an equal-armed cross inside a circle. This is the case with the Earth sphere (Malchut) in the Tree of Life. Such a cross is related to the swastika. The suggestion of the dream seems to show the purifying "person" as the consciousness of mankind, rather than the historical Jesus. Otherwise, it seems to me, that Jesus would be shown on a conventional Christian cross.

There was just one inaccuracy in one of your articles concerning the formation that appeared up near Manchester. It was the reference to the Ashley Green formation, the one with three arms radiating out of a central circle with smaller circles at the ends of the arms, and a long wedge shape that created the image of a keyhole. This was an image of Artemis the Earth/Moon Goddess of the ancient Greeks. Interestingly there were no ancient sites anywhere near this formation, but I discovered that a disused coalmine was directly beneath the formation. Thus the message can now be read " I am Black and Female. Come downstairs and visit me sometime!!"

All the early Black Madonnas of the Catholic Church must have been based on Artemis as she was portrayed as being black. Interestingly the Virgin Mary spent her last few years on Earth in a house just above Ephesus in Turkey. Ephesus was the biggest centre for the veneration of Artemis, and the remains of her temple are still there. When St. Paul went there with the intention of converting the Ephesians, a mob chased him off exclaiming the words " Great is Diana of the Ephesians." (Diana is synonymous with Artemis). The three [phallic symbols] were the Alton Barnes, Stanton St. Bernard, and West Kennett formations of the same year.

A Book By Dennison and Teddi Tsosie

Dennison and Teddi Tsosie recently produced a book, titled, "Spirit Visions, the Old

Ones Speak." Dennison, a Native American, began to have dreams and visions in 1988, after his wife, Teddi, placed a Record Keeper Crystal under her pillow, without his knowledge.

The subjects cover crop circles, the Holy Grail, the Knights Templar, Solomon's Temple, UFOs/ETs, comets, the Watchers, Joseph Campbell, Light People, Nostradamus, numerology, symbols, the Great Change, and other things. Dennison knew almost nothing about the subjects. He does not read or write.

Almost everything in the book has parallels to the material I have been gathering for seven years. It is quite incredible. For example, he drew some symbols that are very close to two "cruciform" crop formations that appeared in 1990. Few people knew about them, because the only report was in the small "CPR" newsletter from Pat Delgado and Colon Andrews. Very few people recieved it, but I was one. I thought it was strange that both of the cruciform patterns had the "heads" pointing south. In Dennison's drawings, he had one upside down, and then another right-side up. He said the first is how man is, and the second is how man should be.

In contrast to the 2009 "Eagle" formation, the Aztec spirit bird formation of 2009 had the head pointing to the left and the wings pointing down.

The 2009 Eagle formation has features that are similar to the "Angel" formation of 2001. Many other formations have shown similar patterns.

The Iliad does not relate how Zeus carried off Ganymede, but there is an ancient Roman mosaic showing Ganymede, the Trojan prince, being carried off by Zeus, who had taken the form of an eagle. Here is a possible clue to connect the progenitors of the ancient Trojans with the tribe of Dan, who had adopted the eagle as their insignia.

Zeus was sometimes pictured as an eagle, but at other times he was pictured as a serpent to whom offerings of honey were made. Here appears yet another clue. We have the symbol of a snake (the first insignia of Dan) to whom offerings of honey were made!! The honey could be a reference to the bees in Samson's riddle. Over the centuries some of the Spartans (earlier populated by Trojans) and Trojans migrated to southern France, and into Germany. In the Apocryphal book I Maccabees there is an account about the Spartans of southern Greece claiming they were related to the Jewish people and were, in fact, the stock of Abraham.
