The Garsington Formation that was reported on 15 July 2005, is another New Jerusalem Plan type of design. The Lurkley Hill formation of 22 June 2005, is the other. Compare:

Many of the crop circle formations this year seem to be interrelated:

Post subject: The New Jerusalem Relates to Tribes Camp

Pasted below is part of an e-mail I sent some six years ago. The idea was to show how the camp positions of the Tribes described in Numbers 2, fit with the New Jerusalem, described in Revelation 21. It is said to reflect Heaven on Earth. This is based on the Twelve Zodiac signs.

In my previous post, I spoke of two 2005 crop formations that fit with The New Jerusalem Plan. In both cases there are twelve circles in a ring, with four of them, in a cross shape from each other, shown as special. These four would correspond to the Four Living Creatures, and to the solstices and equinoxes.

In order to better understand the Book of Revelation, and its Zodiac associations,
I think it is important to study this chapter of the Bible closely:

Numbers 2 (look up)

I will paste in a few excerpts, along with my comments. The chapter
starts with:

1And Jehovah spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, 2The children
of Israel shall encamp every man by his own standard, with the ensigns
of their fathers' houses: over against the tent of meeting shall they encamp
round about.

Keep in mind that they are being told to encamp in a way that reflects
the Heavens as seen from earth, with an understanding of the Zodiac.
The "tent of meeting" will be the Tabernacle in the center, which reflects
God's position in the center of heaven.

The "standard with the ensigns" seems to refer to symbolic designs,
just as we have symbols for the Zodiac signs. The word "Zodiac"
came from words meaning "circle of animals."

Also keep in mind that in other parts of the Bible, the "two anointed,"
associated with the two olive trees of Revelation 11 and Zechariah 4
are the High Priest and King. The High Priests come from the line of
Aaron. They come from the Tribe of Levi, who are not counted among
the Twelve Tribes, and are with the Tabernacle/Tent. The Kings come
from the Tribe of Judah.

Inside the Tabernacle is the golden lampstand with seven lamps, the
Menorah. In Zechariah 4, the two olive trees stand on each side of the
Menorah. Joshua in Zechariah 3 is the High Priest. Zerubbabel is
mentioned in Zechariah 4. This is not the Joshua of the Jerico battle.
Zerubbabel was the "governor" and this Joshua was the High Priest
when the Tribes returned from Babylon around 600 BC. The short
Book of Haggai speaks of these two. Zerubabbel means "seed of

I believe these "two anointed" represent the Bloodlines. The chronology
of the Bloodline of Kings is given on the first Page of the New Testament,
starting with Abraham and ending with Joseph who was married to Mary.
In the Old Testament, the Bloodline is traced back to Adam.

A dispute started many years later, with the "virgin birth" idea, and still
goes on. Why would the Bloodline be traced in such a way if Joseph was
not the real father of Jesus? Some say the virgin birth is symbolic.

In the verses from Numbers 2, above, Moses seems to correspond to
the leader or King, and Aaron to the High Priest.

Continuing with another excerpt from Numbers 2:

3And those that encamp on the east side toward the sunrising shall
be they of the standard of the camp of Judah, according to their hosts:
and the prince of the children of Judah shall be Nahshon the son of

Note that Judah is mentioned first and is on the east. Judah is associated
with the lion, as mentioned in Genesis 49:9. This, then, corresponds to
the Zodiac sign of Leo.

5And those that encamp next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar:
and the prince of the children of Issachar shall be Nethanel the son of

7And the tribe of Zebulun: and the prince of the children of Zebulun shall
be Eliab the son of Helon.

They shall set forth first.

So, now we have a total of three Tribes in the eastern quadrant,
corrseponding to three Zodiac signs. When the Tribes set out on
the march, this eastern quadrant goes first, with the Judah Tribe

There also may be a "time" symbolism in this, something that started in
the Age of Leo, like "marching" through time, as the precession of
the equinoxes moves in reverse through the Zodiac over a period of
25,920 years. We are near or at the half way point, some 12,960
years since the beginning of Leo. The end of Pisces, of course, is
followed by Aquarius.

The total number of people in this quadrant is 186,400. Interestingly,
this is quite close to the speed of light.

10On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben
according to their hosts: and the prince of the children of Reuben shall
be Elizur the son of Shedeur.

And they shall set forth second.

17Then the tent of meeting shall set forward, with the camp of the
Levites in the midst of the camps: as they encamp, so shall they set
forward, every man in his place, by their standards.

The Tribe of Reuben is in the South quadrant. The symbol of Reuben
is the ox, and this corresponds to the sign of Taurus. The Tribes of
Simeon and Gad camp with Reuben in the South quadrant. They are
second in line when the Tribes set out on the march.

At this point, we have six Tribes or half the Zodiac. The tent
(Tabernacle) is in the middle (midst) of the encampment, tended by the
Tribe of Levites. When on the march, the Levites are in the center of the
line. The number of people in each of the Twelve Tribes is given, but
the number of Levites are not given.

This is followed by the Tribe of Ephrim in the West quadrant, whose
symbol is a man, indicating Aquarius. The Tribes of Menasseh and
Benjamin also camp with Ephrim in the West quadrant.

The Tribe of Dan is in the North quadrant, whose symbol is the eagle,
corresponding to Scorpio. The Tribes of Asher and Naphtali camp
with Dan in the North quadrant.

So, we have the Twelve Tribes representing the Zodiac, laid out in
quadrants, three tribes in each, and a lead Tribe in each, that correspond
to the Four Living Creatures. The Tabernacle/tent is in the center with
the "extra" Tribe of Levites.

33But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as
Jehovah commanded Moses. 34Thus did the children of Israel; according
to all that Jehovah commanded Moses, so they encamped by their
standards, and so they set forward, every one by their families, according
to their fathers' houses.

Scholars point out that similar symbolism has been found in the middle
east, and appears to be quite old. For example, a limestone "portal
guardian" standing 11 1/2 feet high, was found at the palace of
Ashurnasirpal II at Nimrud, Assyria, dating to 883-859 BC. It is a
"chimeral cherub" combining the body of a bull, the feet of a lion,
wings and breast of an eagle, and a human head wearing a miter of
six horns.

The four creatures, it is said, represent the Zodiac signs of the solstices
and equinoxes during the Age of Taurus. This would also be true for the
Ages of Leo, Aquarius and Scorpio, as the four signs are 90-degrees

Some say the Sphinx has the same meaning, and that it once had
eagle wings and ox parts. Recent scholarship indicates that it is much
older that previously assumed . . . that it dates to somewhere around
10,500 BC. It faces almost due east, where the spring equinox was
located in Leo at that time. Aquarius, the "man," was directly behind,
180-degrees around the Zodiac. The Signs of Taurus and Scorpio
were to each side.

Ezekiel had his vision in the 6th century BC. He was one of the captives
in Babylon at the time. Scholars point out that he must have know about
the "cherubs" and the Zodiac symbols. The research of Zechariah Sitchin
indicates that much of this knowledge traces back to the much more
ancient Sumarians, who received it from the Anunnaki, the sons of the
God who came down and married the daughters of men, as the Bible
puts it. Abraham came from Ur, which is in that land.

The Book of Revelation, of course, speaks of the Four Living Creatures,
the Twelve Tribes, the tent in heaven, the seven golden lampstands
(the Menorah), and the two olive trees, the two anointed. The 144,000
with their Father's Name on their foreheads are composed of 12,000
people from each of the Twelve Tribes. The New Jerusalem certainly
seems symbolically similar to camp positions of the Tribes in Numbers 2.
But, instead of the Tabernacle, the Tree of Life stands at the center.

The number seven, of course, is used over and over in the Bible and in
Revelation. The one like the son of man, standing amidst the seven
golden lamps holds seven stars.

All of it seems related to the Zodiac as envisioned in the camp positions
in Numbers 2. The ancient astrologers used the "seven planets" that moved
along the plane of the ecliptic through the Zodiac signs. The seven included
the sun, the moon, and the visible planets. The seven-day week was
fashioned after the "seven planets."

Ex. 28:17-21 speaks about the Twelve - "like the engravings of a signet."
The last verses of Haggai say that Zerubbabel will be made the Signet Ring
of the Lord when Heaven and Earth shake. According to Blavatsky,
the Signet Ring of the Lord is the Tau Cross, the equal-armed
cross, and it is the Father's Name mark on the forehead (see
Rev. 14:1). The Father's Name is related to the "Tetragrammaton,"
the four letters of the Divine name, YHWH.

Correct me if I am wrong, but there seems to be a discrepancy between the camp positions and the actual Zodiac. Reuben, the man (Aquarius) should be on the West, and Ephrim, the ox (Taurus), should be in the South.

The New Jerusalem of Revelation has twelve gates with an angel and pearl (i.e., spheres/circles) at each gate. There are also twelve gemstones, like those worn by the High Priests to represent the Tribes.

I believe this symbolism includes all mankind, not just one race. We all are "born under" one of the twelve Zodiac signs.

Post subject: Crop Formations as Ezekiel's Vision

The Lurkley Hill and Garsington Formations can also be compared to Ezeliel's vision. The idea is to use four shapes like the 1991 Barbury Castle pictogram:

Simplified into a four Malteses Crosses within Teutonic Crosses can be imagined thus:

Interior of Lurkley Hill Formation

Garsington Formation

Imagine the "wings" of the Maltese Crosses lowered into a pyramid as seen from above:

By reading the first page of Ezekiel, and comparing it to the illustration, one can see the connections. I will relate the comparisons that came to mind as I read the verses of Ezekiel -

1:4 As I looked, behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, and a great cloud, with brightness
round about it, and fire flashing forth continually, and in the midst of the fire, as it were gleaming
bronze. 5And from the midst of it came the likeness of four living creatures.

And this was their appearance: they had the form of men, 6but each had four faces, and each of
them had four wings.

Comparison: The segments within each triangle can be viewed as wing-like. A crop formation in 1993 had a similar wing-like shape. The central circle in the illustration contains four overlapping circles, perhaps corresponding to the "four faces." Another possibility is this - each triangle may represent a tetrahedron, a three-sided pyramid shape. The three sides plus the bottom (another triangle) has "four faces."

1:7 Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the sole of a calf's foot; and they sparkled like burnished bronze. 8Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. And the four had their faces and their wings thus: 9their wings touched one another; they went every one straight forward, without turning as they went.

Comparison: The "four sides" could also suggest tetrahedrons. The "wings touched one another," just as the corresponding wing-like shapes in the illustration "touch." The last part of the verse seems to indicate that the shape retains its form as it moves.

1:10 As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man in front; the four had the face of a lion on the right side, the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and the four had the face of an eagle at the back. 11Such were their faces. And their wings were spread out above; each creature had two wings, each of which touched the wing of another, while two covered their bodies.

Comparison: As I mentioned, the four living creatures are thought to represent Zodiac signs. I first read about the idea in 1990, in Joseph Campbell's The Inner Reaches Of Outer Space. A photograph is shown on page 77 of a "chimeral cherub," a large limestone carving. It is a portal guardian from the palace of Ashurnasirpal II at Nimrud, Assyria, 833-859 BC. The chimeral cherub combines the body of a bull, feet of a lion, wings and breast of an eagle, and a human head wearing a miter with six horns. Ezekiel lived during the late 6th century BC, and was located in the area of Babylon, so it is likely that he was familiar with this symbolism. The four living creatures correspond to the Zodiac signs during the Age of Taurus in this way -

Lion = Leo - summer solstice
Ox = Taurus - spring equinox
Eagle (which later became Scorpio) = autumnal equinox
Man = Aquarius, the Water Bearer - winter solstice

The same four triangles in The New Jerusalem Plan design, when viewed as a Zodiac, represent three Zodiac signs each, with the same "four living creatures" above included in each, that is, one tip of each triangle touches the corresponding Zodiac signs . . . which are represented by the circles in my three illustrations.

The image of "two wings" that are "spread out above," could be similar to the Teutonic Cross design. In my drawing of the Teutonic Cross shape, the "wings" do not touch. However, the description seems similar.

1:12 And each went straight forward; wherever the spirit would go, they went, without turning as they went. 13In the midst of the living creatures there was something that looked like burning coals of fire, like torches moving to and fro among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. 14And the living creatures darted to and fro, like a flash of lightning.

1:15 Now as I looked at the living creatures, I saw a wheel upon the earth beside the living creatures, one for each of the four of them. 16As for the appearance of the wheels and their construction: their appearance was like the gleaming of a chrysolite; and the four had the same likeness, their construction being as it were a wheel within a wheel. 17When they went, they went in any of their four directions without turning as they went. 18The four wheels had rims and they had spokes; and their rims were full of eyes round about.

Comparison: When first reading these words of the great prophet, I was astonished. It seemed like a verification of my feelings concerning the shapes I had drawn. The first parts of the verses gave me the feeling . . . "maybe, just perhaps, my illustrations are related." Along with that feeling was the familiar one . . . "I am just stretching this to make it fit . . . I am being egotistical, falling into an aggrandizement."

But, when I read about the "four wheels," I began to really believe that it just might be related. The "wheels" in my illustrations are patterned after the crop formation, which had the central circle with two rings superimposed over the triangle. The "spokes" seem to correspond to the "Y" -shapes inside the design.

The idea that the shape is "full of eyes," may correspond to the ancient glyph of the eye within the triangle, as "The Monotheistic Deity looking out from Heaven." It is quite similar to the other ancient glyph with the circle and ring within a triangle, representing "The Monotheistic Deity in Heaven." The expression, "His Eye is on the sparrow" (or bird), may be a clue. A bird's eye has no lid, so it is round, a circle with ring.

1:19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures rose from the earth, the wheels rose. 20Wherever the spirit would go, they went, and the wheels rose along with them; for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.

21When those stood, these stood; and when those rose from the earth, the wheels rose along with them; for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.

1:22 Over the heads of the living creatures there was the likeness of a firmament, shining like crystal, spread out above their heads. 23And under the firmament their wings were stretched out straight, one toward another; and each creature had two wings covering its body.

24And when they went, I heard the sound of their wings like the sound of many waters, like the thunder of the Almighty, a sound of tumult like the sound of a host; when they stood still, they let down their wings. 25And there came a voice from above the firmament over their heads; when they stood still, they let down their wings.

Comparison: Again, the image of the two "wings" of each creature "stretched out straight" could be similar to the Teutonic Cross design. Standing "still" and letting "down their wings," seems similar to lowering the bases of the triangles to form the pyramid . . . or perhaps, the capstone of the pyramid. Such imagery is said by some to represent Christ's return. It brings to mind the pyramid symbol placed on American money. The triangle with the eye inside is suspended above the flat-topped pyramid. According to Joseph Campbell, this is the Eye of the Holy Spirit. He also made this observation:

"One cannot but think of representations in European medieval art of Christ of the
Second Coming, surrounded by four figures symbolizing the evangelists, Matthew,
Mark, Luke, and John - namely, a man, a lion, a bull, and an eagle, . . . "

The words, "the sound of many waters" also appear in Revelation 1:15, in describing the voice of the son of man. The harlot of Revelation 17:1 is seated upon "many waters." The "waters" where the harlot is seated is explained in Revelation 17:15 as "peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues." Assuming a consistency in the verses, it seems clear that "many waters" refer to all the people of the earth. This fits well, I believe, with the idea that the four living creatures are connected with the twelve Zodiac signs, because every person on the earth is born "under" one of these signs. The son of man in Revelation 1:15, then, may well represent many people speaking in the future. Revelation 1:16 says, ". . . from his mouth issued a sharp two-edged sword."

The verses of Ezekiel that follow speak of the throne above the firmament, with a human form seated upon it. A bright rainbow was round about the throne.

Revelation 4 also speaks of the four living creatures, the throne and the rainbow. In Saint John's vision, the rainbow appeared like emerald. Each of the four living creatures have six wings. Revelation 4:4 gives additional information -

Round the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders,
clad in white garments, with golden crowns upon their heads.

If my illustrations are indeed related, this may suggest the orientation of the four Barbury Castle crop formation shapes. The north glyph in the crop formation had six curved lines in the circle, forming an aperture-like design. Placing the four north glyphs in the pyramid design to overlap in the center makes a total of twenty-four curved patterns within the four overlapped circles.

I realized then that putting the north glyphs in the center, makes another possible connection. The north glyph in the crop formation is said to be a "sun symbol." In terms of the simplified quintuplet set of circles, they could indicate the sun (four suns overlapped) with four "earths" placed around it, showing the positions of the solstices and equinoxes.

Post subject: Chimeral Cherub - Garsington Formation

In a previous post, I mentioned the "chimeral cherub" that has the symbolism of the Four Living Creatures. I found a photograph of one:

I should have mentioned that the Lurkey Hill Formation had the twelve outer circles as half "light" and half "dark." This may suggest twelve hours of day and twelve hours of night. This may also be the meaning of the twenty-four elders with their thrones in Revelation 4:4

Post subject: The New Jerusalem = The Heart Chakra

I have good reason to think that the New Jerusalem is related to the heart chakra. Here are a few versions of the symbol:

Post subject: Double Spirals & Infinity Signs

Apparently three formations appeared near Garsington, Oxfordshire, around 15 July 2005. The one listed as (3) was this:

A somewhat similar double spiral appeared early last year, near Fort Nelson, around 5 June:

I think they may be related to the figure eight types of formations, like the infinity sign.

Around 9 May 2004, this formation appeared at Tegdown Hill:

I later found that exact glyph on this page:

It is said to represent the Tipharet Helix in the Tree of Life. Other forms include these:

A unique view of the Tree shows a more clear meaning:

I made this posting about it on Paul Vigay's site:

On 1st Jun 2004, Joe Mason wrote;

"There is a graphic like this formation on this page:

It is one of several glyphs shown to illustrate "The Tipharet Helix." Tipharet is the sphere in the center of the Tree of Life, given the number 6. The glyphs are said to represent the numerical interplay of the left and right pillars. The left numbers are 3, 5, and 8. This starts with two odd numbers followed by an even number. The right pillar numbers are 2, 4, and 7. This starts with two even numbers followed by and odd number. The crossover of polarity is at number 6, Tipharet. This is said to be a Karmic mixing, showing that everything becomes its own opposite in time.

The glyphs are like a Mobius Strip or infinity symbols. Another example depicted is a figure eight in a horizontal position. It shows dominion and is ascribed to the Greek god, Hermes. The Romans called him Mercury and the Egyptians called him Thoth.

Another symbol shown is a snake biting its tail, known as Ouroborus (or Ouroboros). A standard Yin - Yang symbol is also shown. These have also appeared as crop circle formations.

An apparent symbol of Tipharet appeared with the Tree of Life formation in 1997:

In terms of the chakras, Tipharet represents the fourth, the heart chakra. This is the apparent "BIG" message - that humanity will reach that level, and things will change greatly -

For these reasons, I feel that this formation is not a hoax. If all the formations are hoaxes, then it appears many people are working together world wide to invoke a new religion. If this is so, why is it that most of the news media consider the crop circles a joke and a non-story? "

The connection to the Hanged Man Tarot card came up in another story - about the Pope:

In the new formation at Garsington has a "flame" between the centers of the spirals. The Beltane Wheel formation had 33 of these flames. I first saw them over the "Fire Letters" in James Hurtak's, "The Book of Knowledge, the Keys of Enoch."

The new formation has a similar to the fractal pattern known as the Lorenz Attractor, famous for its metaphor, "The Butterfly Effect" -

One of the other posts, from Matt, had an image of the Zodiac:

Note the twelve sections and the four overlapping triangles. The four triangles  each indicate three signs each, as fire signs, air signs, water signs and earth signs.
