I tried to get my roommates to look at it, but they were busy trying to find clothes to wear for the day.

I then saw what looked like sunlight coming up over the horizon in the northwest and I knew it should be coming up in the northeast as it was 7:30 a.m.  I felt very distressed by this too.

Then as I watched, I realized the floating sun with the flames going by my window was a giant balloon on strings held by a man on the ground. 

I was looking out the north window now and the man was dressed like an evil clown and he pointed to a UPS truck parked by the north curb of the street.  When he looked back, I pointed to the truck and then to myself and he nodded, indicating he was delivering a package for me.

One of my roommates, who was dressed in a long white nightgown and barefoot, almost stepped out the window which had become a door - she looked rather angelic - with blonde hair and that long nightgown.  I made her step back so she wouldn't fall out the door.

So then we went down to the lobby to fetch the package. I somehow knew this was not going to be a welcome package, considering the means by which it was delivered.

There were a lot of old ladies in the lobby.  My roommate and I took the large package we found by the door and took it to a table to open it in the lobby as it a group of brightly wrapped rounded gifts that was obviously baked goodies and cakes for Christmas.

One of the old women said, "I just turned 70 - how old are you?" 

I answered, "69".  (This is true through Christmas of 2008)

She helped spread out the goodies on the tables for the others to share.

I wanted desperately to eat some but I knew I couldn't, so I left the white bread, globs of butter, and turkey slices all stay on the platter for them and I only took a few pieces of turkey for my roommates and office co-workers upstairs.

I went to my upstairs office then, and the head secretary was complaining that she had forgotten her desk key somewhere.  On top of her desk was a golden object that was more brilliant than anything I've ever seen in person. She showed me a brilliant gold key that went with it and it had a round end on it, not like a door key.

I asked her if I could see it closer because I'm nearsighted, but she was reluctant to let me come too close to it. She stood about six feet away from me and I still couldn't clearly see what it was.  She told me then that the gold key went to a pipe organ.

I told her my father could identify the key for her, but she wouldn't let me near it.

Solar Cycle 24

Solar flares produce high energy particles and radiation that are dangerous to living organisms. However, at the surface of the Earth we are well protected from the effects of solar flares and other solar activity by the Earth's magnetic field and atmosphere. The most dangerous emissions from flares are energetic charged particles (primarily high-energy protons) and electromagnetic raditation (primarily x-rays).

The x-rays from flares are stopped by our atmosphere well above the Earth's surface. They do disturb the Earth's ionosphere, however, which in turn disturbs some radio communications. Along with energetic ultraviolet radiation, they heat the Earth’s outer atmosphere, causing it to expand. This increases the drag on Earth-orbiting satellites, reducing their lifetime in orbit. Also, both intense radio emission from flares and these changes in the atmosphere can degrade the precision of Global Positioning System (GPS) measurements.

The energetic particles produced at the Sun in flares seldom reach the Earth. When they do, the Earth's magnetic field prevents almost all of them from reaching the Earth's surface. The small number of very high energy particles that does reach the surface does not significantly increase the level of radiation that we experience every day.

The most serious effects on human activity occur during major geomagnetic storms. It is now understood that the major geomagnetic storms are induced by coronal mass ejections (CMEs). Coronal mass ejections are usually associated with flares, but sometimes no flare is observed when they occur. Like flares, CMEs are more frequent during the active phase of the Sun's approximately 11 year cycle. The last maximum in solar activity was in the year 2000. The next maximum is expected to occur in late 2011 or in 2012.

COLOR-CODED SUNSPOTS: According to one leading solar physicist, the sun is turning blue. David Hathaway of the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center is using red and blue to tag sunspots of the old and new solar cycles. When he plots the color-coded sunspot numbers, it's clear a change is taking place.

 PROTO NEW-CYCLE SUNSPOT: For the second time this month, a new-cycle sunspot is struggling to form. SOHO magnetograms of the sun's surface reveal a planet-sized magnetic dipole with the telltale polarity of Solar Cycle 24:

Last week, these magnetic fields briefly coelesced into a pair of dark cores, then subsided. The apparition was too ephemeral to be included in official daily sunspot counts. For now, put this active region in the category of "struggling proto-sunspot."

Sometimes the ongoing solar minimum seems like it will never end. This proto-sunspot, as well as a similar one in early August, offers hope to observers that the solar cycle is actually moving forward. The calm won't last forever.

The '20 Count/RDV', is a warning and prediction from various intertribal medicine societies of the people of North America. It is my belief, that our greatest present concern, is that of advanced technology being used not only in a completely irresponsible way, but also to reduce the population of the Earth. Dr Boyd Graves has proven that is the case with AIDS. However, 'technology' is also, I believe, being used in other deadly ways.

7-7-2003 - I heard a long, personal story of alien manipulation today from a dear friend who is a life-long abductee/contactee, which I know for certain is true. I've been told that 11 teams of 10 psychics each have been in training since the 70's, to work on this project.

That might be all well and good in their minds to make something positive rather than negative, if you don't understand what it means to have the earth 'Tuned". It ultimately means the deaths of billions of people will occur before the zero point is reached.

THE TUNING

I hate to admit that I've heard this stuff in other places for years and didn't want to accept it. My friend said that over the weekend, some ETS who are like the US black government - hijacked and arrested and held hostage the ET she usually works with. Then they tried to manipulate her into using her psychic powers to do something she had decided was not a good thing to do. This whole thing is related to HAARP. It seems that where the HAARP scientists said that they were going to bombard our own atmosphere - they were bombarding the sun instead. I don't know if you follow space weather at all, but the sun was supposed to reach its peak and diminish, but instead has continually gotten worse As a result, earth weather is also out of control. Sunspots, solar storms; what is going on is not just sunspots - but huge explosions. I've seen the photos of 'light' perhaps lazer torpedoes being shot at the sun for quite some time now. Kent Steadman has been following those for a couple years now. We have the photographs of these torpedoes hitting the sun also. The evidence is there for all to see. It affect both  our weather here on earth as well as communications. I don't really personally care about the communications so much because I can live without a cellphone - but people are getting killed because of the violent weather. And this is just the beginning. A pole shift is what is being worked towards because of the magnetics but that's not all either; the core of the earth has become unstable too, which will cause the pole shift. There will be a large increase in volcanic activity before the shift happens.

7-25-03 - It has come to my knowledge that the little greys who are scientists have come to some kind of 'awakening' since this event occurred two weeks ago. They assumed all this while that because they had a 'hive mind/consciousness' with each other that they knew everything that was going on within their own government, and just now found out that they were being lied to by their own government.  (Sounds familiar to me thinking about my own government while I write this too)  Because they are beholden to their government to feed, house, and transport all these little scientists around the galaxy, they don't have much of a choice if they want to continue their work.  

Meanwhile, since this weekend event occurred, there is a lot of thought being given to the topic of the 'spirit' of the planets  and sun, not just of human beings and animals. This is the awakening that the ETs are going to have to deal with in the very near future if they haven't considered it already. Because these crafts are so large and take so much metal and other materials to construct, it takes an entire planet, which up to now have been completely destroyed to provide that material.  They are careful to make sure there are are no animals or other life on these planets before they destroy them, yet no consideration has been given to whether the planet had a 'spirit' housed within it. The Native Americans were well aware of the spirit of the planet and of the sun, as well as other ancient tribes in Africa. Why weren't the ETs aware of this? Or were they so scientific minded, (perhaps like our own scientists) that if it couldn't be proven in a laboratory and tested and retested, that it didn't have life?

These questions need to be addressed soon or this program has basically come to an end. Now that the psychics are aware of what is going on with the 'spirit factor' they will not participate in the program. Their eyes have been opened to the truth.

In what could be the simplest explanation for one component of global warming, a new study shows the Sun's radiation has increased by .05 percent per decade since the late 1970s.

The increase would only be significant to Earth's climate if it has been going on for a century or more, said study leader Richard Willson, a Columbia University researcher also affiliated with NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies.

The Sun's increasing output has only been monitored with precision since satellite technology allowed necessary observations. Willson is not sure if the trend extends further back in time, but other studies suggest it does.

"This trend is important because, if sustained over many decades, it could cause significant climate change," Willson said.

In a NASA-funded study recently published in Geophysical Research Letters, Willson and his colleagues speculate on the possible history of the trend based on data collected in the pre-satellite era.

"Solar activity has apparently been going upward for a century or more," Willson told SPACE.com today.

Significant component

Further satellite observations may eventually show the trend to be short-term. But if the change has indeed persisted at the present rate through the 20^th Century, "it would have provided a significant component of the global warming the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change reports to have occurred over the past 100 years," he said.

That does not mean industrial pollution has not been a significant factor, Willson cautioned.

Scientists, industry leaders and environmentalists have argued for years whether humans have contributed to global warming, and to what extent. The average surface temperature around the globe has risen by about 1 degree Fahrenheit since 1880. Some scientists say the increase could be part of natural climate cycles. Others argue that greenhouse gases produced by automobiles and industry are largely to blame.

Willson said the Sun's possible influence has been largely ignored because it is so difficult to quantify over long periods.

Confounding efforts to determine the Sun's role is the fact that its energy output waxes and wanes every 11 years. This solar cycle, as it is called, reached maximum in the middle of 2000 and achieved a second peak in 2002. It is now ramping down toward a solar minimum that will arrive in about three years.

Connections

Changes in the solar cycle -- and solar output -- are known to cause short-term climate change on Earth. At solar max, Earth's thin upper atmosphere can see a doubling of temperature. It swells, and denser air can puff up to the region of space where the International Space Station orbits, causing increased drag on the ship and forcing more frequent boosts from space shuttles.

Sun Cycle 24 will peak in about 2011.

Sun Cycle 25, which will result in a COOLING effect, will peak in about 2022. And look at the chart (first link) showing the HIGH peak in the 1930s -- another WARM era.

These global warming whackos are losing the argument, jd, but they sure are persistent. The mere fact that they ignore these scientific and proven facts in their argument, and considering they refuse to factor them into the debate (much less even mention them), their credibility is about zero.

In 1996, near the last solar minimum, the Sun is nearly featureless. By 1999, approaching maximum, it is dotted by sunspots and fiery hot gas trapped in magnetic loops.

Solar max has also been tied to a 2 percent increase in clouds over much of the United States.

It might seem logical to assume tie climate to solar output, but firm connections are few. Other studies looking further back in time have suggested a connection between longer variations in solar activity and temperatures on Earth.

Examinations of ancient tree rings and other data show temperatures declined starting in the 13^th Century, bottomed out at 2 degrees below the long-term average during the 17^th Century, and did not climb back to previous levels until the late 19^th Century. Separate records of sunspots, auroral activity (the Northern Lights) and terrestrial deposits of certain substances generated in atmospheric reactions triggered by solar output, suggest the Sun was persistently active prior to the onset of this Little Ice Age, as scientists call the event.

Solar activity was lowest during the 17^th Century, when Earth was most frigid.

Large-scale ocean and climate variations on Earth can also mask long-term trends and can make it difficult to sort out what is normal, what is unusual, and which effects might or might not result from shifts in solar radiation.

To get above all this, scientists rely on measurements of total solar energy, at all wavelengths, outside Earth's atmosphere. The figure they derive is called Total Solar Irradiance (TSI).

Heating up

The new study shows that the TSI has increased by about 0.1 percent over 24 years. That is not enough to cause notable climate change, Willson and his colleagues say, unless the rate of change were maintained for a century or more.

On time scales as short as several days, the TSI can vary by 0.2 percent due to the number and size of sunspots crossing the face of the Sun. That shift, said to be insignificant to weather, is however equal to the total amount of energy used by humans, globally, for a year, the researchers estimate.

The study analyzed data from six satellites orbiting Earth at different times over the 24 years. Willson ferreted out errors in one of the datasets that had prevented previous studies from discovering the trend.

A separate recent study of Sun-induced magnetic activity near Earth, going back to 1868, provides compelling evidence that the Sun's current increase in output goes back more than a century, Willson said.

He said firm conclusions about whether the present changes involve a long-term trend or a relatively brief aberration should come with continued monitoring into the next solar minimum, expected around 2006.

Mars Melt Hints at Solar, Not Human, Cause for Warming, Scientist Says

Simultaneous warming on Earth and Mars suggests that our planet's recent climate changes have a natural—and not a human-induced—cause, according to one scientist's controversial theory.

Earth is currently experiencing rapid warming, which the vast majority of climate scientists says is due to humans pumping huge amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. (Get an overview: "Global Warming Fast Facts".)

Mars, too, appears to be enjoying more mild and balmy temperatures.

In 2005 data from NASA's Mars Global Surveyor and Odyssey missions revealed that the carbon dioxide "ice caps" near Mars's south pole had been diminishing for three summers in a row.

Habibullo Abdussamatov, head of space research at St. Petersburg's Pulkovo Astronomical Observatory in Russia, says the Mars data is evidence that the current global warming on Earth is being caused by changes in the sun.

"The long-term increase in solar irradiance is heating both Earth and Mars," he said.

Solar Cycles

Abdussamatov believes that changes in the sun's heat output can account for almost all the climate changes we see on both planets.

Mars and Earth, for instance, have experienced periodic ice ages throughout their histories.

"Man-made greenhouse warming has made a small contribution to the warming seen on Earth in recent years, but it cannot compete with the increase in solar irradiance," Abdussamatov said.

By studying fluctuations in the warmth of the sun, Abdussamatov believes he can see a pattern that fits with the ups and downs in climate we see on Earth and Mars.

Abdussamatov's work, however, has not been well received by other climate scientists.

"His views are completely at odds with the mainstream scientific opinion," said Colin Wilson, a planetary physicist at England's Oxford University.

"And they contradict the extensive evidence presented in the most recent IPCC [Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change] report." (Related: "Global Warming 'Very Likely' Caused by Humans, World Climate Experts Say" [February 2, 2007].)

Amato Evan, a climate scientist at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, added that "the idea just isn't supported by the theory or by the observations."

Planets' Wobbles

The conventional theory is that climate changes on Mars can be explained primarily by small alterations in the planet's orbit and tilt, not by changes in the sun.

"Wobbles in the orbit of Mars are the main cause of its climate change in the current era," Oxford's Wilson explained. (Related: "Don't Blame Sun for Global Warming, Study Says" [September 13, 2006].)

All planets experience a few wobbles as they make their journey around the sun. Earth's wobbles are known as Milankovitch cycles and occur on time scales of between 20,000 and 100,000 years.

These fluctuations change the tilt of Earth's axis and its distance from the sun and are thought to be responsible for the waxing and waning of ice ages on Earth.

Mars and Earth wobble in different ways, and most scientists think it is pure coincidence that both planets are between ice ages right now.

"Mars has no [large] moon, which makes its wobbles much larger, and hence the swings in climate are greater too," Wilson said.

No Greenhouse

Perhaps the biggest stumbling block in Abdussamatov's theory is his dismissal of the greenhouse effect, in which atmospheric gases such as carbon dioxide help keep heat trapped near the planet's surface.

He claims that carbon dioxide has only a small influence on Earth's climate and virtually no influence on Mars.

But "without the greenhouse effect there would be very little, if any, life on Earth, since our planet would pretty much be a big ball of ice," said Evan, of the University of Wisconsin.

Most scientists now fear that the massive amount of carbon dioxide humans are pumping into the air will lead to a catastrophic rise in Earth's temperatures, dramatically raising sea levels as glaciers melt and leading to extreme weather worldwide.

Abdussamatov remains contrarian, however, suggesting that the sun holds something quite different in store.

"The solar irradiance began to drop in the 1990s, and a minimum will be reached by approximately 2040," Abdussamatov said. "It will cause a steep cooling of the climate on Earth in 15 to 20 years."

The United Nations, as of 2007 continued to state that global warming is man -made despite evidence to the contrary.  The joke going around for awhile was 'I wonder how many SUV's are on Mars?"

Mars has just as much global warming despite its lack of atmosphere like ours and it's distance for the sun.  Other evidence shows that 'all' planets are undergoing global warming - just as earth is.

We don't have a problem with suppressing greenhouse emissions - there is no reason why we should ignore what helps to cause unhealthy air for people to breathe - but we need to face all the facts, not the ones we like best.

"Germany is proposing that all nations agree to slow down global warming this century to no more than 2 degrees Celsius -- about 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Experts say in order to do that, current greenhouse gas emissions coming out of cars and industries would have to be cut back 50 percent below 1990 levels over the next forty years. But the Bush Administration has rejected that idea. "

The Solar Cycle 24 will last approximately 11 years. The maximum will be around 2012 and the next minimum will start around 2017 to 2019.

It has been predicted by scientists that Solar Cycle 24 will be the worst experienced in the last 50 years. That's what we have to look forward to.

When Solar Cycle 25 begins, there will be so few sunspots, that the earth will plunge back down into a cooling period.  It remains to be seen what kind of temperature differences will result in the meantime.

April 26, 2007 — All eyes are on the sun (though not directly with the naked eye) now that the NOAA-led Solar Cycle 24 Prediction Panel released its official consensus solar cycle forecast at the Space Weather Workshop in Boulder, Colo., yesterday. The panel agreed that the Earth will soon experience the start of a period of intense solar storms and the exact number of solar storms expected will become clearer in time. “The next 11-year cycle of solar storms will most likely start next March and peak in late 2011 or mid-2012,” said Doug Biesecker, a solar physicist from the NOAA Space Environment Center in Boulder, Colo., who also chaired the NASA-funded 12-person panel.

Although the effects of solar storms are often seen from Earth as beautiful lights dancing in the night sky (i.e., the Northern Lights or aurora borealis), looks can be deceiving. In reality, these storms can carry tremendous power and travel at speeds up to 5 million miles per hour. Solar storms have been known to knock out satellites, power supplies, communications and navigation systems. Many of these effects are transitory (and virtually invisible), but they can be very disruptive and potentially dangerous — both to the systems themselves and in turn the nation’s economy. Damage to these systems can also result in secondary effects that can disrupt virtually every major infrastructure dependant on them, including transportation, security and emergency response systems, telecommunications and other wireless networks and electronic equipment. Solar storms even create a biological threat to both astronauts and people flying in aircraft at high altitudes and latitudes.

Therefore, the Solar Cycle 24 Prediction Panel’s forecast is being used by various industry and government groups for planning purposes, including power companies, communication networks, satellite manufacturers/operators and airline flight planners. Unfortunately, the nation’s (and the world’s) vulnerability to solar storms will only increase as we become even more dependant on these technologies.

"As people become more dependent on space-based technology, the potential far-reaching and dramatic impacts of space weather make our mission more vital each day," said Bill Murtagh, a space weather forecaster at the NOAA Space Environment Center in Boulder, Colo. "Accurate space weather measurements and predictions are vital in mitigating the potential impact of these storms."

“The Space Environment Center’s space-weather alerts, warnings, and forecasts are a critical component of NOAA’s seamless stewardship of the Earth’s total environment, from the sun to the sea,” said retired Vice Adm. Conrad C. Lautenbacher, Ph.D., undersecretary of commerce for oceans and atmosphere and NOAA administrator.

The NOAA SEC is the nation’s first alert of solar activity and its affects on Earth. Just as NOAA’s hurricane experts predict the upcoming season of Atlantic storms and forecast individual hurricanes, the agency’s space weather experts issue outlooks for the next 11-year solar “season” and warn of storms occurring on the sun that could impact the Earth. Both the NOAA National Hurricane Center and SEC are among NOAA’s nine National Centers for Environmental Prediction. SEC is also the world warning agency of the International Space Environment Service, a consortium of 11 member nations.

NOAA Perspectives on the Solar Cycle 24 Forecast

“The prediction process was much more challenging than the previous two solar cycle forecasts because it was conducted much earlier in the cycle and because of the wide array of predictions that needed to be reconciled this time around,” stated Biesecker. In all, the panel evaluating more than 40 predictions from 15 different nation — some predicting a small solar cycle with as little as 42 sunspots, while others predicted a larger cycle with up to 185 sunspots (which would nearly rival the record setting Cycle 19 observed in the 1950s).

“Since we have not even reached the solar minimum or end of this solar cycle [23], we were really pushing the envelope on this one,” said Biesecker. “Solar cycle predictions are fairly reliable once the cycle is underway, but prior to that time the predictions are less certain — although equally important.”

“The predictions for the strength of Solar Cycle 24 had more than a threefold difference among them — that's a tremendous range," says Murtagh. “Satellite design and mission planning teams and other end users aren't always able to sort through all the conflicting information, so it is up to the NOAA Space Environment Center and the rest of the panel to come up with a single official prediction upon which they can base their decisions.”

The Science Behind the Predictions
Eleven-year solar cycle forecasts predict the number of sunspots which will occur during a given solar cycle, and sunspots are known to generate solar storms that could potentially damage Earth systems. Like other long-term weather forecasts, the solar cycle forecast does not predict the time, intensity or duration of the solar storms. In this way, the solar cycle forecast is very much like NOAA's seasonal hurricane outlook — the overall level of activity for the season is forecast, but it doesn't predict the specific time, intensity etc. of any given storm. That is covered by more short-term space weather warnings issued by the NOAA the NOAA Space Environment Center.

Each 11-year solar cycle consists of a solar maximum characterized by a large number of sunspots (and solar storms) followed by a solar minimum characterized by a smaller number of sunspots (and solar storms). Currently, we are approaching the end of Solar Cycle 23 (a solar minimum) and are on the heels of the start of Solar Cycle 24 (a solar maximum) — so the topic on the minds of many people is the upcoming Solar Cycle 24, its much anticipated solar maximum, and the number of solar storms it will generate.

The sun, like Earth, has seasons. The sun’s season is dictated by sunspots and is known as the 11-year solar cycle. Sunspots occur when strong magnetic fields emerge through the solar surface and allow the area to cool slightly, thus making it appear as a dark spot in contrast to the even hotter sun areas surrounding it. These magnetically disturbed regions are often the source of large solar flares and coronal mass ejections from the sun.

At the beginning of each 11-year solar cycle, sunspots first appear at high latitudes, but as the cycle continues, sunspots start emerging closer to the equator and eventually stop forming all together as the cycle comes to a close. Sunspots only last for a few weeks and are basically tangled knots of magnetism generated by the sun's “inner dynamo” (i.e., the internal engine that powers/drives the sun). Throughout their life, they decay, leaving behind weak magnetic fields as their 'remains.' Then the sun’s “dynamo conveyor belt” (similar/analogous to the one that drives ocean circulation on Earth, only it is made up of gas on the sun) comes along and skims the surface of the sun, sweeping up the magnetic fields of old, dead sunspots. The sunspot 'remains' are dragged toward the poles and then down to a depth of 200,000 km where the sun's magnetic dynamo (internal engine) reenergizes (essentially reincarnates) them. Once the sunspot 'remains' are reincarnated, they become buoyant, float back to the surface and create a brand new sunspot! It takes about 40 years to perform one complete circuit because the sun’s conveyer belt only moves at a rate of about one meter per second. Researchers believe the turning of the belt — especially the speed of the belt — controls the sunspot cycle.

“It is very dynamic, but basically the sun’s dynamo conveyer belt ‘recycles’ old sunspots from the current (or previous) solar cycle(s) to form seeds which germinate new sunspots during next (upcoming) solar cycle,” said Biesecker. “It is important to understand this, because the sun’s ‘dynamo conveyor belt’ forms the basis for many of the predictions used in the panels final Solar Cycle 24 forecast.”

Solar Cycle 24 Predictions and the Prediction Process
“Although they are too complex to describe in detail here, there are approximately six techniques used to predict the intensity of a solar cycle,” said Biesecker. “The first three are based on statistics and provide a sound historical baseline upon which to forecast future cycles. The other three are based on physics and the sun’s dynamo conveyer belt theory.”

Like the previous two solar cycle predictions, the final Solar Cycle 24 forecast was based on various combinations of several of these techniques, however there was a tendency to rely less on statistical techniques and more on physical techniques. It is important to note, however, that the physical techniques are still relatively new, full of uncertainties and part of a new field of research NASA is studying called helioseismology (which is analogous to studying earthquakes on Earth).

“The biggest question right now is when will we reach the solar minimum for the current Solar Cycle [23], because that will essentially mark the start of Solar Cycle 24,” said Biesecker. “It will serve as a good ‘litmus test’ for the validity of the models used in making the final prediction. If a given model fails to accurately predict the start of Solar Cycle 24, then it is likely that it will also fail to accurately predict the timing, duration and intensity of the cycle’s peak [solar maximum] and may therefore need to be eliminated from future [updated] Solar Cycle 24 predictions. Therefore, as the cycle progresses and we get more data, the panel will need to reevaluate its original predictions and periodically [annually] update it over the next few years.”

According to Biesecker, we will have a better idea of what solar weather has in store for us in late 2008 when Solar Cycle 24 is on the rise.

I then watched the sunrises for the summer solstice, which I had never done before, but I noticed that the sun was coming in my north windows of the house which I couldn't ever remember before. I marked the sunrises for a week on my east window and almost ran out of window before they stopped moving north.  I'm not washing that window, so I will know next year how the sunrises compare to this year.

I am now watching the sunrises for Fall equinox and marking it again on the window - and if the calendar is correct, the sun should rise in the exact center between the two rows of trees in the orchard. At this point, it doesn't look like its going to make it there. 

As of September 19th, the sunrise shows that the Fall equinox began today. It's not supposed to be there until the 24th of September according to the calendar.

Meanwhile - three couple lay on the floor (off the dance floor) and I noticed that the women were wearing pink shoes.

Since I didn't have a partner to dance with, I signed up at the square dance caller's desk for the next time and they would find a partner for me.

I then went back to the cabin and went on the internet where I started studying alternative health protocols that I was going to teach in Milwaukee once I got back home.

When I finished that, I went out to the driveway and since my husband hadn't come to the cabin, I was going to drive home in my sister's car.

My sister seemed over anxious to have me leave and go home and she made me promise not to take Highway 41 home which would be fastest, but a main freeway with a lot of traffic, but she made me promise to turn left at Germantown and take Highway 45 which was a narrower and slower, but safer.

I told her I wasn't ready to go home yet, but I was just getting ready.

I pulled out a map then and the map was only of Northern Canada that showed the north pole. The north pole had shifted south into Hudson Bay right near the northern edge of Canada.

Later, I had a vision where I saw the sun, colored very pale yellow and next to it where the letters FOIA which was indicating I should do a Freedom of Information Act search about the sun.  That information is below:

Later - while meditating on the sun on the sofa in the afternoon, I saw five Mayan words to the right of it, along with the word tsunami.  Right after that I saw the word 'tsunami' again.  That doesn't seem to make any sense to me, but we'll see what happens.

In a dream following the vision, I was going across the street to a school, and I forgot to take the mail with me.

Inside the school was a set of stairways like the school was built around the Temple of Palenque.

I got to the top of the steps and was standing on the top platform and I wanted to go down the center stairs, but it was too steep for me, so I went down a stairway on the right side that wasn't quite so steep and it had a green iron hand railing on the right side. (There was a matching stairway on the left)

I got down to the front door and stood at the curb, waiting to cross the street, but there was a big fire truck parked at the curb on the other side of the street.  A little girl came running out of the house across the street and just then two more fire trucks came screaming down the street with their horns blowing and stopped behind the other fire truck.

9-16-07 - DREAM - I was in a school made of stone.  The students were all adults.

There was a special group of stones set in a pillar-like pattern. Some of these stones were dated Dec. 7 and some were dated Dec. 9.

There were deep grooves carved into these stones within and when something was activated, an energy would spiral through these stones and great upheavals would occur.

We weren't told in advance when this energy would begin and that we shouldn't mess with these stones unless we knew all about the energy.

We were in awe of what the teacher said, but just then the energy started and it was too late to learn about the energy. The stones were already starting to split.

9-16-07 - VISION 2 - I was standing in an area of buildings made of stone. The ground began to tremble and shake and loose stones began to fall off the buildings more and more and littered the ground in every direction.

VISION 2 - I was standing in front of a tall pillar made of dark stone. At the top of the pillar kneeled a young blonde man, wearing a bright yellow long-sleeved shirt and bright green pants.

I heard a voice say, "He's not going to stop the stones from falling down!"

Sun key to Mayan misery?

The ancient Mayans may have had good reason for their fascination with the heavens, new research by climate historians suggests.

The research appears in the journal Science.

 The OP is correct, the Chandler wobble has stopped. And this event which has developed in the past couple months, could have dire consequences for the history of mankind.

As the Earth spins about it's axis, it has a slight wobble, like a spinning top. This is the Chandler wobble. The Chandler wobble when plotted on a graph, normally makes a regular circular pattern. But it hasn't been doing that since early December of last year. This dramatic change in the direction of the Chandler wobble has been called the biggest anomaly in the history of recording the Chandler wobble, which goes back over 100 years. The course of the Earths spin axis is off!! When will it be correcting itself? Will it correct itself? We will have to wait and see in the months to come. But if it doesn't, the biggest calamity in human history will be upon us.

The Sunspot Enigma: The Sun is “Dead”—What Does it Mean for Earth?
Dark spots, some as large as 50,000 miles in diameter, typically move across the surface of the sun, contracting and expanding as they go. These strange and powerful phenomena are known as sunspots, but now they are all gone. Not even solar physicists know why it’s happening and what this odd solar silence might be indicating for our future.

Although periods of inactivity are normal for the sun, this current period has gone on much longer than usual and scientists are starting to worry—at least a little bit. Recently 100 scientists from Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and North America gathered to discuss the issue at an international solar conference at Montana State University. Today's sun is as inactive as it was two years ago, and solar physicists don’t have a clue as to why.

"It continues to be dead," said Saku Tsuneta with the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, program manager for the Hinode solar mission, noting that it is at least a little bit worrisome for scientists.

Dana Longcope, a solar physicist at MSU, said the sun usually operates on an 11-year cycle with maximum activity occurring in the middle of the cycle. The last cycle reached its peak in 2001 and is believed to be just ending now, Longcope said. The next cycle is just beginning and is expected to reach its peak sometime around 2012. But so far nothing is happening.

"It's a dead face," Tsuneta said of the sun's appearance.

Tsuneta said solar physicists aren't weather forecasters and they can't predict the future. They do have the ability to observe, however, and they have observed a longer-than-normal period of solar inactivity. In the past, they observed that the sun once went 50 years without producing sunspots. That period coincided with a little ice age on Earth that lasted from 1650 to 1700. Coincidence? Some scientists say it was, but many worry that it wasn’t.

Geophysicist Phil Chapman, the first Australian to become an astronaut with NASA, said pictures from the US Solar and Heliospheric Observatory also show that there are currently no spots on the sun. He also noted that the world cooled quickly between January last year and January this year, by about 0.7C.

"This is the fastest temperature change in the instrumental record, and it puts us back to where we were in 1930," Dr Chapman noted in The Australian recently.

If the world does face another mini Ice Age, it could come without warning. Evidence for abrupt climate change is readily found in ice cores taken from Greenland and Antarctica. One of the best known examples of such an event is the Younger Dryas cooling, which occurred about 12,000 years ago, named after the arctic wildflower found in northern European sediments. This event began and ended rather abruptly, and for its entire 1000 year duration the North Atlantic region was about 5°C colder. Could something like this happen again? There’s no way to tell, and because the changes can happen all within one decade—we might not even see it coming.

The Younger Dryas occurred at a time when orbital forcing should have continued to drive climate to the present warm state. The unexplained phenomenon has been the topic of much intense scientific debate, as well as other millennial scale events.

Now this 11-year low in Sunspot activity has raised fears among a small but growing number of scientists that rather than getting warmer, the Earth could possibly be about to return to another cooling period. The idea is especially intriguing considering that most of the world is in preparation for global warming.

Canadian scientist Kenneth Tapping of the National Research Council has also noted that solar activity has entered into an unusually inactive phase, but what that means—if anything—is still anyone’s guess. Another solar scientist, Oleg Sorokhtin, a fellow of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, however, is certain that it’s an indication of a coming cooling period.

Sorokhtin believes that a lack of sunspots does indicate a coming cooling period based on certain past trends and early records. In fact, he calls manmade climate change "a drop in the bucket" compared to the fierce and abrupt cold that can potentially be brought on by inactive solar phases.

Sorokhtin’s advice: "Stock up on fur coats"…just in case.
