NOTE: I'VE WRITTEN ABOUT THIS BEFORE BUT WHEN CATASTROPHE HITS, ESPECIALLY
BAD WEATHER SUCH AS WE ARE HAVING NOW, THIS TOPIC ALWAYS COMES UP AGAIN.
HOW BAD CAN IT REALLY GET?
PLANET X COULD HAVE A LOT TO DO WITH THIS TYPE OF WEATHER AND THE WEIRD
THINGS THAT ARE GOING ON IN THE SKY TOO. WE ARE HAVING MANY MORE OBJECTS
IN THE SKY THAN WOULD NORMALLY BE THERE. THEY ARE SUDDENLY FINDING NEW
ASTEROIDS THAT WERE NEVER CLOSE BY BEFORE, AND ALL OF SUDDEN, THERE THEY ARE.
FOR EXAMPLE: 2013 KB WAS JUST DISCOVERED AND IT IS GOING TO BE ONLY .08 AU
FROM US ALL DAY.
I KNOW WE ARE GETTING CLOSER AND CLOSER TO THE TIME OF THE POLE SHIFT.
THE LARGE QUAKES ARE EVIDENCE OF IT, BECAUSE EVERY TIME WE GET A VERY LARGE
QUAKE, THE TIME SHIFTS A LITTLE MORE, AND WE HAVE BEEN TOLD THIS BY SCIENCE WHEN
IT HAPPENED. WHEN THE JAPAN QUAKE AND TSUNAMI OCCURRED JAPAN ACTUALLY
SHIFTED 8 WHOLE FEET.
THERE ARE QUAKES NOW IN MORE PLACES THAT HAVE NEVER HAD QUAKES BEFORE WHICH
SHOWS THAT EVERYTHING UNDER THE EARTH IS MOVING LIKE NEVER BEFORE: AND
THE QUAKES ARE BIGGER AND MORE FREQUENT THAN EVER BEFORE AS WELL.

After a series of deadly tornadoes barreled through Kansas and Oklahoma
this weekend and leveled Jessica Wilkinson's home, she cared about one thing
above all others: finding her beloved terrier, Bella.
In heartwarming scenes of hope amid the devastation, photographs show
Wilkinson sobbing as she frantically searches for her pet, before discovering
her among the rubble of her home in Norman, Oklahoma and gripping her tightly.
The emotional reunion came after the severe weather rattled through
Kansas and Oklahoma, killing two elderly men, injuring at least 21 more and
leaving a violent trail of destruction through the Midwest and South.
Several terrifying twisters were spotted on Saturday evening near
Rozel, a sparsely populated area in central Kansas. They were also reported to
the south in parts of Oklahoma and Iowa.

At least four separate tornadoes touched down in central Oklahoma on
Sunday afternoon, including one near the town of Shawnee, 35 miles southeast of
Oklahoma City, that laid waste to much of a trailer park.
Two men, 79-year-old Glen Irish and 76-year-old Billy Hutchinson, were
found dead after the tornado wrought its devastation on Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Irish's body was found out in the open after the storm passed through,
while Hutchinson was taken to Norman Regional Hospital, but later pronounced
dead, according to the medical examiner.

5-20-13 - DREAM - Apparently I lived and worked at A-C on 70th and
Greenfield in West Allis, WI.
My husband was the tall guy from One Life to Live (I want to say David) I
looked him up and his name was Todd)
We both had computers built into the wall of our bedroom, and he bragged that
he knew how to print from his, and receipts came out of the wall, one of which
was for him trying to buy a house for $795 downpayment and the receipt said that
he didn't have enough eqty (equity?)
I was late for work which started at 9 a.m. and I was dressed all in white
like a nurse, and I worked across the street on 70th and Greenfield. I had
to put on a heavy winter coat, which I did, and complained that I had to walk to
work. (But I only had to walk one block)
I was walking down the hall with another tall man past some glassed-in
offices and he said, "Maybe we should call in a priest, but when we do, it's
always about Noah! It's always about Noah!"
Just then, an unknown man was exclaiming about something on the news and
talking really loudly - and he used the word or name Holmes or
I hadn't had breakfast yet, and I thought perhaps I could get a hamburger out
of the machine and microwave it on the way to work.
We are living in the end times and the Bible says that as in the days of
Noah, so will it be in the end times.
5-20-13 - MEDITATION - I decided to ask whether the swarm of tornados going
on is related to the Day's of Noah. I was told yes.
I then asked to SEE further information, and instead I saw Joe making a phone
call, and the voice of my friend RA came into my left ear, and then I was told
by someone - "Why don't you ask the Chale (Chail?) ladies to see what they say!

NOTE: TODAY, IN MOORE, OKLAHOMA, THERE WAS A TORNADO 2 MILES WIDE THAT
STAYED ON THE GROUND FOR 45 MINUTES. IT DEVASTATED EVERYTHING IN ITS PATH

YESTERDAY, ALSO IN OKLAHOMA AND OTHER CLOSE BY STATES, THERE WERE MULTIPLE
TORADOS WITH ALSO GREAT DEVASTATION:
5-21-13 - DREAM - I was living in a large house by the ocean.
A married couple and their small daughter came to visit so they could practice
swimming in the ocean.
The little girl was taken into the water first. She was wearing a
little red swimming suit and cap and I saw her out the window bobbing up and
down in the gentle waves.
The husband looked familiar - a little like Michael J. Fox when he was young
- a small man - I don't recall seeing his suit, but he went into the water
with his daughter.
The wife was a very large, chubby, buxom woman - a very good friend of mine
over the years. I didn't see her suited up, but she wore a very large
nightgown, and I told her that if she didn't have enough clothing, she could
borrow some of my old 'fat' clothes because I didn't wear it anymore.
I don't know why they had to practice swimming in the ocean.
5-21-13 - NAP DREAM - I was too tired to start on one of my many
projects, so decided to take a nap in the mid-afternoon. When I lay down on the
bed, I told spirit to give me a dream that I could do something with.
In the first part of the dream, I was going to transplant a large cactus
plant that had outgrown is place in its pot that was located on the outside of
two pillars next to a hallway in the foyer of our large house.
Unfortunately, I hadn't thought to wear gloves, and in order to move the
cactus which I had cut off at ground level, I would have to grab a hold of the
cactus and its spines went all the way up and down the tall cactus plant and I
couldn't figure out how to steady it in order to move it to a larger pot and
place in the house.
I started to wake up and remembered something I had dreamt before, and was
instantly back in that dream and it was mid-winter or early spring, and people
were journeying from place to place, using a credit card to live in a hotel, and
then move to a new location.
The young couple we were following were dressed in heavy winter coats, and so
They crossed a bridge over a large river, and then it was our turn and for
reason, we either ran out of gas or something went wrong with the car, and we
were parked right by the railing of the bridge as it crossed the river.
The river was iced over with a thick snow pack over it, and there was about
three feet of snow on the ground all around us, and there was no traffic at all.
We were rather stuck where we were until someone came to rescue us. We evidently
didn't have cell phones to call for help either, though we had access to money
with our credit cards if necessary.
I decided to get out of the car and walk back aways for help, but when I
touched the green railing of the bridge, it shifted ominously, and I was afraid
I'd fall if I got out of the car and fall into the icy river, so I stayed where
I could still remember the young couple we were following who had crossed the
bridge right before us... and I woke up with that memory.

HOW WAS IT AT THE TIME OF NOAH?
Bible Prophecy and the Return of Jesus
As it was in the days of Noah…
By I Gordon
Alright… straight into it!
Let’s start with a question. When Jesus describes His return in the
New Testament, He compares it to the days of two different
characters in the Old Testament. Do you know who they are? An easy
one I know and I’m sure you’ve already said Elijah and Enoch. Ok, I
can’t trick you. It’s Noah and
Lot. Jesus said ‘As it was in
the days of Noah, so shall it be in the coming of the Son of Man.’
It makes sense then, I’m sure you’ll agree, to study the days of
Noah and the days of Lot to gain some insight into what they may
teach us for the days still to come. This study will concentrate on
the days of Noah, specifically looking at the first ten verses of
Genesis chapter 6.
E.T, up close, personal, and not so friendly.
Gen 6:1-2 ‘When men began to increase in
number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the
sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they
married any of them they chose.’
In describing the days of
Noah, we read of a strange event that kicks things off. The Bible
says that the ‘sons of God’ married the ‘daughters of men’! The
‘sons of God’ is a term used to denote angels,
so the chapter starts with the dramatic increase and contact between
the human and spirit worlds. I’m not saying that
the end times leading up to the return of Jesus will see
the same type of sexual union that occurred here in Genesis 6 (it
may, but there doesn’t seem to be any scriptures that support this),
but there will be a dramatic increase in the contact between humans
and the spirit world as the time of Jesus’ return draws closer. We
see this already whether it is through the increased use of spirit
guides, alien encounters, or open satanic worship. It will
continue and it will increase. If you have read anything
of those who are allegedly in contact with the ‘aliens’ and ‘spirit
guides’ you will notice the same claims coming through that these
beings are going to show themselves physically to those on earth
The corrupting of the human race.
Gen 6:4 ‘The Nephilim
were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of
God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were
the heroes of old, men of renown.’
The second point that should
be made about the ‘days of Noah’ is the corruption of the human race
that occurred. We read above in verse 4 that the
Nephilim were on the earth in those
days… and not only then because we read, in a slightly haunting
phrase, ‘and also afterward’.
The word ‘Nephilim’ means ‘fallen ones’
and they were the giants, men of renown, who were the offspring of
the fallen angels and women as mentioned above. It was Satan’s
attempt to pervert God’s plan of having the Messiah come from the
seed of a woman (Gen ). As it
was in the days of Noah, so shall it be… This corruption of the
human race was the main reason for
the flood, and it is happening again. This time it is
humans initiating the corruption through cloning and DNA
manipulation. There very well may be good intentions involved but
you cannot help but think where it will all end when a sinful fallen
race decides to play God. God stepped in (in a big way!) to put a
stop to the corruption in the time of Noah and God will put a stop
to it again.
Wicked… yet tolerance reigns.
Gen 6:5 ‘The LORD saw how great man’s
wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of
the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time.
Oh boy! What a statement. It
says above that in the time of Noah, every inclination of the
thoughts of mans heart was only evil, continually. Now we are
certainly not at that stage yet, but we do seem to be on the way!
Basic morals are changing so quickly these days. This shouldn’t
surprise us for it is prophesied that
‘There will be terrible
times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers
of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents,
ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without
self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash,
conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.’ (2 Tim
A few months ago I heard
Stuart Briscoe speak and he mentioned how when he was young there
were many virtues and many vices... many things that were morally
right and to be desired, and many things that were morally wrong and
were to be shunned and rejected. Today, Briscoe said, we are heading
for a society that has only one virtue and one vice. That one
virtue, that one thing to be desired above all is ‘tolerance’.
And the one vice, that one ‘wicked’ thing that is to be rejected and
shunned is of course, ‘intolerance’. In the days of Noah, men’s
hearts were wicked and the Lord was grieved that He had made man.
His judgement had to come. So shall it be in the coming of the Son
The restraining of the Holy Spirit removed
Gen 6:2,6 Then the LORD said, “My Spirit will
not contend with man forever…The LORD was grieved that he had made
man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain.’
Push things far enough and
something has got to give… something has to break. The Lord’s
patience is amazing but it didn’t last forever in the time of Noah,
and it won’t last forever in the days leading up to the return of
Jesus. Judgement will come. The verses above say that the Lord was
grieved in the days of Noah and that His Spirit would not contend
with man forever. A limit was put on the wickedness of man and
judgement came. The Holy Spirit, Jesus told us, currently convicts
the world of sin, righteousness and judgement. But the New Testament
speaks of a time when the sinful hearts of men will not be
restrained and this current work of the Holy Spirit will be removed.
2 Thes 2:7-12
‘For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the
one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken
out of the way… The coming of the lawless one will be in
accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of
counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil
that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they
refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God
sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the
lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the
truth but have delighted in wickedness.’
The Bible speaks of this
scary time coming when God Himself will send a powerful delusion
upon the inhabitants of earth because they ‘refused to love the
truth’! So not only will the restraining
work of the Holy Spirit be removed, but God will send a sign so
great that they will believe the lies of the Antichrist.
The Spirit of the Lord will not strive against a stubborn proud
humanity forever and His judgement will come.
The dramatic intervention of God
Genesis 6:7 ‘So the LORD said, “I will wipe
mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—men and
animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the
air—for I am grieved that I have made them.”
God, as I hope you know, is
amazingly kind and patient. He desires, as 1 Timothy 2:4 tells us,
‘that all men be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth.’
This current time of His patience should be seen as an opportunity
for people’s salvation. (2 Pet 3:9,15) But there came a time in the
days of Noah that the dramatic intervention of God was called for.
This intervention is what Peter remind us of when he writes
1 Pet 3:3-7 First of all, you must
understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and
following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this
‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything
goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” But they
deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens
existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these
waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the
same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire,
being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
The Bible warns us that
people ‘deliberately forget’ that God has judged the world and they
like to ‘deliberately forget’ that He will do it again. But as sure
as He judged the world the first time, so shall it be done again,
and just as the judgement of the flood covered the entire earth so
shall the entire earth be affected by the next judgement. I am
reminded of the sobering lyrics of a Bob Dylan song…
‘My so-called friends, have
fallen under a spell.
They look me squarely in the
eye, and say, “well, all is well.”
Can they imagine the
darkness, that will fall from on high,
When men will beg God to
kill them, and they won’t be able to die.’
Ready, watching, walking.
Genesis 6:8-9 But Noah found favor in the
eyes of the LORD…Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the
people of his time, and he walked with God.
The final point (and a good
place to conclude this study) that stands out about the days of Noah
is, of course, Noah himself! Noah was a righteous man. He ‘walked
with God’ just as his great grandfather Enoch had done. It has been
said that Noah was building the ark for over 100 years. Imagine the
mockery he would have faced! Imagine the patience and faith Noah
exhibited as he stood true to his belief, year after year, without
seeing any fulfilment of God’s word to him. Imagine the heart ache
for this ‘preacher of righteousness’ (2 Pet 2:5) when not one soul
outside of his family would believe him and turn from his wicked
ways. (And you thought you were an unsuccessful evangelist!)
Through it all stood Noah.
Pressing on with what God had called him to, despite all the
opposition and ridicule that the enemy could stir up! How different
Noah was in his age… a righteous man shining as a light in a dark
world. How different from the world we should be today! While we
will look further at this point in much greater detail when in the
study of ‘the days of Lot’, the main point that Jesus alluded to
when examining the days of Noah was the need, like Noah, to be ready
for His coming. That need is even greater for us today as we clearly
see that day approaching.
So, may you be like Noah and
walk with God. May you redeem the time, in whatever way God is
calling you to, making the most of the opportunities you have, for
the time is short. May you be found watching, waiting and ready for
that hour is at hand!
Some have had problems with the fact that angels could
mate with humans and have tried to say that the term ‘sons of
God’ is speaking about the godly line of Seth. I see no proof of
this and it goes against the clear teaching of scripture. The
term ‘sons of God’ is used exclusively in the Old Testament
concerning angels (see Job 1:6, 2:1, 38:7). When the 70 Jewish
scholars that worked on the Septuagint (a translation of the Old
Testament Hebrew scriptures into Greek) translated the term
‘sons of God’ in Gen 6:2, they used ‘Angels of God’. Some like
to quote Matt 22:30 to prove that angels cannot marry or
procreate, but Jesus was addressing the ‘angels in heaven’.
Genesis 6 speaks not of the obedient angels in Heaven, but of
fallen angels on earth! Furthermore, anytime angels are
seen by humans they are seen as male (Gen 18:1-19:22, Mark
16:5-7, Luke 24:4-7, Acts 1:10-11) and in the Genesis 18:1-19:22
passage we even see (unfortunately) that the ungodly men of
Sodom ‘desired’ the angels for themselves! The thought behind
this is that the men of Sodom
thought that sexual union was possible. 2 Pet 2:4-5 and
Jude 6-7 also throw some light onto this passage. Jude tells us
that the angels abandoned their proper abode and then contrasts
their actions with that of
Sodom and Gomorrah, who ‘in the
same manner’ went after strange flesh. The term ‘strange flesh’
means to go after an unnatural sexual union. For the men of
it was homosexuality, but for these fallen angels it was
inter-marrying with human women.
 In his
book ‘The Worlds Last Dictator’ Dwight L.
Kinman quotes Jaques Valle,
the world’s most renowned astrophysist,
who said “UFO’s are real but probably not physical: they are
part of some evil scheme for the victimization of humans and one
of their major purposes is to manipulate human consciousness and
to program mankind for some ultimate deception.”
“I believe there
is a machinery of mass manipulation behind the UFO phenomenon…
they are helping create a new belief system… they are designed
to help change belief systems, and that the technology we
observe is only the incidental support for a world wide
enterprise of subliminal seduction.”
The only other place where the Nephilim
are mentioned is in Num
where the Israelites who spied out the Promised Land came back
with a report saying ‘All the people we saw there are of
great size. We saw the Nephilim
there (the descendants of Anak come
from the Nephilim). We seemed like
grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.”
So these giants existed after the flood as well.
example of this can be seen in the following, crazy, story.
“The first person
to be prosecuted for religious hatred under laws brought
in after the September 11 attacks has been ordered to compensate
a neighbour who said Osama Bin Laden
was a great man.
engineer Mr Scott, 33, of Exeter,
must give £100 to three neighbours after he told them he hated
their Muslim religion because of the terrorist atrocities.
Student Mohammad Hudaib had said
September 11 was a great day. Bin Laden was a great man and all
Americans deserved to die. He also spat and insulted Scott’s
family. Scott, who admitted religiously aggravated threatening
behaviour, was also ordered by Exeter
magistrates to do 200 hours community service.
also said that in the last days the signs
and wonders performed will be so great that ‘even the elect
would be deceived if it were possible.’ Quite a few Bible
Prophecy teachers have proposed the idea that the powerful
delusion could be tied to the emergence of an alien spaceship or
direct visible contact with aliens (which in realty are demonic
encounters). That will sound extreme to some, but it does tie in
with the days of Noah, and Hollywood
has certainly been getting people used to the idea in the last
decade or two. It would also be a ‘powerful delusion’ strong
enough to shake people’s belief to the core. All these things
have been prophesied before they come to pass so that your hope
will be firmly rooted in the truth of
 The story
is told of an atheist that was debating a Christian. The atheist
said ‘I’ll prove to you that there is no God. God, if you are
there, I dare you to strike me down and kill me right now!’ With
the atheist still alive, the Christian turned and said ‘All that
you have just proved is the love, grace, and patience that God
has towards a wicked and proud humanity.’ The Christian is
right. If I was God, then look out any proud, wicked atheist
that challenges me! Thankfully I’m not. But as it was in the
days of Noah, God has set aside a time when He says that ‘enough
Matthew 24:37-39 ...'But as the days of Noah
were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the
days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking,
marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into
the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away;
so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.'
So what was it like in the days of Noah, before he entered into
the ark? ...
Genesis 6:5,11,12 ...'And God saw that the wickedness of man was
great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of
his heart was only evil continually. The earth also was corrupt
before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked
upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had
corrupted his way upon the earth.' ... So the earth in the days
of Noah was full of people who did not know God, who walked after
their own flesh, in the lusts of the flesh with evil, corrupt and
violent ways. At this moment when God saw this great wickedness, He
repented and was sorrowful that He had made man ... Genesis 6:6
...'And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and
it grieved him at his heart.' ... We cannot imagine the anguish
of our loving Heavenly Father when He looked down upon the earth and
saw no one (except Noah) living a Godly life. It was so bad that God
said ... Genesis 6:13 ...'The end of all flesh is come before
me.' ... God will only bare with people's wicked ways for so
long, before Judgment comes upon them.
Let's just stop and pause for a moment and think about the number
of people who were saved in Noah's day. Man lived for a long time
before the flood, like Methuselah, who lived for 969 years! So the
population of the earth would have been quite large, into many
millions, and yet only 8 were saved! Just think about
that, only 8 people truly trusted in God and followed His will.
There must have been many others who believed in God and 'in their
own eyes' served God, but just as Jesus said in Matthew 7:21-23
...'Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into
the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which
is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we
not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils?
and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess
unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.'
... The same would have been true for many people in Noah's day.
They would profess to be God's people, but in fact they were still
walking in the flesh, living a life of sin and not obeying God's
Afterall, God said that man would have 120 years from the time He
proclaimed that He would destroy the earth with the flood ...
Genesis 6:3 ...'And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive
with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an
hundred and twenty years.' ... Noah would have preached to many
people during these years, while the ark was being built, but even
though many may have been professing to follow God, they would not
open their ears and hearts to the truth and the warning that Noah
gave, and therefore perished in the flood.
So do the same conditions exist in our world today? Well, take a
look around you, and you will see a world full of evil, corruption
and violence. I believe we are living in that time which Jesus
prophesied about. A time when the world would be in the same state
as in the days of Noah. God's Spirit is still striving with man, to
convict him of sin and to turn to God and obey Him and keep His ten
commandments. But as that verse in Genesis 6 says ... 'My spirit
shall not always strive with man.' ... God will give everyone a
chance to turn to Him with all their hearts, but if they choose to
ignore the promptings of the Holy Spirit and the warnings from God's
Word, then His spirit will be withdrawn and true will the verse
become that says ... 'He that is unjust, let him be unjust still:
and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is
righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him
be holy still.' (Revelation 22:11) ... Once the door to mercy is
closed, they who are holy will remain holy, and they who are filthy
will remain filthy.
Today, we find the majority of people in the world choosing the
'broad way' that leads to destruction, because the way to eternal
life is too narrow for them. They say that you don't need to keep
God's Commandments. They say that we can worship God any way we
like. They say that it is ok to like the things of this world. They
say that we need to include people from different faiths. They say
that it is ok for active homosexuals to take part in and lead church
worship. They say many things that are clearly contrary to the Word
of God. Why? Because they walk after the flesh rather than the
Spirit. And because they have closed their hearts to the promptings
of the Holy Spirit and are heading for destruction. The constant
indulgence of sin that existed in Noah's day, exists today, and
notice one thing about what Jesus said ...
Matthew 24:38 ...'For as in the days that were
before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving
What is the significance with this? Is it a sin to be eating and
drinking and marrying? No, but this verse shows that the people of
the world then lived for themselves and did not live for God, also
they ignored the warnings from Noah and carried on in their worldly
lives as if nothing was going to happen. This is the state we find
the world today. God's true people around the world are warning the
rest of this world that the day of judgment is coming, and that we
should be obeying God and keeping His commandments and following in
Jesus' footsteps. The end time message has been preached for over
100 years, but is the world listening? No! The majority of people
are ignoring the warning signs, just like in the days of Noah.
Mankind is too blinded by the pleasures of this world to be able to
read the signs and heed the warning.
What about Bible prophecy? Is the professing church studying
this? No! Compared to the number of professing Christians in the
world today, very few are interested in Bible prophecy, and very few
are searching the scriptures daily to find out the truth. Many are
deceived into thinking that God's grace covers their continued
worldly living in sin. Oh how great the number of people that have
turned the grace of God into a license to sin. Oh how great the
number of people who think they are headed for the Heavenly Kingdom
but in reality are heading into the fire! But Christ, with the door
of mercy still open, sends His messengers throughout the world to
convict the world of sin and through the promptings of the Holy
Spirit, some will heed the warnings and turn to Him. But as in the
days of Noah, the majority will scoff at the warnings and ignore the
promptings of the Holy Spirit.
2 Peter 3:3 .....'Knowing this first, that
there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own
Then the cry will go
out from Heaven saying "he that is unjust, let him be unjust
still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still."
Remember, only 8 people were saved in the days of Noah, and Jesus
confirmed that only few will be saved in the end ... Matthew 7:14
...'Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth
unto life, and few there be that find it.' ... Will you heed the
warning? Will you start preparing yourself and others for that
'great and dreadful day' when our Lord returns? Will you be with the
saints at the end when Jesus returns?
Revelation 14:12 ...'Here is the patience of
the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and
the faith of Jesus.'
Global Dust Spikes, Paleoclimate
Collapse of Civilizations All Correlate to Date of Noah's Flood
In July 1993, the Greenland Ice
Sheet Project Two (GISP2) completed drilling down 3,053.44 meters
through the ice and 1.55 meters beyond into the underlying bedrock.
From this was recovered the deepest ice core record to date. One
year earlier the European Greenland Ice Core Project (GRIP)
recovered a core to a depth of 3,028.8 meters at a site 30
kilometers east of GISP2. Comparative data between these two deep
cores have allowed scientists to develop an ice core-derived
paleoenvironmental record dating back greater than 110,000 years BP
(BP means "before present" and "BP" is defined as 1950).
The establishment of this 100,000+
year BP record of Earth's atmospheric history in the ice has been
fairly well calibrated with proxy dating methods. The annual layer
counting of visible ice stratification, when compared to radiocarbon
extracted from the CO2 gas trapped within the ice and
other measurement techniques, has yielded an age error factor of
about 2% from present to 11.64 years BP; about 5% to 17.38 years BP;
and 10% to about 40,000 years BP. In other words, the ice has been
confirmed to be as old as the collective measurements indicate.
These data alone destroy the core doctrine of the theory of Young
Earth Creationism, that of the Earth being only about 6,000 years
In addition to the actual age of
the ice at any given depth in the core, scientists can also
determine the mean temperature of the Earth's past climate for
different times and ages by measuring the ratio of the isotopes of
oxygen (O16 and O18) gas present in the CO2.
Full details of this and other techniques and further references to
GISP2 and GRIP projects can be found here:
GISP2 Ice Coring Effort.
Secular critics of Young Earth
Creationism cite the very existence of the Greenland Ice Sheet and
the paleoenvironmental record it contains (as well as the data found
in ice cores from the glaciers on Kilimanjaro in Africa and
Huascaran in Peru) as absolute proof that the Earth is older than
6,000 years and that Noah's flood did not occur, since there are no
indications of a flood in the ice core layers. On the first point
they are absolutely correct. On the second point, we disagree that
the lack of direct evidence in the ice proves that a global flood
did not take place at all. There is certainly much "indirect"
evidence to consider.
The ice core records, whether in
Greenland or mountain top glaciers around the globe, are replete
with "melt" indicators. These are layers where an indeterminate
amount of the surface ice has been melted between accumulations. The
resolution of the layer dating at GISP2 is about 3.8 years.
Therefore, pinning down a one-year flood sequence to definitively
prove or disprove Noah's flood in the ice core record is
problematic. Whether the ice was floated off its anchor rock by
Noah's flood, or remained stuck fast to the rock and was submerged
by the flood waters, would make no difference. In either scenario
the top layers would have been washed over by fresh (not salt)
water, resulting in a "melt" layer or hiatus in accumulation. In the
former case by rains; in the latter case through inundation by a
rapidly rising fresh water lens. (See the sections on Noah's flood
for fresh water explanation.) What is important is the fact that the
Greenland Ice Sheet and mountain glaciers exist and have calibrated
dated layer points between them. We can learn from these if we know
what to look for, and where.
If our Bible is true when it tells
us Noah's flood was a real and global event that according to the
Biblical chronology happened about 2,345 B.C. (roughly 4,295 BP),
and if the GISP2 and GRIP data are also true, the only possible
explanation is that the bulk of the material which constitutes the
basement of the present Greenland Ice Sheet somehow survived that
flood. Actually, it would have needed to survive two floods, as the
Earth was also flooded before the six-day regeneration. (see Genesis
1:2.) If that is true, the Paleoclimate data from the ice cores
can give us insight into environmental conditions, not only after
the six days of Genesis 1, but also before the six days. What has
accumulated on the ice since Noah's flood can tell us about the
environment from then until the present.
The top portion of the graphic to
the left shows the global temperature trends across 18,000 years
before present, determined by Paleoclimate proxy data. The black
lines on the lower left side show where in the time line the last
great mass extinction episode took place according to Paleontology.
(This will be discussed in great detail in a following section.) The
black lines on the lower right indicate where Biblical history and
events fit into the Earth's Paleoclimate
The bottom half of the graphic
shows the GISP2 record for levels of SO4 ions (acid) in
the Earth's atmosphere across the same 18,000 years BP. The ion
concentrations reflect relative levels of global volcanic activity
at given intervals across the time line.
The information on the composite
graphic reveals several very important things. From the days of Adam
until Noah's flood (Holocene Maximum), the Earth's average
temperature was about 1° C higher than in the years after the flood.
An average temperature elevation of only 1° will translate into
temperatures several degrees warmer in the higher latitudes of the
Earth. For what it is worth, even with all the millions of tons of
so called "greenhouse gases" that have been added to the atmosphere
over the last two centuries, the measured greenhouse effect has so
far only increased average global temperatures by
less than about half a degree C of what it was before Noah's
flood. So it is safe to conclude that the world between Adam and
Noah was relatively much warmer compared to our world today.
It should also be pointed out that
at the time of Noah's flood (roughly 4,300 years BP), there is no
large spike of volcanic markers. This suggests that the Young Earth
flood models, all of which are based on suppositions of massive
global underwater tectonic and volcanic upheavals, have no basis in
fact in the Paleoclimate record. If you will examine the
bottom part of the above chart closely you will see that the SO4
ion concentration at 4,300 years BP shows the very lowest levels
measured across the entire 18,000 BP-year time line. This is in
sharp contrast to the heightened volcanic activity on the Earth at
the time of the Pleistocene extinctions and through the period
immediately before the creation of Adam and the six days of the
Earth's regeneration. This level of volcanic markers is unequaled in
the period 6,000 years to present. This volcanic activity was
obviously a contributing factor (or a component, at least) to the
death of the old world order.
Returning to the graph at the top
of the chart, we see the Earth's climate temperature rapidly
dropping roughly 1.8° C beginning about 4,300 BP. That is well
within the exact time frame for directly after Noah's flood. This
would be consistent with a relatively sudden and dramatic climate
change, or the introduction of very pronounced yearly weather
seasons, or both. The Bible alludes to such a change occurring
directly after the flood:
"While the earth remaineth,
seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and
winter, and day and night shall not cease." (Genesis 8:22 KJV)
What is extremely interesting is
that the Greenland Ice Sheet, the Mount Kilimanjaro glacier in
Africa, the Huascaran glacier in Peru, and even the undersea
sediments of the Gulf of Oman, all have anomalous indicators that
correlate to around 4,300 to 4ka years BP. These have been
interpreted as markers suggesting extreme climate changes that are
theorized to have precipitated the collapse of many ancient
civilizations, the Old Kingdom of Egypt and the Akkadian Empire of
Mesopotamia being two examples in published works.
1. The time frame, determined by
radiocarbon dating, is 4,170 BP +/- 150 cal yrs. That fits
the time of Noah's flood (within the dating margin of
2. Note the sharp spike in CACO3
and dolomite in the sediments of the Gulf of Oman and their
abrupt "spike" date of 4,194 BP. Again, taking the margin of
error into account, it fits the post-flood times.
3. Note that the author attributes
the sediments in the Gulf of Oman to "dust" blown in from
neighboring land areas, thus the conclusion that it
indicates a great drought.
4. Note the observation that the
settlements remained abandoned for nearly 300 years.
The author of the paper has
correctly deduced from the data that a sudden and dramatic climate
change occurred, severe drought conditions started, and the
settlements were abandoned, all at about the time indicated by the
radiocarbon measurement of the organic artifacts cited. The author
has not identified the cause of climate shift, or proven that the
drought caused the abandonment of the settlements - but has made an
assumption on the latter based on the evidence and the thesis of the
Needless to say, the author never
even considered the possibility that the cause of the sudden and
extreme climate shift may have had something to do with Noah's
You ask, "What can a drought and
dust possibly have to do with a global flood?" Everything!!!
Applying the same data to a
different thesis, I submit that following a global flood the Earth
would have experienced catastrophic drought conditions shortly after
the waters abated, and the dust anomaly is evidence of this. It can
be argued that it was not the drought that caused the sudden
abandonment of the Akkadian Empire settlements - it was Noah's flood
that caused it, drowning out the inhabitants. The drought
conditions, which would have followed the flood because much of the
Earth's vegetation had perished, leaving little or nothing with
living root systems to hold the soil down, would be predictable. The
settlements would have remained abandoned for many years until the
descendants of Noah's family multiplied and began to spread out
across the Earth. Eventually they would have migrated back
into the area and occupied it when conditions were again favorable
for sustaining an agricultural based city-state.
If this were the true scenario,
then those climate effects would be almost global, and there would
be similar climate and dust anomalies elsewhere on Earth
corresponding to the same historical time frame. There is just such
evidence found in the ice cores extracted from Mount Kilimanjaro in
Africa and across the Atlantic in the Huascaran glacier, which is
high in the Peruvian Andes of the southern hemisphere.
Below is a graph showing three data
sets from the Huascaran glacier. Notice the extremely pronounced
dust spike and the time frame, roughly 4.3ka (The time of Noah's
As you can see, the dust signature
found in Huascaran several thousand miles and an ocean away (above
chart) from the Gulf of Oman (lower chart), and the common nature of
the indicator (dust) and time frame (>4ka), match closely enough
within the margin of error to be more than a coincidental
The data discussed on the
following off-site link about the
Mount Kilimanjaro Ice Core also show evidence of a dust
indicator in the same time frame and suggest that the climate event
was connected to the collapse of several ancient civilizations,
including the Old Kingdom of Egypt. Additional supporting evidence
is found in sediment samples from beneath the waters of Lake Tana,
high in the Ethiopian Highlands. This lake feeds the Nile, and the
samples reveal the lake may have dried up around 4,200 years ago.
archeological/astronomical evidence found in the remains of the Old
Kingdom of Egypt suggests that the Earth may have also tilted on its
axis because of Noah's flood. Physicists say that a flood on the
Earth of the magnitude of the Biblical proportions claimed would
indeed have caused an axis shift, which would most certainly
contribute to global changes in weather patterns. Here is some
additional evidence indicating that
something happened in 2,345 B.C. In reference to the temple of
Karnak in Egypt in that off-site link, it should also be noted that
the time of Noah's flood was about 2,345 B.C. (4,295 years B.P.)
Because the temple of Karnak
obviously survived the flood (if there was one), this tells us that
the flood was relatively tranquil, drowning out the antediluvian
population without wholesale destruction of the relics of those
antediluvian civilizations. Certainly that fact alone contradicts
all those cataclysmic, hydro-plate sliding, underwater volcano
mountain building, Grand Canyon gouging models proposed in most
"Creation Science" flood models floating around today. It just did
not happen that way.
There is a valid argument, however,
concerning the Greenland Ice Sheet and the mountain glaciers which
deserves a response: How could the ice have survived Noah's flood?
Some claim that if there were such a flood the ice sheet and the
mountain glaciers would have floated off from the bedrock and broken
up, but the continuity of the ice core record shows no such breakup.
Others contend the ice would have remained stuck in place, become
submerged, and would contain flood evidence in the ice strata
marking the event.
Keep in mind that in either case, a
portion of the top layers of ice and snow would have been melted or
washed away, leaving no evidence but a indicator of a melt episode
or hiatus in accumulation. The renewed new accumulation that
followed Noah's flood would only be indicative of post-flood days.
The accumulation of the dust spikes previously discussed would be
such a post-flood deposition. But could the ice sheet or glaciers
remain fast to the Earth and be washed over?
Ice floats, but not under all
Try this experiment: Take a cupful
of ice cubes from your freezer, pour them into a metal or stoneware
bowl, and place the bowl in the freezer for a couple of hours. After
a couple of hours, remove the bowl, set it on the counter, and
quickly pour a glass of tap water over the ice inside the bowl. You
will find that the ice will remain stuck to the bottom of the bowl,
completely submerged under the water until the bowl's surface warms
enough to melt the bond. If you transfer this concept to something
on the scale of a mountain glacier, it takes an extended period of
time for the bedrock to warm, or for water to seep under to dissolve
a more extensive bond.
The massive Greenland Ice Sheet may
be a little different story. Although the fresh water from Noah's
flood would certainly be much less buoyant than heavier sea water,
meaning less pressure on the ice to float off, the sheer scale of
the Ice Sheet could make a stress breakup unavoidable even if the
bottom of the sheet was frozen fast to the continent.
At the bottom of the GISP2 bore
hole the temperature is -9° C and shows that the ice sheet is frozen
tight to the bedrock. From the top of the ice sheet, down to about
2,790 meters, both the GISP2 and GRIP records are nearly identical.
Since these two holes are about 30 km apart, that indicates that the
composition of the ice record is consistent across a large area, or
at least between those two holes.
But below 2,790 meters the
continuity vanishes. Quoting from a portion of the previously
referenced "The GISP2 Ice Core Record - Paleoclimate Highlights" web
The climatic significance of
the deeper part of the GISP2 ice core, below 2790 m depth and
110 kyr age, is a matter of considerable investigation and
controversy. The isotopic temperature records and electrical
conductivity records of GISP2 and GRIP, so similar for ice <110
kyr in age, are very different in the lower part [
Grootes et al., 1993; Taylor et al.,
1993a]. Ice in GISP2 below 2790 m depth is folded and tilted,
and shows evidence of unconformities [ Gow et al.,
This finding of folded and tilted
layers and unconformities gives support to the possibility that the
massive ice sheet may have been fractured and was lifted off by the
global flood of Noah's time, or possibly the earlier flood found at
Genesis 1:2. After floating free, the massive sheet would have
remained fairly well in the same northern latitudes during such an
event [held relatively stationary due to northward-tending currents
induced by Earth's
Coriolis Force (effect)]. and very little would have melted. As
the flood waters receded, the ice sheet would then gently settle
back down and eventually fuse over the submerged ice that had not
broken away, because the remaining bottom ice was still frozen solid
to the bedrock.
Bottom line: This question will
remain open until further data collection can provide the answers.
