| 4-4-08 - I was meditating today, and met three
women/goddesses on the 6th spiritual level. They were smiling - seemingly
happy to meet me. All of a sudden a donkey [Satan] started braying loudly over the fence about 300 feet behind our house. At the same time, the door of our greenhouse started opening and slamming shut over and over and there had been no wind blowing when I began meditating. I began having a vision of a field that was ready for harvest, and there were black crows diving over and over at the crop until the field was just a mass of stubble at ground level. The donkey would not stop braying and the door kept slamming, so couldn't maintain the vision any longer. |

Pharaoh dreamed - Joseph interpreted: When Jacob's sons reached early manhood, they became jealous of Joseph who was his father's favorite. They kidnapped him, and sold him to a caravan headed for Egypt. Living in the land of Egypt, Joseph became very important and powerful, overseeing all of Pharaoh's graineries. When a great famine swept the Middle East, Egypt remained fully stocked with food on account of Joseph's brilliant skill and foresight. Knowing that Egypt had ample food, Jacob gathered his children and wives together and took them there to seek bread so that they not starve to death. Once there he discovered his missing long-lost favorite son. Joseph held no grudge against his brothers. He welcomed them all with open arms and gave them as much as they wanted to eat. As a reward for his generosity and love, Jacob adopted Joseph's two sons, Ephraim and Manesseh, and blessed them that they might also share in the tribal legacy God had promised Jacob concerning his twelve sons. | Genesis 41:1 And it came to pass at the end
of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the
river. 41:2 And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well
favoured kine and fatfleshed; and they fed in a meadow. 41:3 And, behold,
seven other kine came up after them out of the river, ill favoured and
leanfleshed; and stood by the [other] kine upon the brink of the river.
41:4 And the ill favoured and leanfleshed kine did eat up the seven well
favoured and fat kine. So Pharaoh awoke. 41:5 And he slept and dreamed the
second time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up upon one stalk, rank
and good. 41:6 And, behold, seven thin ears and blasted with the east wind
sprung up after them. 41:7 And the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank
and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, [it was] a dream. 41:8 And
it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent
and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof:

41:12 And [there was] there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the
captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our
dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret. 41:13 And it
came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine
office, and him he hanged. 41:14 Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and
they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved [himself], and
changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh. 41:15 And Pharaoh said unto
Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and [there is] none that can interpret it:
and I have heard say of thee, [that] thou canst understand a dream to
interpret it. 41:16 And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, [It is] not in
me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace. 41:17 And Pharaoh said unto
Joseph, In my dream, behold, I stood upon the bank of the river: 41:18
And, behold, there came up out of the river seven kine, fatfleshed and
well favoured; and they fed in a meadow: 41:19 And, behold, seven other
kine came up after them, poor and very ill favoured and leanfleshed, such
as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness: 41:20 And the lean
and the ill favoured kine did eat up the first seven fat kine: 41:21 And
when they had eaten them up, it could not be known that they had eaten
them; but they [were] still ill favoured, as at the beginning. So I awoke.
41:22 And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came up in one stalk,
full and good: 41:23 And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, [and]
blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them: 41:24 And the thin ears
devoured the seven good ears: and I told [this] unto the magicians; but
[there was] none that could declare [it] to me. 41:25 And Joseph said unto
Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh [is] one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he
[is] about to do. 41:26 The seven good kine [are] seven years; and the
seven good ears [are] seven years: the dream [is] one.
41:27 And the seven
thin and ill favoured kine that came up after them [are] seven years; and
the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years of
famine. 41:28 This [is] the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh: What
God [is] about to do he sheweth unto Pharaoh. 41:29 Behold, there come
seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt:
41:30 And there shall arise after them seven years
of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and
the famine shall consume the land; 41:31 And the plenty shall not be known
in the land by reason of that famine following; for it [shall be] very
grievous. 41:32 And for that the dream was
doubled unto Pharaoh twice; [it is] because the thing [is] established by
God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

A little more and they will stone me." 17:1 And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and [there was] no water for the people to drink. 17:2 Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the LORD? 17:3 And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore [is] this [that] thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst? 17:4 And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me. 17:5 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go. 17:6 Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. 11:11 And Moses cried unto the LORD, Wherefore hast thou afflicted thy servant? and wherefore have I not found favour in thy sight, that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me? 11:1 And [when] the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard [it]; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed [them that were] in the uttermost parts of the camp. 11:2 And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the fire was quenched . 11:3 And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of the LORD burnt among them. 11:4 And the mixt multitude that [was] among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? 11:5 We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick: 11:6 But now our soul [is] dried away: [there is] nothing at all, beside this manna, [before] our eyes. 11:7 And the manna [was] as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium. 11:8 [And] the people went about, and gathered [it], and ground [it] in mills, or beat [it] in a mortar, and baked [it] in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil. 11:9 And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it. 11:10 Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased. 11:11 And Moses cried unto the LORD, Wherefore hast thou afflicted thy servant? 11:13 Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat. 11:14 I am not able to bear all this people alone, because [it is] too heavy for me. 11:15 And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness. 11:16 And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee. 11:17 And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which [is] upon thee, and will put [it] upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear [it] not thyself alone. 11:18 And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? 1 And Elias the Thesbite, of the inhabitants of Galaad, said to Achab: As the Lord liveth, the God of Israel, in whose sight I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to the words of my mouth. 2 And the word of the Lord came to him, saying: 3 Get thee hence, and go towards the east, and hide thyself by the torrent of Carith, which is over against the Jordan; 4 And there thou shalt drink of the torrent: and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. 5 So he went, and did according to the word of the Lord: and going, he dwelt by the torrent Carith, which is over against the Jordan. 6 And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the torrent. 7 But after some time the torrent was dried up: for it had not rained upon the earth. 8 Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying: 9 Arise, and go to Sarephta of the Sidonians, and dwell there: for I have commanded a widow woman there to feed thee. Sarephta of the Sidonians... That is, a city of the Sidonians. 10 He arose, and went to Sarephta. And when he was come to the gate of the city, he saw the widow woman gathering sticks, and he called her, and said to her: Give me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. 11 And when she was going to fetch it, he called after her, saying: Bring me also, I beseech thee, a morsel of bread in thy hand. 12 And she answered: As the Lord thy God liveth, I have no bread, but only a handful of meal in a pot, and a little oil in a cruise: behold I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it, for me and my son, that we may eat it and die. 13 And Elias said to her: Fear not; but go, and do as thou hast said but first make for me of the same meal a little hearth cake, and bring it to me, and after make for thyself and thy son. 14 For thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel: The pot of meal shall not waste, nor the cruise of oil be diminished, until the day wherein the Lord will give rain upon the face of the earth. 15 She went, and did according to the word of Elias: and he ate, and she, and her house: and from that day 16 The pot of meal wasted not, and the cruise of oil was not diminished according to the word of the Lord, which he spoke in the hand of Elias. 17 And it came to pass after this, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick, and the sickness was very grievous, so that there was no breath left in him. 18 And she said to Elias: What have I to do with thee, thou man of God? art thou come to me, that my iniquities should be remembered, and that thou shouldst kill my son? 11 And Elias said to her: Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him into the upper chamber where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed. 20 And he cried to the Lord, and said: O Lord, my God, hast thou afflicted also the widow, with whom I am after a sort maintained, so as to kill her son? 21 And he stretched, and measured himself upon the child three times, and cried to the Lord, and said: O Lord, my God, let the soul of this child, I beseech thee, return into his body. 22 And the Lord heard the voice of Elias: and the soul of the child returned into him, and he revived. 23 And Elias took the child, and brought him down from the upper chamber to the house below, and delivered him to his mother, and said to her: Behold thy son liveth. 24 And the woman said to Elias: Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and the word of the Lord in thy mouth is true. 2 KINGS 8 After seven years' famine foretold by Eliseus, the Sunamitess returning home, recovereth her lands, and revenues. Eliseus foreshoweth the death of Benadad, king of Syria, and the reign of Hazael. Joram's wicked reign in Juda. He dieth, and his son Ochozias succeedeth.1 And Eliseus spoke to the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying: Arise, and go thou, and thy household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst find: for the Lord hath called a famine, and it shall come upon the land seven years. 2 And she arose, and did according to the word of the man of God: and going with her household, she sojourned in the land of the Philistines many days. 3 And when the seven years were ended, the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines, and she went forth to speak to the king for her house and for her lands. 4 And the king talked with Giezi, the servant of the man of God, saying: Tell me all the great things that Eliseus hath done. 5 And when he was telling the king how he had raised one dead to life, the woman appeared, whose son he had restored to life, crying to the king for her house, and her lands. And Giezi said: My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Eliseus raised to life. 6 And the king asked the woman: and she told him. And the king appointed her an eunuch, saying: Restore her all that is hers, and all the revenues of the lands, from the day that she left the land to this present. 7 Eliseus also came to Damascus, and Benadad, king of Syria was sick; and they told him, saying: The man of God is come hither. 8 And the king said to Hazael: Take with thee presents, and go to meet the man of God, and consult the Lord by him, saying: Can I recover of this my illness? 9 And Hazael went to meet him, taking with him presents, and all the good things of Damascus, the burdens of forty camels. And when he stood before him, he said: Thy son, Benadad, the king of Syria, hath sent me to thee, saying: Can I recover of this my illness? 10 And Eliseus said to him: Go tell him: Thou shalt recover: but the Lord hath showed me that he shall surely die. Tell him: thou shalt recover... By these words the prophet signified that the king's disease was not mortal: and that he would recover if no violence were used. Or he might only express himself in this manner, by way of giving Hazael to understand that he knew both what he would say and do; that he would indeed tell the king he should recover; but would be himself the instrument of his death. 11 And he stood with him, and was troubled so far as to blush: and the man of God wept. 12 And Hazael said to him: Why doth my lord weep? And he said: Because I know the evil that thou wilt do to the children of Israel. Their strong cities thou wilt burn with fire, and their young men thou wilt kill with the sword, and thou wilt dash their children, and rip up their pregnant women. 13 And Hazael said: But what am I, thy servant, a dog, that I should do this great thing? And Eliseus said: The Lord hath showed me that thou shalt be king of Syria. 14 And when he was departed from Eliseus he came to his master, who said to him: What said Eliseus to thee? And he answered: He told me: Thou shalt recover. 15 And on the next day, he took a blanket, and poured water on it, and spread it upon his face: and he died, and Hazael reigned in his stead. 16 In the fifth year of Joram, son of Achab, king of Israel, and of Josaphat, king of Juda, reigned Joram, son of Josaphat, king of Juda. And of Josaphat, etc... That is, Josaphat being yet alive, who sometime before his death made his son Joram king, as David had done before by his own son Solomon. 17 He was two and thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. 18 And he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, as the house of Achab had walked: for the daughter of Achab was his wife: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord. 19 But the Lord would not destroy Juda, for David his servant's sake, as he had promised him, to give him a light, and to his children always. 20 In his days Edom revolted from being under Juda, and made themselves a king. 21 And Joram came to Seira, and all the chariots with him: and he arose in the night, and defeated the Edomites that had surrounded him, and the captains of the chariots, but the people fled into their tents. 22 So Edom revolted from being under Juda, unto this day. Then Lobna also revolted at the same time. 23 But the rest of the acts of Joram, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Juda? 24 And Joram slept with his fathers, and was buried with them in the city of David, and Ochozias, his son, reigned in his stead. 25 In the twelfth year of Joram, the son of Achab, king of Israel, reigned Ochozias, son of Joram, king of Juda. 26 Ochozias was two and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem: the name of his mother was Athalia the daughter of Amri king of Israel. Daughter... That is, grand-daughter; for she was daughter of Achab son of Amri, verse 18. 27 And he walked in the ways of the house of Achab: and he did evil before the Lord, as did the house of Achab: for he was the son in law of the house of Achab. 28 He went also with Joram, son of Achab, to fight against Hazael, king of Syria, in Ramoth Galaad, and the Syrians wounded Joram: 29 And he went back to be healed, in Jezrahel: because the Syrians had wounded him in Ramoth, when he fought against Hazael, king of Syria And Ochozias, the son of Joram, king of Juda, went down to visit Joram, the son of Achab, in Jezrahel, because he was sick there. 1: He - The man whom he had seen upon the
throne. Them - Those whom God hath
appointed to destroy the city: perhaps angels. Every man - Every one;
'tis an Hebrew idiom. Each of these had a weapon proper for that kind of
destruction which he was to effect; and so, some to slay with the sword,
another with the pestilence, another with famine. In his hand - Denoting
both expedition in, and strength for the work. 2:
And - As soon as the command was given, the ministers of God's
displeasure appear. Men - In appearance and vision they were men, and
the prophet calls them as he saw them. The north - Insinuating whence
their destruction should come. One man - Not a companion, but as one of
authority over them. With linen - A garment proper to the priesthood.
They - All the seven. 3: The glory - The glorious brightness, such
as sometimes appeared above the cherubim in the most holy place. Gone up
- Departing from the place he had so long dwelt in. He was - Wont to sit
and appear. Threshold - Of the temple, in token of his sudden departure
from the Jews, because of their sins. 4: That sigh - Out of grief for
other men's sins and sorrows. Cry - Who dare openly bewail the
abominations of this wicked city, and so bear their testimony against

6: At my sanctuary - There are the great
